Julianne Hough Found A Sucker

It took long enough and she had to search the world over, but Julianne Hough finally found someone who fell for her. Sure, she had to move her way down the ladder, but when she found a guy willing to do what she wanted, when she wanted, and to make sure she was well provided for, she took him. The unlucky guy is Chuck Wicks, who is a pretty good country singer. The pair met on a tour with Brad Paisley. Although Chuck had just broken up with his girlfriend, even if he hadn't, it probably wouldn't have stopped Julianne.

The one sticking point I see here is that Chuck is still on tour while Julianne had to go back to DWTS, which means that Chuck better hope Julianne's partner is not wealthier than Chuck, or Chuck will be singing those rosie palm blues. Of course if you believe anything Julianne says, which I don't, she is also a woman who intends to remain a virgin until she gets married. Uh huh.

Now you might be a fan of DWTS, and I encourage your fandom. This has nothing to do with the show, but rather just how, in my opinion, most of the dancers seem to think of this as their own personal meat market where they can move up the ladder from a nobody, to the girlfriend of a D lister, and then hopefully B, and then A. Oh, and it isn't just the women dancers on the show, the male dancers do it too. If they are given the opportunity, they are just as blood thirsty as the women.

  3. So Dancers are social climbers like most people in this world. Who'd have thunk it?

It must be annoying for the pro dancers. They train everyday for decades, and then some nobody d-lister comes in and suddenly the celeb is famous for doing what the pro has done for years.
    Just saying.
And, no, I can't watch the show either. It's just another show that is cheap to produce and brings in a TON of money, so we'll be seeing shows like this for awhile.

  7. Good point, p m.

I'm surprised she didn't snag herself some older guy with a lot more $$$. But then again, she probably couldn't stand to have to lick saggy balls, so she settled for cute and semi-famous.

  8. This sounds like confirmation of the guess for a recent BI.

  9. I agree, I think the answer to the BI has been confirmed. She was always one of the top guesses anyway. Her and her brother are cut from the same mold.

  11. I didn't think Julianne was going to be on DWTS this season? I saw Chuck and Julianne in concert on Saturday and I thought she said she'd be on the road for the next few months? Maybe I heard wrong.

  12. Yeah, I don't really get this one Ent- what's your grudge against Julianne? Because didn't that racing guy- Helio I think- have a big thing for her and supposedly was buying her expensive gifts and so forth? He's probably pretty wealthy, if she was such a gold digger why'd she turn that down? I remember reading about that here, because you were giving her some trouble for accepting the gifts or encouraging him or something. So this is just confusing.

I'm with Molly, this is the only place I'm ever seeing this kind of stuff.

  13. It's been a few years since I've seen her, but I know Julianne. She lived in the same North Idaho area that I did. It's a small town atmosphere, where everyone knows everyone else's kids and what they're up to.

She was always a real sweetheart and I can't imagine that she'd change that drastically! I also doubt her folks would let her get away with that kind of behavior. She sure wasn't raised that way.

So, yeah, Enty, what's your beef?

  14. PM - Julianne is a pro. She's been dancing since she was 3 and competing since she was 9. According to Wiki she "became the youngest dancer, and only American, to win both the prestigious titles of Junior Blackpool World Latin Champion and International Latin Youth Champion" She may not be on Broadway, but she's worked w/ Gwen Stefani. I'd say she qualifies as a pro.

And she may want to climb the social ladder, but who in show business doesn't?
