Oh to be 16 again. Can you remember being 16 and full of energy and hormones?
I can’t but it probably was pretty fun. For the female readers out there, do you recall being 16 and so madly in love with an older guy that you eat sleep and breathe him?
It’s a pretty great feeling to want to the whole world to know how much you like this guy even though he’s a little older than you.
Well imagine poor Miley’s reaction upon reading this:
Miley Cyrus has been spotted everywhere recently with model and aspiring singer Justin Gaston, but the 20-year-old former “Nashville Star” contestant denies having a relationship with the 15-year-old Disney star.“Oh, just family friend, you know,” Gaston said at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night.“I met Billy Ray on the show and just became friends with the whole family. And they’re such a great family,” Gaston continued. “I moved (to LA) two years ago and started a modeling career and that’s kind of just to break into the music business and everything.”
Ouch, that’s gotta hurt.
Well after seeing them both wearing rings at the awards show this does seem a bit suspect.

So is it truth? Fauxmance? Publicity? Trying to anger the mouse?
There are just too many juicy possibilities to choose from with them. I think I've decided that Miley's covering for Justin joining her parents in a jolly threesome.

Yeah I think they're just deflecting, too. Even if I were Miley and knew that it was just deflecting...I'd probably still be hurt.

I gotta agree on the downplaying. We all saw the pictures of her licking her lips while he was modeling. I would think he is trying to avoid statutory rape charges.

...But the more I think about those comments from Justin, the more he sounds like one of those guys who sleeps with a girl, but doesn't want his friends to know he's sleeping with her. You know those guys? Usually, it's because the girls aren't attractive or are slutty/sleazy, and he doesn't want to "ruin" his rep, in case someone "better" comes along. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteWell, if he did admit that they are having sex, he might go to jail. hence the promise rings - "oh, no, I'm not banging her, we're BOTH VIRGINS!!! - So I think it's a deflection, but I get the feeling that he wasn't supposed to say all that stuff about breaking into the music industry. I mean, he already looked like a dickwad, but now, it's official.

ReplyDeleteAt 16 I was obliviously crushing on an obviously gay boy. He's so sensitive, and he dresses great and his hair is nice and he's soooooo sweet! Some of the older and experienced girls tried to explain it to me but I didn't get it until I was in college. Apparently he was out and proud in high school but didn't want to hurt my feelings.
Billy Ray is trash as is anyone who pimps their children to maintain a lavish lifestyle. There's a special place in hell for Disney parents.
More like trying to appease the mouse. It's about her rep, not his. After the photos scandal, the last thing their star tweener needs is a published confirmation that she's with a 20 year old.
