Nicole usually stays behind in Sydney while Keith is touring the U.S. She was there for the filming of her latest movie, and now will be there waiting the royal birth.
I'm still not seeing how it could be Nicole and Urban. Did he date several models? I don't know, I'm asking. And she's an actress, not a model. Even if you look at the wording about Australia differently, it still doesn't make sense to me.

could mean that his wife lives in sydney and when he's away (ie nashville/LA) it's far enough that she won't find out
or it could mean when HE'S in sydney, he's far enough away that the missus (in the US or wherever)won't find out.
