In Touch is reporting that George Clooney and Sarah Larson are done. This can't be happening. This was one of my favorite Valentine's Day picks and so they are just going to have to work out their differences. Either George is going to have to start opening the checkbook more or Sarah is going to have to learn that being a girlfriend to an actor means you can be an actress. I don't care what it takes, but these two have to be together and engaged next February. Have to be.
Now that we have that settled everyone can get back to work, or play, or staring at the clock as the hands on its face creep slowly towards 5.
I would love to know the real story behind him.

That issue will look great on the newsstands next to the tabloids proclaiming the breakup. Tough luck Sarah; I'm sure you can go back to your previous line of work in Vegas.

Come on! Just because he enjoys spending time with his friends does NOT mean the guy is gay. No way would Pitt, Damon and a slew of others spend time with him if this were the case. He has a major history with women, and frankly, he's SMART not to marry, considering the ridiculous divorce rate in his world. He's been married, and if his ex-wife could out him, she would have by now. I have male friends who choose to be bachelors, and while I've suspected one or two of hiding something, the rest have hit on me at one time or another and made it very clear they didn't go for the boys.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I do not think Pitt or Damon are homophobes. How could you be in that business? I just meant that they are obviously the stereotypical 'guy's guys', and probably wouldn't have loads in common with someone who lived a different lifestyle. Plus, they'd want to keep a distance for the same reason gay actors and actresses try to conceal their sexual preferences: dollars.
I accept that Cruise might walk the line between straight and gay, and that a lot of actors do, but Clooney? No way. I can't get over the fact that just because a guy openly admits to having a problem with the concept of marriage, he's suddenly dubbed 'gay', like there's no other explanation. He's insanely good looking, rich and quite bright, so he's got oodles of girls to choose from. Like Warren Beatty, if you'll recall, who is anything but gay.
Is it possible we're gay-obsessed?
