I see everyone is busy with Michael Musto. Thanks to nycer for letting me know Michael had done some. They are rare, but always the best, and other than me, I think he is the only person who regularly reveals blind items which is always a plus. I am in talks with the chatroom people to make the rooms larger and much less, how shall I say, Miley friendly. They will have their home, but hopefully there will be a home for everyone else to have big discussions like the blind items today without being asked asl or asked for sex.
This B- list actress with the A list movie resume. When I say A list movie resume I mean summer type popcorn flicks that do well. Well she was at a premiere recently and decided that she didn't like where the limo driver was going to drop her off. She opened her door and saw that he had missed a spot by about five feet. God forbid she was going to walk the five feet. With the door halfway open she unleashed a verbal tirade against the poor driver that included every four letter word known to man and to Xenu. (not a clue, just thought it was fun to write) After she made him move up the five feet, she opened her own door and then went around to the drivers side and then let him have it again. The guy drove away leaving her there in the street. She then put on her happy face and made nice for the red carpet.
i would love to hear that it was jennifer love hewitt or sarah michelle gellar.

ReplyDeleteWhen I see "B- list actress with the A list movie resume" I think of an actress who is not a star or even a major supporting role in the movie, just a big enough role that she gets some lines and screen time, it keeps her working, and it might get her another role somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteSo I like the Vivica A. Fox guess from captivagirl. I never would have thought that myself (but then I never would have thought of her for any reason, which goes along with the 'b- actress' part.) I knew she'd been in all those movies but until I saw them listed together I didn't realize how A list her movie resume was.
This reminds me though that I never quite know where to rank black actresses. Vivica is one of the few with mainstream name recognition, so she's kind of easy, but what about someone like Nia Long or Tyler Perry? Mario or Jill Scott? They're very familiar with Af-Am audiences but I doubt they register much in the mainstream. So how do I weigh that? The Af-Am crowd is like a system within a system. (Well, Mario is going to be on Dancing With the Stars so I guess is a wee bit of a hint. I can't tell if it's an upgrade, downgrade, or lateral move though.)
I'm going on a tangent here, but I think that is a question I would like answered, because I'm sure black actors/actresses/singers have their own share of dirt too and it would be nice to know where to rank them. If nothing else it could broaden the names thrown into the guessing pool.
Oh, and I haven't been back in the chat rooms since the first week it was there. I threatened to change my username to idontdoasl but I have a feeling that I would have gotten even more asl's from people trying to be funny. The weird thing is that most of the 'normal' people chatting would at some point in the conversation mention where they were from and their age, but for some reason asl'ing is like...an online booty call. Like, "what's your sign baby?" it's just lame.
ReplyDeleteI liked the idea of them, though. I know it's convenient not to have to log in with a user name but maybe requiring a person to register for blogger or google would help? Or maybe not. I don't know. Or maybe you could 'designate' a room for each crowd. CDAN regulars go here. Miley lovers go here. asl losers over there. As if people would follow directions.
I do think making the rooms bigger might help, if only because I think some people don't realize they're in both rooms or even that they're technically 'in' the room unless they deactivate it. So they're taking up space. But like someone else said, then you'd get 187 guests and 13 Miley fans.
