I'm A Little Confused

If I'm a little confused about something related to the gossip world, think about the poor people who only read their gossip in the two week old editions of People or OK! laying around the office of their doctor or dentist.
If I recall correctly, it was just last week that OK! had an entire issue basically devoted to Jennifer Aniston and how she was getting married having a baby, picking out dresses and flowers and cakes for the wedding and how this was an exclusive and blah, blah, blah. Now, as I explained last week, all of the exclusive stuff was crap, but you would think with all the money and contacts that OK! has that they would have seen a John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston breakup coming and so would have changed all the names to Reese and Jake or something like that. I mean the story will work for any couple as long as they don't break up the same week.

So, this week, Jennifer has reportedly been dumped by John Mayer and is heartbroken, unless of course you read the NY Daily News who said that John Mayer was dumped by Jennifer Aniston and that she is already dating someone else.

Uh huh. Well since obviously both of those stories can't be true and an entire issue of a magazine wasn't true, then how about Jen and John broke up because he and Pete Wentz just can't stop f**king while taking turns being Rachel and Ross.

You know what I hate about all of this though? The fact that now we will have a new story every damn week about how Jen has found a new love. Why? What did she do to make us care? I actually liked her dating John because she followed him from city to city and there was no news. Sure, the wedding stories, but it isn't like it will be now. I can't handle Jennifer Aniston "dating" every guy who gets photoshopped into a picture. I just can't. I'm tired of her and don't understand why she is relevant. Someone tell me what she has done since Friends went off the air which was an ensemble show by the way. Tell me what she has done which people have actually gone to see to justify the attention and salary she gets. This has nothing to do with Brangelina. I just want to know when we can stop talking about Jen Aniston. Men don't seem to be too fond of her, her movies are box office poison, she isn't particularly friendly, and yet anyone will throw her on a magazine cover and treat her like American royalty.

  1. There is ONE good rumor attached to this story, that she dumped Mayer because her dog didn't like him. Ha!

  2. I agree! She's so overrated! And not that terribly attractive (I totally don't understand how she constantly wins "best hair" in Hollywood contests). There are so many other, prettier, more talented women out there! Please someone make her go away.

  3. I will disagree with you. Her movies are not box office poison because her movies go on to be the biggest movies to out sell any other DVD sales and rentals. The public loves her, that is why she is called "America's Sweetheart". Men do love her, there was a pool taken asked who men preferred, for a wife or girlfriend, not a shag, and guess who was number 1, yes ,EL, it was Jen Aniston. So what has she done, she makes people feel good, she makes people smile. Not particularly friendly. Has she pissed you off? There are many more out there that would disagree with you. I could list hundreds that hanve met her that would back up her ex husbands comment- "there is not a mean bone in that woman's body" and "she is the warmth that draws the moth to flame in out home" , "she is the center of everyones heart", I could go on. You don't know what you are talking about,so to be fair would you blog what really is behind you bad attitude with Jennifer Aniston, because this is grossly unfair to her. She is admired by women and men for the way she handled being chit all over by Brad. Have you met Jennifer, more than one time, to be fair, do you really know her, because every single person who does that talks about her says she is a sweet sweet soul. Just becasue you salivate after Angelina, as many men do, do you have to slander Jen,not fair. Angelina is beautiful, I get it, but by all accounts Jenis a lovely person, ans you are being an aXX about her -just saying-

  4. She is the poster child for every woman who is terrified her husband will leave her for the younger secretary at work. You know, the tabloid buyers. That's what keeps her relevant. They see themselves in her.

  6. I've never believed it was a relationship from the start. JM needed to move away from the kissing Perez chatter and she needed a relationship to stay in tabs and gossip while B&A were going to be seen all over Cannes and the twins news.

Didn't EL or was it Dlisted that said a few weeks back the "breakup" announcement would be coming shortly after a source revealed Norman didn't like JM?Hahahahaha

She and Owen will probably start "dating".

