Today's Blind Items
This one might take a little explaining. We have a former A/B list award winning film actress who was the thing about 15 years ago. A little resurgence of late, but still probably a C list actress with her current body of work, but still has that B list name recognition. She is single, but was married once. Had an affair with another A list television actor who was also married at the time. Both marriages. Done. Since then her love life has been pretty quiet. Until now. On her latest film she got involved with another married B list television actor, and a C when it comes to films. She worked her magic and the next thing you know, he is leaving his wife. Well it has now been a few months since filming ended and our actress is already tired of him, and so has broken off their relationship. The thing is, his wife has no plans to take him back and so now he is reduced to living in one of those hotels where you rent by the month.

C list award winning makes me think of someone like Juliette Lewis, who won some awards for Cape Fear in '92.

ReplyDeleteAll the others have no or multiple marriages (the only Oscar hopefuls fitting the same criteria = Deneuve, Sarandon and Perez).
Holly Hunter has one movie in pre-production and the males don't fit the hints.

ReplyDeleteWhat about Darryl Hannah??? She was big in the 90's, quiet the past several years, and now has a few movies in post-production. One of the movies co-stars Eric Roberts (is he married?), another co-stars Michael Madsen (married).

Yup, Twisted---John-John came to her rescue after she was photographed with a black eye; That was a weird incident. I don't think Darryl ever really addressed it, or talked about it.
ReplyDeleteI can't find anything on Holly Hunter either, and in re-reading the wording of the blind, it makes me less likely to think it's her: "She worked her magic and the next thing you know, he is leaving his wife." I don't think of Holly Hunter as a man-stealing siren.

Off topic: I was on a flight with Darryl Hannah once. She had a violin case as a carry on purse and was slathering on moisterizer in First Class as I walked back to economy. The shame.

Colin Firth is a writer. he had a short story in a book compiled by Nick Hornby (about a boy, fever pitch, and high fidelity. but how to be good was the best of them all.)

She's most definitely divorced, and just finished shooting a movie with Craig Sheffer from One Tree Hill.

Never understood the appeal of Helen Hunt. She's just not very appealing. She was lucky to have that sitcom with that comedian who was as unattractive as her. Even luckier with the Oscar.
ReplyDeleteBut when she did that movie with Mel (I'm a good Catholic) Gibson, well - I couldn't even watch it for 2 minutes, it was so awful. She was really not suited for that role.
Cyn, maybe the long held rumor that she's a lesbian are true and that's why there's never any spark between her and her leading man. In fact, I think the biggest spark I've ever seen was between her and Kevin Spacey. Go fig.
