Celine Dion Destroying The Environment All On Her Own

I guess this came out a few weeks ago, but I never saw it. I don't think I would have seen it now except for the fact that the skinny, whiny, looks like she is giving birth when she sings chick known as Celine Dion finally thought of a way to respond to the fact that she used more water than any person in the entire United States last year. Yep. One person, and not even an American at that used 6.5M gallons of water in 2007 at her Jupiter Florida home. To convert that gallons for everyone, it is 29.5M liters of water. Florida officials say it was the most water used not only in the state, but the entire United States by a residence.

Now, remember, Celine wasn't even living there for all of 2007 because she was still finishing up in Vegas. How many hookers do you think her husband had sex with in Vegas during their entire run there? Any guesses?

Anyway, to put her water usage into perspective, the average resident in Celine's county in Florida used 120,000 gallons for the entire year. Celine used so much water in 2007 that it was enough to fill a large bathtub every four minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Now, Celine is not the only one who deserves scorn. Seems that Tiger Woods used 3.7M gallons of water in 2007.

Celine came out yesterday and started crying and doing a Tammy Faye (RIP) impression and her mascara was running and she shrilled and she whined and basically everyone just wanted her to shut the hell up so they just nodded their heads and ran and ran. Celine says that there was a broken water main and now that it is fixed she thinks she will be the lowest user in the county. Uh huh. Sounds like they dug their own well and so now know one will know how much they waste.

How much did this cost? To be the biggest water user in the country? $36,343.13. I know. It is disgusting that wasting that much water only cost that much. She makes that kind of money for 10 minutes of singing. She doesn't have any incentive to stop except for the bad publicity like this. Make her stop, and while you are at it, how about making her retire. Go off to Canada with your creepy wanted to have sex with you when you were 12 husband.

my guess is that she has a large property and it went to watering the lawn.

I spent like 3 days in FL back at the beginning of April, and don't know how people can stand living there.

  4. I saw Rene at Caesar's a few years back and he stared a hole through me. His eyes are intense. Celine should never be photographed without make-up.

Isn't water use calculated monthly? Why didn't someone the city or homeowner) do something as soon as the water use increased. Well, if any of it is even true. I blame the meter reader.

My fella is Canadian, so I can't bad mouth Celine too much. He thinks she's the queen of the world.

For some reason I don't like her. Don't even buy her music cause her voice annoys me.

Wasn't her weirdo husband married when they met? Thought I heard he left his first wife for Celine.

  10. ....Here in Floriduuuuh, no one can take away (sue you for) your primary residence. It's the only reason rich a-holes buy houses here. For the tax shelter. This snatch spends all that $$$$ on ANYthing for that house, for tax purposes. Greedy, greedy...

  11. We put sprinklers ina few years ago & almost immediately received a letter from our water district asking why our usage went up. That was after applying & paying for permits. At least they were on the ball.

  12. most homeowners in Florida use well water to water the yard. this much water usage sounds like a water main problem. someone didn't catch it in time. she should be fined heavily. DNFROMMN - If more shared your opinion i wouldn't be sitting in traffic Oct - April!

  13. I feel sorry for her.

Her house must have a helluva leak. She should call a plumber...

  14. Ummm, sounds to me like the county didn't pay attention to those high water bills either each month. Or they are so used to the rich that live in Jupiter (and there are a TON of them) using well beyond what is reasonable that they can't tell the difference anymore.

  16. Wonder why her accountant didn't alert her when the first bill came in? I mean, that's incredible. I'm sure it's a main line break since it's so much usage, but that's incredible.

  17. after we put our pool in, we got the gas company in the freaking middle of the night (need i mention while i was recovering from the FIRST bionic surgery?) i'm not opening the door, it LOOKED like a gas company guy, but, you know.
sure enough, i called first thing business hours, and yes, it's common practice for them to send a guy out when service increases dramatically. of course, that's gas, but still, can't believe they'd let the water go that long.

then again, the raping of florida goes on and on. oh, and i live in CA, but i love florida, and i know some of what's been going on down there for decades. water main, personal use, hell's bells, MY gas bill quadrupled, i sucked it up and paid it. what's she crying about??

sorry. low cal diet. shouldn't be drinking. isn't it friday?

  18. oh, crap.
also, we were given notice last year, that we were subject to fines for any over usage of water. washing cars, sprinklers over a certain amount of minutes (your neighbors can turn you in) etc. etc.
i came home to broken sprinklers friday (in new clothes, dammit) and spent a panicked 45 minutes trying to figure out how to unprogram the auto thingie. yeah, me and celine may have to cry together about that one.
    pass the lime wedges.

  20. BBunny, it'll be Friday very soon. Go ahead and have one on us.
What an incredible distinction. Hope Celine's proud.

  21. I live in Florida too. My water bill for the year was about $1000 which is split into water and sewer. It used to be a bit higher until they instituted water restrictions.

I'm nearly 100% certain her bill was from some malfunction, probably an accountant/billpayer who sat there with his finger in his @$$ ignoring a bill that just shouldn't have been.
