Today's Blind Items
Uh oh. It's decision time. What will our A-/B+ movie actor do? Will he choose the barely a celebrity friend or will he choose his A list actress friend? While the barely a celebrity celebrity friend doesn't mind sharing, it seems that our A list actress does. She doesn't want the bad publicity that the barely a celebrity friend brings and have it damage her A list career or squeaky clean image. Oh, and she especially doesn't want to have to answer questions or be ridiculed if certain pictures ever see the light of day.

That was my first thought Reese, Jake and Austin! Poor Jake, he really shouldn't do this to himself, it's only a career, I'm sure he has enough money to retire. I'm shocked the Church of Scientology hasn't knocked on his door come to think of it, I mean don't they do that recruit the gay actors?! Tom mustn't be too sure of Jake's sexuality or maybe (I'm feeling darn right silly now) maybe Tom loves Jake and that's why he's not having Jake in the COS. Wild imagination!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I kind of hope that Austin has some pictures or some cards or letters. I don't think he'd intentially (sp?) want to hurt Reese but if he were jilted by Jake for his beard he might be a little ticked off. He could ruin careers very easily but of course he'd also ruin his own career and life.

ReplyDeleteCO$ prays on those with a weakness, need, desire or emptiness. Jake may be/is gay, and they may have sniffed around him; however i doubt he would ever go down that route (remember ScarJo famously declined).
It's not just their decision on what happens, but the decision of their PR team/people. Also a factor is the influence of those in Hollywood with power/money invested or potentially invested.
They would have been set up, not just decided to scam everyone their selves. Freedom or choice seems like a huge sacrifice for what these actors get.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it was an accident the Jake and Austin biking pics came out when Reese pulled her latest fast one in Elle, talking about her "bf" Jake. Reese has had 2 years of parading him around trying to pass him off as a bf, getting back at Ryan, making it look like she's desirable and as non-post-divorce Aniston pathetic as possible by tabloid dating a younger hottie. Two years of photo ops, PR plants in People, US and OK and a sly editorial in Vogue, all while Jake hasn't said a word. This last Elle "bf" comment, maybe Jake got fed up. Made sure pics of him and Austin biking got out. He has a love life of his own, maybe after 2 years it's time Reese found hers instead of using him to enhance her tabloid image.

ReplyDeletePookie - The 'bad publicity' is the fact that he's a man that many think to be Jake's BF (photos of them together are going to be sought after and published on most gossip sites/papers because of this). The damage would be for everyone to know she's in on the sham. She will get slated for not only dating a gay guy, but for letting him have a relationship with her children, knowing full well that Jake will not be their future step-dad (lying to kids is oh so very low - and she is meant to be the perfect mom).

ReplyDeletePics don't have to be sexual or skanky for Reese to be ridiculed. The pics could be of Reese standing by while the boys are in an obvious romantic embrace. Pics like that done during personal time would be one thing but taken during a "Reese & Jake Are In Love!" photo shoot would be hilarious. Or it could be pics of the boys with their (rumored) child (from an egg donor and surrogate) and Reese playing the happy aunt. Any of those would cause people to ridicule Reese's claim that Jake is her boyfriend. She would have a lot of questions to answer.
I can't even imagine the logistics of keeping something like that a secret when you're famous.

ReplyDeleteWhereas Jake Gyllenhaal, most people would agree, falls under the category of Hot (I honestly don't understand how he and his beastly sister come from the same gene pool), and she looks like Generic McSoccermom from Cleveland or something.
They're both furthering their careers -- Reese gets to be romantically "involved" with another beefcake dude (with actual talent) after Ryan, and Jake is "romantically" involved with a girl who's considerably cleaner and more grown-up than Kiki Dunst -- which is all very well and good, but I still think Jake hears the Call of the Dong.
He and Reese will break up by the summer. I have a feeling.

Anyone else think it was odd that Reese just spoke to that magazine about how much the divorce hurt? Why now? I thought she might be making a covert explanation for the bearding activity (since its such an openly mocked relationship). Maybe she really been a wreck all this time and just did not want to date. Some people dont heal quickly.

He said that he had had a girlfriend in the past and that he WANTED to marry his boyfriend and was planning on having a child with him. He never said they were already married or that the child was already born.

But back to the point, Ted has never said oh yeah, this Baby Toothy Tile's ON earth crawling around. It could be anything from talked about (adoption or surrogacy) to conception and all else in between.
Austin is the bio sperm dad to sister Maggie's baby. Peter S. is not the Dad. That makes Jake the uncle and the baby one effed up person in the future-or so I heard.
