Today's Blind Items
I don't even know why I am making this a blind item, so I will make it as obvious as possible. This foreign born B+ film actress with A+ name recognition and her producer/director husband have called it quits. They have been trying to make a go of it for her daughter, but it just is not working at all. They are not trying to hide it, but they haven't taken the time to announce it either.

ReplyDeleteKate Beckinsale is resolutely B, so I'll go with her. I thought it was odd that her producer/director husband didn't cast her in the most recent Underworld movie.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny because I read a recent interview with her in Allure talking about how strong their relationship is and how her ex-husband spends the holidays with them because they will do anything for her daughter. It all sounded like BS.

ReplyDeleteI read somewhere he wanted kids of his own, and she really didn't want to get pregnant again...she had an awful time shedding the weight....
ReplyDeleteThen adopt or hire a surrogate. She's a rich celebrity. Not wanting to be pregnant shouldn't stop her from having more kids.

ReplyDeletebut wouldn't winslet be B+ because she never won an oscar? she's more than 'B' because she's won so many other awards, and she certainly has A name recognition (i'm not convinced beckinsale does). plus, kate w. has a daughter (with her former husband), too.

ReplyDeleteHowever, I just checked imdb, and she has a son with Mendes. I'm on the fence.
Winslet has a daughter, Mia, with her previous husband. She and Sam Mendes have a son together. The wording of this blind does not exclude Winslet, except that I think she is more than a B+ actress.

I'm going with Kate Winslet. She has A list name recognition from Titanic, but in the Hollywood hierachy she is more like a B lister because she does not command any money. Jennifer Lopez is paid more money than Kate Winslet.