  7. I'm pretty neutral regarding JA. It seems unlikely that she saw him as serious long-term relationship potential or father of her future children, or whatever. Career- wise, I think she has pretty much probed the upper limits of her talent and appeal and it is time for her to go to Plan B. If she does indeed want to get married and have kids, then she needs to step off the Douche Train.

I think he's a creep--not because of her, just generally. He does that whole pseudo-intellectual thing, says he's looking for "the one," then bangs bimbos and makes them feel bad for not being smart or interesting enough for him. Women need to beware of men like that.

sums John Mayer up perfectly. I like a few of his songs, but not him.

Honestly I've always found her to be a little bland for me. I'm sure she's a nice and wonderful person, but she's never been interesting to me.

And I think that's what Ent is trying to get at. She's boring.

Friends to me was Joey, Monica, and Chandler. Anything else I just tuned out. And I don't care if Aniston's movies do well on video, she's most known for Friends.

  13. why do I get the feeling that JA checks into hotels under the name "Robin"?

  14. You beat me to it, Sara. LOL.

I think the "she's not relevant" comment pretty much sums it up.

  15. I agree with some of you that Jennifer may be nice and sweet but she is boring. I don't see any personality with her. She's like the carrie underwood as far as bland personality goes but without the bitch factor. I'm pretty happy to hear that Jennifer and John have broken up. I think she deserves WAY better than him. He's such a douchebag and gives me creepy vibes.

"Jennifer is just one big throbbing heart to me. Because she's all emotional and feeling and support. She's right there with you. Even if you came to her and said: 'I've accidentally killed someone.' She'd say, 'Honey, it's not your fault. It couldn't have been your fault.' Just that kind of loyal, unconditional support and love is just who she is to me."

    Jim Carrey:
She's very solid and very centered. You look at all magazines you see her in and you just think it's amazing. Before you know her you wonder why are people so interested in this person. They just never seem to get enough of her and then you meet her and you go there's a reason. She's just a very cool centered person. Sometimes when you meet people like that you're disappointed at the reality of them. The idea is always better. Sometimes they're playing an idea and she's just being herself."

    Kevin Costner said:
"Well she's quite good and she's the lead, I'm just a supporting character in this. And she's beautiful and she's working really hard, she's very funny and we got Shirley MacLaine so it's just really fun." "She's a very pretty woman, and very, very talented."
"She's a decent woman. And that's a.. that should minimize how great it is. That's a good thing to say about a very decent person. And that's a quality in which we could all be described and feel good about that."

What some people think, not just of Jen-

  17. George Clooney-

"Whenever you're in trouble you throw it to Jennifer and she makes the lines sing. I would read things in the draft and go, 'Wow, I don't think that works.' And then I'd see Jennifer do it and say, 'All right, I was wrong.'"

    Steven Cojocaru said:

"I've always thought she was amazing because less is more and if your style is minimalist, go with it. This year (2006) was the emancipation of Jennifer! She really sort of came out and there was something fiery about her, and she wore great, sexy clothes."

    Miguel Arteta said:

"She reminds me of Mary Pickford, who, even though she was glamorous, played regular people, seemed very approachable and had an uncanny knack for physical comedy and drama."

"The good thing is, when she came to the set, she really just gave herself to the whole thing. I didn't feel as though we were dealing with a super-celebrity, or anything like that, she was just part of the ensemble."

"[Jake Gyllenhaal and Jennifer] are subtle actors. They're great. They're amazing. That is why you gotta cast Jennifer Aniston in this part. To hear her deliver a line like that. Yeah, she's awesome."

"She had all these funny people around her with funny stuff to do around her, and she's such a comic genius, she could go head to head with you guys. But she was really restrained."

"She's incredibly beautiful, but it's not other-worldly beauty, like a Sharon Stone. She's very relatable."

"She can do great dramatic work. But in a way, The Good Girl is the first role that has a real wide range of emotions all in one movie."

"I was amazed. It was a physical transformation. She's a very happy, animated person in real life. She's the emotional center of the movie."

