Today's Blind Items
This aging, but not old, former B list television actress from a very hit television show and sometime film actress from some very forgettable films is someone with B+ name recognition and a career that has had lots of stops and starts. One thing has been holding her back for years. She thought she found a way to solve the problem but it didn't work. She has always had an alcohol problem but now she has discovered a new best friend called meth. Her habit has got so bad that she cannot always wait for her dealer to come to her. Several times she has had to actually go out in her very conspicuous car and go make buys herself.

Y'all are listing some A List name recognitions, like Courtney Cox, and Heather Locklear. I would definitely think B List name recognition is more Kim Delaney, etc.

ReplyDeleteKim Delaney fits "b" list and she has had a known alcohol problem, but she is not a "former" b list tv actress who sometimes does forgettable films. She is still doing tv ("army wives"). Although her list of films (not many) are all forgettable.
ReplyDeleteYeah the conspicuous car has to be a clue...but the only person I can think of is Angelyne. (LA known "celebrity" who drives around in her pink cadillac and has her own billboard, don't know what she actually DOES so I know it's not her)

ReplyDeleteTeri Polo a def. no. no hit tv shows, and her films were certainly NOT FORGETTABLE--"Meet the Parents".
Courtney Cox's problem in the past was cocaine not alcohol. The clue here is very conspicuous car. I thought of Kristen Davis too, but there are lots of drunks in Hollywood. I just hope she's not drunk while driving around in the conspicuous car.

ReplyDeleteSo, I'm saying it's Heather. Her conspicuous car is the one she was pulled over in recently. We saw plenty pics of that car which would make it insane of her to take it out to buy drugs.
It can't be Lisa Kudrow, she was A-list, or at least while Friends was on. She's also busy with some internet show right now.

I don't think it's her either, though. She was A-list while her show was on at least.
It can't be Heather Locklear. While it's debateable whether she's A list or B list, she definitely has A list name recognition. Also, she's been on more than one hit television show and the blind item says this actress has only had one hit show.
ReplyDeleteWhen Locklear was arrested, they drug tested her and found no evidence of illegal drugs, so I find it hard to believe she's on meth, unless she just started it a few days ago. The blind item makes it sound like this actress has a big problem though, if she has to go out and get it herself.
Also, the blind doesn't say she's not involved in a television series right now, just that her big hit show was in the past.
Instead of Rolls or Corvette, what about an itty bitty hybrid? Has Pam or Courtney gone green?

JJ--I would think that TV includes cable (HBO)...also as someone else pointed out, I agree that the VERY conspicuous car is really the clue and I think "the world’s first hydrogen-powered car" would be very conspicuous...

ReplyDeleteLocklear, Anderson, Cox and Aniston have all been A list at some point -- either career-wise or in terms of name recognition.
Kudrow, who I think is a very reasonable guess, was never as famous as the other two, but I would still ultimately call her A list.
I like the Alyssa Milano guess, but the car sold me on Hatcher. It would totally explain her disgustingly thin figure and her absolutely wonky face. She needed all that work to attempt to cover up the ravages of drug abuse and time.
It can't be Teri Hatcher; it says former B-list television actress. She's still on DH, and most would consider her B-list overall, but A-list for TV. I also have a hard time believing she has ever had a drinking problem.

ReplyDeleteShe had a hit TV show, Will and Grace and she was in a couple forgettable movies. Her career has stalled more than once and now she's back on TV in a B-List TV show.
Plus, she's looking super skinny these days.

ReplyDeleteYesterday Heather Locklear got a "midemeanor driving under the influence, citing prescription drugs" & ruled out alcohol. I'm leaning in her direction on this one. Yeah, I know meth isn't a Rx but I figure the police in Montecito aren't going to say she was on meth even if she was....
But Heather did “T.J. Hooker,” “Dynasty,” “Melrose Place” and “Spin City” so I guess maybe she doesn't quite fit this one... back to the drawing board...

And don't forget, she was pulled over recently while under the influence and it's rumored that she was in rehab last summer, too.

Meth is NOT a prescription drug. And she even had prescriptions for the drugs in her system, which is why she got charged with driving under the influence, but not illegal drug use.
Also, she was in rehab for depression, not drugs or alcohol.
