Which supposedly squeaky-clean starlet was a big fan of some pretty hardcore drugs back in college? Her favorite tagline is, "Wow, the drugs in Hollywood are so much better than what we used to get." Of course, all the evidence of her hard partying has been erased. Once she hit the big time a couple of years back, her publicist made the rounds of her pals and bought up all the photo evidence of her former fun.

ReplyDeleteI agree. Steven Huvane is her publicist -- he has the good sense and forethought to do something like that (especially because she was in such family-friendly fare back then.) Now THAT is a good publicist.

How about Natalie Portman. She's also another starlet who went to college. A friend who recently attended a Harvard Alumni function saw her drunk off her ass being held up by her boyfriend.
ReplyDeleteAnne Hathaway transferred to NYU that seems so unlikely that there is not good drugs in NY, my friend gets good stuff out there....
ReplyDeleteAnne hit the big time more than a couple of years back though. Kids or no kids, you probably heard of The Princess Diaries (2001) and has a steady resume since then. Although, the Devil Wears Prada was probably after college... hmmm.

What about Kristen Bell? She went to Tisch and I heard from someone who went there with her that she was a partier. Doesn't make me any less of a fan, but I think she's a possible match for this one.

ReplyDeletehave to agree with you guys, my first thought was anne hathaway, as I just read something that she smokes cigs .. and that her "people" really didnt want the public to know .. imagine what else we dont know .. like that it wasnt her that turned her b/f in, it was HIS assistant .. yeah okay ..
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like someone that was never around Hollywood until AFTER college, doesn't it? If you were famous when you were 12 wouldn't you have already had access to the "good stuff"?

ReplyDeleteNatalie Portman has openly admitted that she wanted to try new things while in college, including drinking and drug taking. I don't think this is her.
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be Jenifer Garner-- she went to a tiny liberal arts college in noplace Ohio (as mentioned above). She was rumored to be a bitch then and certainly miles away from Hollywood or any other major city (unless Cleveland counts!).

ReplyDeleteWhen I think *starlet*, I don't exactly think of ladies in their thirties like Garner or Linney. I think of young actresses in their late teens or early twenties.

I'm torn... I want it to be Hathaway, but I think Kristen Bell is a better fit.
Sorry, with Hathaway and Portman, I meant to say that they probably would have been image conscious enough not to have their photo repeatedly taken doing embarrassing things. There are a lot of stupid people out there, but they seem fairly mature, regardless of the substances they may enjoy in private.