Lorenzo di Bonaventura (producer of Derailed) said:

    "She's a smooth-working instrument."

    David Cross said:

"I'd say hotter. But she was hotter in a different way than I expected - in a really 'together' way. You forget about how hot a woman can be when she's completely independent and her own person. She's awesome." - when asked, "Is Jennifer Aniston as Hot or Hotter Than You'd Expect in Person?"

    Sheryl Crow said:

"Jen's an amazingly soulful person. She was completely generous in spirit and embracing and loving and compassionate and wise."

"I think what she's had to go through has been kind of demoralizing. To see that we're stooping this low to press so heavily into somebody's personal life and to vilify them, it's discouraging. Yet she handles all of it with an immense amount of grace and compassion. She seems to always be operating from the heart."

    Jason Flemyng said:

"A lot of people who are famous use it as a weapon to intimidate you, so you're never at ease. Brad and Jen know the effect they have, and they negate it as quickly as they can. They couldn't be more generous; there's no status hierarchy at all. Lots of big American actors pretend to be nice, but at some point you're firmly reminded of who they are and you go, `Oh, ****, here we go.` With Jen, it's not like that. She's very proletarian."

"She's a female Brad. Couldn't be more gorgeous, yet utterly without vanity. They took me out a few times in L.A. and, this will sound strange but it was so nice to be around such normal people. We just ate Mexican food and talked nonsense

    Melissa George said:

"I love this girl so much. She was so good to me and she's so beautiful in person. I can't even get over that. When you see her physically, it makes sense. I was just like, 'Yeah, perfect, great casting'

I really appreciated her coming because she raised the profile of tonight's event and that is going to help so much. She didn't have to do this. She didn't have to take time out of her schedule."
"The 24 Hour Plays people approached her and she said yes. But when she found out about Working Playground, she was over the moon. She said, 'I'll do all the press. I'll do whatever you want.'"

Working opposite Vince, Jen gets to flex her comedic muscles, which are formidable, but she also gets to do a lot of dramatic work in the movie. She just knocked it out of the park."

"Had I not gone to the newsstand and seen the tabloids, I would never have known something of that magnitude was going on. She was able to come to work and dig in and just make it a joy every day. Only Jen can speak about her process, but her performance in the movie, when it hits those notes of pain at the end of a relationship, has an immediacy that I was just blown away by."

"When I came on board, Vince was obviously attached, but we had not cast a Brooke yet. He's also 6'5'', so you have to cast someone who can really be a presence in the frame. It takes a tough woman to be able to spar with Vince's rapid delivery on screen, and Jennifer definitely holds her own. I loved the idea of the potential chemistry between these two actors."

"Jennifer just has `it`, if you look at the handful of A-list actors that exist in Hollywood, you realize that the thing they all share, in addition to being beautiful and talented, is this amazing reliability.

When you watch Jennifer, she manages to amaze you and make you feel like she might be your next-door neighbour at the same time, which, when you consider how much money she makes and who she's married to, is pretty incredible."

"It's hard for her not to be cute. She's got a playful sensibility about her. She's very accessible."

"I don't like to use the well-known cliché but Jennifer Aniston is one of the hottest people in the show business. You can count the people, if male or female. Jen's role, Grace, is not passive. She's strong, that's why we wanted Jennifer."

"She was a dream choice. (in Bruce Almighty) You're looking for someone who's beautiful, funny, sexy, intelligent, vulnerable. She's perfect in her naturalness."

Stacey Sher (producer of Along Came Polly) said:

"She has a unique physicality to her. Take her talent for screwball comedy, in the tradition of a Lucille Ball, coupled with how adorable and gorgeous she is, (and that makes for) an irresistible combination. You don't see that often."

    Ben Stiller said:

"Her personality is so wholesome, which is part of her appeal, but she's beautiful too."
"If you spend five minutes with Jennifer, you get that she's funny, beautiful, charming, sweet - all of those things. The sense you get from watching her work is really who she is. It's a great combination: a woman with a great sense of humor who also is attractive. She's also normal while living a life where it's not that easy to have a normal life. I give her credit for that, because it's harder to do that with all the attention that's paid to her and Brad (Pitt) as a couple and what they have to deal with. It's crazy. It's easy for people to lose it. Under the circumstances, she's pretty grounded."

