Daily Mirror Blind Item
Which supposedly strait-laced couple, who harp on about the joys of domesticity, actually enjoy an open marriage - regularly bringing home new partners to experiment with?

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner!
Ok, I know, I know - this is the Daily Mirror so chances are the couple are British but I HAD to. It's a sick compulsion. Honestly. :-)
Posh and David?
Hmmm, anyone have an "in" with the Mirror so we could ask them to make their blinds a little bit more vague? :) If Ent's blinds are always "Affleck," the Mirror's are always "all of them."
I'm wondering if the mis-spelling if the word "strait" in strait-laced is a clue?
That's how it's spelt!
Nigella Lawson and her husband - she's a domestic goddess! or Jamie and Jools Oliver or Gordon and Tania Ramsey????
Maybe Richard & Judy?
"...Gordon and Tania Ramsey????"
I wouldn't mind in on that party - they're both so freakin' adorable!!!
Hmmm . . . if they were talking American couples I would guess Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Anthea Turner and grant whatsisface!
Yes, PsychoticState, apparently Will and Jada have confirmed they have an open marriage. But I think this blind is probably a UK couple.
This may be a few days old, but here is an article (from Australian Woman's Day?) on Will and Jada's open marriage.
Yawn.

Thanks for the link White Oprah!
I think its spelled "Straight-laced" - but it could be one of those words that either way is acceptable.
Please forgive me for what I am about to do. I am a serious nerd and can't help myself.
The word "strait" means narrow or restricted, or can refer to a narrow passage, as in:
strait-laced
straits of ____ (eg, straits of Hormuz)
strait-jacket
the expressions "straitened circumstances" and "dire straits"
FYI. Sadly, I have no idea about the answer to this blind.
I would say George Strait but doubt it very much even though he is/was known for getting involved with other women.
Gwynnie and Chris?
Will & Jada, and yawn. I think everyone does know this though so I dont think there thought of as straight lace anymore.
I think that open marriages are pretty common nowadays...and I suspect that they always have been.
It's just that now we have the dating sites and Craigslist and the like so we can see it for ourselves.
I kinda like the idea myself...as long as both agree and maybe you need some rules, too.
smells like the naked chef
Vadge & her Guy
I'm a serious nerd too so...
Merriam Webster:
Main Entry: strait·laced
Variant(s): or straight·laced \ˈstrāt-ˈlāst\
Function: adjective
Date: 1554
Its an accepted variant :-P
Hum .. sounds like Dire Straits for whomever this couple is.
dianne p, thanks for the clue in. Because of your nerdiness, I learnt something!
I'll will always use "strait" properly in future. It's kind of a neat word.
Will & Jada.
