This early 20's Italian film and soap opera actress is probably a B list in her own country if not a C. Then why the hell am I even writing about her? Well, she has a certain look and ability that enables her to transform almost seamlessly into almost any leading lady working today. Although it might be good for her if she wanted a career as a stand in, what she uses her talent for is something much more bank account enhancing.
Her ability first became noticed on one of her first projects when she was teamed up with this British/Italian actress who found our actress mesmerizing when she basically turned into Scarlett Johannson right before her eyes. Soon our actress found that producers and directors who had always wanted to sleep with Scarlett were beating down her door and paying her large sums of money to act like Scarlett. Now, our actress when not working has a huge list of very happy directors and producers from Italy, the UK, and the US who gladly await her quarterly e-mail which identifies which character she is portraying for that three month period. Her portrayal often includes erotic scenes from films or movies to make everything even more of a fantasy. For the first three months of 2008, she is portraying Ali Larter. A night with our actress currently costs about $20,000, and if you think that is too high, she has a waiting list.
This is TOO weird! Can't think of any Italian actress in her 20s. And the British-Italian actress? Greta Scacchi?

ReplyDeleteElena Santarelli- definitely can pull off Ali Larter no prob, but she's more a "tv personality" than an actress. Actually, looking at her pictures I think that $20,000 a gig might be a little on the 'light' side. Probably too obvious if it were her, so it probably isn't.

Okay, okay, okay...the one most likely- Martina Stella. Had a bit roll in Ocean's 12, is blonde, 23, and can probably "do" both ScarJo and Ali Larter. Like Bennetta, she too starred in a TV mini starring Jane Alexander.
Though...just looking at Italian TV movies that Jane Alexander did, brings a couple of interesting alternate possibilities, such as this young lady with only two IMDb credits six years apart: Ilaria Negrini, blonde, looks like ScarJo and Ali mutated into one being.
Another possibility for the British/Italian actress: Sarah Felberbaum. She seems versatile enough to be our girl, but strangely she is also English/Italian and was in the same "Figlia di Elisa" miniseries as Jane Alexander. Hmmm...two British/Italian actresses in the same series? Whoa!
If it's Sarah Felberbaum, then it might be Nicoletta Romanoff (four things on IMDb, two TV). "one of her first projects"?
Chiara Stampone: Silk would have been a major roll for her, her previous roll being "Girlfriend #1" six years previous. Also had an International cast.
Maria Elena Vandone, who just won the Italian "Dancing with the Stars" and has only two IMDb credits...I wonder if that fits the "one of her first projects" part.
Though if English/Italian is Katy Louise Saunders, uh...Maria Chiara Augenti? Laura Chiatti?