  33. More Ben Stiller-

She's the best. There's no sweeter, warmer, funnier, more talented actress out there."

"I'd say that Jennifer's just, there's so few... How do I say it? I don't want to say that there are so few women who are good at comedy. That sounds like a really sexist thing to say, but she really is one of the few actresses that I know where she has such impeccable timing as a comedienne/ actress, and I don't mean that in a bad way. She really listens and she has timing in terms of knowing. I don't think that it comes out of a premeditated thing. It's just in her bones. She knows when to say it and when to not say anything. She just takes things in and she listens in a way that's very real too, I think. [She has] just incredible timing, which I think is a real gift."

Collier Strong (her makeup artist) said:

"When she comes in before shoots, she looks amazing. There's nothing scary about her in the morning. Her favoured look has long been simple and natural. Even if her make-up looks dramatic, it always leans to the natural side. I want her eyes to really standout because they're so gorgeous."

    Mena Suvari said:

"She's a really wonderful, giving, down-to-earth person. She was so professional. It was such a pleasure working with her. I admire Jennifer for who she is and how she handles her life. She never brought her private life to the set. You would never have know what she was dealing with unless you'd read or heard it somewhere else."

"She's so sweet and beautiful. It was an honor to play her sister. She was very friendly."
    "
Well we're both Greek, which is a shoe-in right there. But you know when we met, it just was really easy. We ended up sharing stories about our past, our childhood and our upbringing, that it just kind of happened. I mean, she has such a warm, down to earth, easygoing personality that you can't help but open yourself up to her."

    Mark Wahlberg said:

"She's an amazing actress. She's everything I wish I could have - that kind of person."

  34. AHHH-Mr Weinstein-lol we all know that name-it has been in the news alot-

    Harvey Weinstein said:

"This is not Rachel from Friends. She challenged herself to be more uninhibited than she's ever been onscreen. This role is very sexual."

"I've known Jennifer personally for 10 years. When I saw how great she was in [2002's] The Good Girl, I wanted to give her the opportunity to stretch. I think this role puts her in the rank of actresses like Charlize and Gwyneth and Reneé and Nicole."

Gucci Westman (make up artist) said:

"She's one of my favourite people to work with, incredibly cool and beautiful. She's a girl that everyone falls in love with - she just has this really charismatic charming way about her."

    Vince-

She has an her extreme emotional intelligence. People could abuse that. But she chooses to use her gifts to make people feel good. She chooses to be kind."

"The thing with Jen is, she's so easy to feel drawn to. She's so genuine and warm, and she has a lightness, a classy ease about it all. You can see why people are so enamored. It's like she's stuffed with Elvis dust. Little kids see her and they don't know she's famous, and they just gravitate to her, they hang on her."

"Jen's always great...you know Jennifer. You won't find anyone more classy, smart or more genuine than Jennifer is. She's just truly just a gracious, good-hearted, bright person. You know, as far as my personal life, I have always just chosen to kind of keep something to myself and not discuss that, that's not really my thing. But I love talking about her as an actress."

    "
Jennifer is really the heart of the movie, like Owen is the heart of the movie in Crashers. If she isn't as good of a straight man, as it would be, in this movie, and then also able to be comedic if it calls for it, but never lose that sense of being real and being a real person taking this journey, the whole movie would falter, so she was really instrumental.

    Good movie-

  35. And last, but the person who knew her best and says he has a lasting friendship with this woman you EL says is nothing-

Brad Pitt said: ( Not all..too long)

"Jen is one of the warmest people I met, we all crowd around her. She's like that fire we all crowd around for warmth. There's not an ill-intentioned bone in that woman's body. She's really extraordinary that way. She brings people together."

"I like being married, and Jen is great. She doesn't even mind me eating ice-cream in bed."

