Randy Pausch Revisted

I know that I posted Randy Pausch's last lecture a few months ago, but with his death today, I thought it would be a good time to share it again. If you haven't seen the video, or even if you have, I think it is something that everyone can benefit from repeatedly. I give Oprah a whole bunch of crap, but I will say that she could have pulled the video off of YouTube from her show, but has chosen not to. I appreciate that, and hope that you will take Randy's lessons to heart. RIP Randy, and to his wife and three kids, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Remember -
~ "Dance like no one is watching,
love like you'll never be hurt,
sing like no one is listening,
live like it's heaven on earth,
and fart like you're the only one in the elevator"

  4. Sad news although not unexpected...I watched the lecture on Oprah, and it really was very inspirational, but the whole show she did on death was actually really good.

I hope his wife and kids will be OK.

  10. He was such an inspiring person and so much more left to give to the world. It's just sad his kids didn't have more time to spend with him because he was such an amazing person. My thoughts are with his family.

  12. I think Randy Pausch did something so brave, he took something so horrible his own certain death, and ended up making a difference in how people actually can live better lives, be better people and not waste such a precious give. His children will always know him and always be proud.

  13. @irishstayc2. Interesting, I know it that way:
Dance like no one is watching,
love like you'll never be hurt and
    f**k like you're being filmed. ;-)