"I never thought being married would make me feel this way. It's an amazing feeling. I look at Jen and think...she's my wife."

"Marriage is great. It's made me feel very good about taking this kind of journey together with a terrific woman who wants to share my life and share the journey with me."
"I like girls like my wife. She's funny, she's a pain, and she makes me laugh.
"She's fantastic, she's complicated, she's wise, she's fair, she has great empathy for others... and she's just so cool."
"She's really extraordinary... she has taught me a lot. She's one of the warmest people I ever met."

"We talk about it all the time. I'm on to it, don't worry. I think Friends is hilarious. I will be sad when that show goes off air. But I cannot wait for everyone else to see things she can do, because that show is just one facet of her talent."

"My wife loves jewellery, and I love my wife. She's always my inspiration. I started doing this because I wanted to make something special for her."

"My wife is cool, very funny, great to be with."
"I can't wait to shave (my beard) off. Jennifer can't kiss me properly."

"What can I tell ya, I love my wife! Listen, it's not that complicated, really. On the phone with my wife, or hanging out with (George Clooney)!"

"I just think it's my favorite movie of the year. I'm a little biased, but I'm also a good critic. So take my word on it. It's subtle. It's delicious. Believe me." - on The Good Girl

    "I laughed, I cried. It's a gem. Trust me -- it's a gem."- on The Good Girl

"[This is] three times for me. It's my favorite movie of the year!" - on The Good Girl

"There aren't many actors I would feel comfortable seeing kiss my wife, and you [Bruce Willis] aren't one of them." - taped message referring to Willis' Emmy Award winning stint on Friends as Jennifer's love interest

"I've always known she was amazing. I don't think anything blossomed in her this year [2002, The Good Girl] that wasn't there already. It just seems the rest of the world is waking up to what has been there all along."

yeah-she is a real bitch, nothing talent, cant imagine what anyone sees in her, hmmm. LMAO

I wonder how much people really know about Jennifer that feel that way. I wold hate to be judged so simply.

  36. Lisa, that is very nice. You know, she's had a ton of success with Friends and couple of her movies, she seems to have close friends who really care about her (I'm not talking about the people you quoted either, I mean her closest friends), and she must have a shitload of money. She has some talent, but I don't think she's any Meryl Streep. Nor do I see her exuding a huge passion for acting or desire to stretch herself. But maybe I'm wrong.

In any case, the point is, she's had plenty of success and surely as much attention as any human being warrants. Given everything you posted about her, I'm sure she's well able to appreciate what she's got and to enjoy the fruits of her labor and maybe be a talented producer or something like that. Not to take away anything from her, but she's had plenty of the spotlight. If she is such a wonderful, down to earth person, surely she won't mind, um, not having it quite so much!

  39. good to know jen herself is smart enough to figure out copy and paste.

i think john mayers blog about how celebrities read everything/all the gossip sites about themselves makes this pretty clear.

whats up, jen? never been this close to a celebrity before.

    now diaf.

  40. I've noticed, lisa l. lai, that every quote or most are from people who have worked with JA professionally -- of course they are going to say wonderful things about her.

And besides, none of us are saying she's a bad person -- just bland and boring in the movies. In person she is probably the best friend you could ever have.

We're just talking about her presence on film.

Oh ... and we "get it" -- i.e., how everyone in the business is in love with her -- except Brad, of course.

  43. I am just making a point- I do not keep a file, it is easy to google. People love Jen, and it is very unfair for EL to post something like this on his blog. I suspect he did it for hits, to get people to debate. Very low imo. Unelss she has crossed him in some way, done something awful to him, very bad. He is trying to influence the public, and why? What is the motive to treat her the way he always does. I am not just a Jen fan, I like her as I do Resse, Julia, and many others, I would stick up for anyone that is treated so unfairly as this. It is just a really crappy thing to do to someone who has already been treated so poorly by the media, and for what. All because they get more mileage out of Jolie. That will not last forever, that bubble will burst and then the next one will come along. Just not nice to treat someone like that when they have not done anything. She has not gone out without her panties, she has not gotten arrested for a DUI, not hit and run, wth is wrong here?

  45. lisa, lisa, lisa, are you wacky?

Nobody points a gun to your head to come here. It's HIS blog and he can say what he wants. If you want a world of Jen compliments 24/7 go stick your head in a copy of OK!

Btw, I am convinced both Aniston and Mayer are gay, and that's totally rad, but that they are using each other for beard duty.

    ReplyDelete
  46. You have to remember that the tabs like to start fictitious stories so this has been about Brangelina vs. Jen. One mag favors the Brangelunatics and the other, I think Janice Min's mag, loves Jen.

They start these tabloid wars for ratings and money. That's all it is.

Otherwise, showing pics of Jen with her latest love interest, taking her dogs out, etc. is pretty boring and pedestrian; things people do in their lives.

But it's Jen and it's going to be -hey -- Jen is wearing socks today! For the tabs, that's a news-worthy day.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ok--so we now know Jen has a stalker.

I bet John Mayer tried peeing on her hair--that would be a big non-no for Jen.

  51. ....peed on her hair one time too many...too funny Adrian!

We all know her publicist and manager work overtime over promoting her. In my opinion, actions talk way louder than words. What exactly has she done? She is not a first rate actress, her movies do fail. I do not feel sorry for her, she brought alot of this upon herself. Same ol' argument, he wanted kids, she wanted her career, he was getting involved in other things besides himself and she stayed involved in herself. Just ask Courtney! As for the quotes from her co-workers what are they going to say, she is a self centered gorgeous bodied person and that's it????

Alot of people do not get her nor her appeal, and she has made that work for her.

    ReplyDelete
  52. looks like enty has a pr person 'up in here'. congratulations, enty. you have arrived.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh yeah, in her very early years (just breaking into acting), she had several roommates who did not have good things to say about her. There were plastic surgery rumors, accenting certain body parts to stick out for attention before interviews and readings, etc, as if that hasn't been done before. I always find it very interesting in the stories before thay were famous. Things are not what they seem with this girl.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Holy Shit...what's up with the uber-fans?
I hate having to scroll past all that comments-section-SPAM.

Jennifer is bland and overrated. She's popular with minivan mom's because she doesn't threaten them.

    Snore.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Lisa/Robin can also tell us what Jen's shit tastes like, after all the time she's obviously spent with her tongue up Jen's hole.

    ReplyDelete
  56. To expand on Sis's comments about roommates, and as a counterpoint to lisa's cheerleading rah-rah, here's my rebuttal, which I too found easily online:

Jennifer Aniston had a nose job and liposuction before she was famous, according to an old friend, Nancy Balbirer, who once shared an apartment with the former Friends star.

Virginia Heffernan's book, "The Underminer: Or, the Best Friend Who Casually Destroys Your Life," featured readers' stories of their own personal underminers; writer/actress Nancy Balbirer talked of a former roommate named "Jane," a fellow then-struggling actress who advised Balbirer to be more "fuckable," stuff chicken cutlets in her bra, and appear "less desperate."

Jane's identity was never revealed, but certain characteristics most certainly were: Jane attended the High School for the Performing Arts, was the daughter of a soap actor and a "plastic surgery victim," had a big nose from her "Greek half," and later, after a nose job and some hardcore weight loss, became a famous sitcom actress on a show about a group of friends living in the Village.

  57. So John Mayer is bi. Maybe Jennifer caught him and Ashley Simpson husband screwing.

  59. And here's another thing, Lisa, please grow a pair of OVARIES, sistah! You do not need to try to prove that JA likes babies and is good with kids. She is a grown woman, and it is her prerogative not to have children if she doesn't want them. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that she is just a person and no one has to like everything about her. That is not what life is about. It is not about sucking up to people and trying to make them like you.

It is not about trying to make yourself perfect so a man (whether it's BP, JM, or just a regular due) doesn't leave you. You don't have to try to make everybody like her.

If everybody likes you, YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. On that note, it's OK if her former roommate doesn't like her.

She has had her time in the sun as the star of a very popular TV show and that time is over. That doesn't make her crappy or worthless. It just means her time to be in the spotlight is perhaps over. She can go enjoy the fruits of her labors or switch to plan B.

    ReplyDelete
  60. So just to clarify, Lisa Lai is Steve Huvane's assistant, right?

    ReplyDelete
  61. LOL...bitchface, your name, and comments, rock.

Lisa, darlin, get a hobby. Or a job.

I agree, I don't care about JA, she is irrelevant. Make a movie or hook up with Courteney Cox and then I'll start paying attention.

BUT, I would rather see press on her, someone who had a career, rather than Kim Kardashian who has done nothing to deserve to be famous and continues to do nothing entertaining or worthwhile. Give me boring old Aniston any day of the week over THAT.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Jennifer Aniston is one of the few celebrities I will not watch for no reason other than she bugs me. Specifically her acting bugs me. I think it's super that she's so well-loved (by Lisa esp.) but I don't love to watch her. I stopped watching Friends after a few years because I was tired of the lot of them. Courtney and Lisa and sometimes Matthew Perry are okay again for me, esp. after Courtney's Dirt turn and Lisa's SHO series but Jennifer leaves me cold. I've wondered for years why she continues to get parts--I don't wish her any ill will, mind you, in fact I wish she'd find a nice Greek boy or some such and settle down and have lots of babies.

I don't get how someone who ostensibly had the sympathies of the entire US of A (esp. given how most commenters want to de-ball any man who commits adultery (Shout out to you, BZAR!)) squandered them so quickly.

She might consider hiring Angie and Brad's PR firm.

Weren't there rumblings about her needing constant attention from the press and that was part of the reason why Brad left her?

If she thinks she's manipulating the press she's deluded.

    Thanks, EL!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Jennifer Aniston is a perpetual victim - whether through her own design or others, that's what she's turned into.

Uninteresting to men, uninteresting to most people, as her box office sucks. The real mystery is why she is still getting rom com's at all.

    ReplyDelete
  64. "while I dont doubt that she is nice, most potheads are, I totally agree with ent that she is irrelevant."

Thanks, Donna. That made me laugh out loud. I, too, don't get it. She's definitely not that great of an actress to receive such attention from the press. Her publicist, manager and agent are, apparently, phenomenal and perhaps Mischa Barton should see if she could hire them.

I would like to see in this tabloids:

    THE PROBLEM IS HER:
WHY JEN CAN NOT HANDLE MEN.
    PROBLEMS WITH HER FATHER
    BRAD'S PHONE CALLS
    WHATEVER

    That would be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  67. OK, thanks Lisa, nice to see that publicists have realized that blogs are places where they can quote-bomb the public.

Of course, all those quotes are about as sincere as your like of JA. Howard Stern used to do this bit about celebrities talking about other celebrities, making them sound like amazing people: "She was such a pleasure to work with, a joy on the set. And, her urine can kill cancer!"

  68. Jen is where Halle Berry was a couple of short years ago -- movie career stalling, turning 40 -- so got a hot model for a boyfriend and had a baby.

  69. I can't believe someone wasted at least an hour of their life that they will never get back looking up quotes about Jen Aniston.
    Unbelievable~!

Of course if I were getting paid $100 bucks an hour I might have a go at it too.

  70. lisa.. i started scrolling totally prepared to say a little line of defense in jen`s honor... i agree with most that she leaves a taste of cardboard in my mouth, but it`s not to say she deserves to be ripped apart... she`s a sucessful actress, all the power to her. She spent several years banging Brad... I gotta say i`m a little jealous!!!
But after scrolling thru your random display of ass-licking, i gotta say i dont feel so sorry for her anymore... she obviously can cure her own depression over whatever the new days bring her by calling up one of her past co-stars, or get a huge dose of ass-kissing from cyber-stalkers such as urself.... Thanks for making me hate jen aniston.
