Today's Blind Items - From The Accountant

It is that time of the year. Tax time. And with tax time comes lots of stories from the accountant about how celebrities are spending their money, and on whom.

This B-/C+ actor is the co-star of a very highly rated, long running network drama. He has been on the entire run of the show. Anyway, in 2008, our actor bought not one, not, two, but three sets of fake breasts for women I guess he was dating. Besides breasts he also paid for several other procedures, putting his plastic surgery total from last year at about $65,000, none of which was apparently spent on him.

  2. No, no, no. We don't do "first" here. That's over at TMZ, home of people who can't tell the difference between "loose" and "lose".

    ReplyDelete
  3. Oh, hell no. If you start that shit, I will hunt you down and bitch slap you. I mean it.

    ReplyDelete
  4. LOL, at least he/she caught on quick.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Sam Waterston

and secretary i've been coming here for years i was just in the mood. kindly, get over it. i could get very mean but i won't.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Haha, yeah, that was a fast delete.

Christopher Meloni is married. I think Enty would've mentioned if the guy were cheating on a wife.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Who is this guy and where can I contact him. I can use some surgeon's services.

    ReplyDelete
  8. or your and you're or too to two or their and there

    ReplyDelete
  9. The "Law and Order's" are always in my head when "long running network drama" is mentioned. But would "cop" or "police" show be given as a clue in that case? And then that makes me think of CSI, and maybe David Caruso?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sam Waterson is also married.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Next time you're "in the mood," head on over to Perez, you'll fit in quite nicely there.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Keep in mind, it says "co-star". David Caruso is, unfortunately, the star of that show.

    ReplyDelete
  13. who me? who is perez? am i getting ganged up on?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well he seems to be a decent, kinda, sorta fellow.........

On the other hand, it could be construed to mean someone who isn't satisfied with normal women and has to mold them into something fake. Hmmmmm. Very Hollyweird!

Did he get a group discount????

    ReplyDelete
  15. "am i getting ganged up on?"

Yes, because you just committed one of the most heinous internet faux-pas. But I appreciate the quick delete.

    ReplyDelete
  16. David Caruso's co star--Adam Rodriguez.

    ReplyDelete
  17. George Eads? Co-stars on CSI, which has been running for 9 years and has very high ratings. He's not married, either.

    ReplyDelete
  18. i was thinking jon cryer or sheen?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Just a stab, but how about Noah Wyle?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Can't be Jon Cryer or Charlie Sheen. Two and a Half Men is a comedy.

    ReplyDelete
  21. nm... didnt realize cryer was married. wouldnt put it past sheen tho!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Noah Wyle is the first listed on the ER IMDb webpage. That makes him the star, now at least.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Christopher Meloni came immediately to mind.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I thought of Gary Dourdan of CSI, but he left the show early this season. He's got a real party reputation.

Someone from Without a Trace, NCIS, or the CSI shows.

The Law & Order shows have been dropping in the ratings the past few years. Plus they tend to rotate their actors. OOOH... how about Richard Belzer, aka Munch.
The last line of the clue kinda hints at the actor could use a little help himself.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wylie is married. Eads is, supposedly, a "confirmed bachelor." What about D'Onofrio from L&O CI? He's supposed to be a quirky guy and he isn't married.

    ReplyDelete
  26. This could kind of double as a "kindness" blind. Who is this guy..I could use a little more help myself!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I am on the George Eads guess.
Very highly rated and on since the beginning. Was Meloni on sinc ethe beginning? And didn't Noah Wyle leave ER for a while? Besides, isn't he the answer to some of the kindnesses?

    (not first!)
    :-P

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ooh, Pamela, I like the Keifer guess.

    ReplyDelete
  29. How about Julian McMahon from Nip/tuck?? Would be rather fitting if you ask me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. But Kiefer is A list TV wise and he is the star of the show, not co star. I will also throw my hat into the ring on wanting to get some of that free work done by this Hollywood humanitarian. 65k? That's a lot of titties. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. did we ever get an answer to the one last year, about the actor who was donating to the KKK or Aryan Nation or something like that?

    ReplyDelete
  32. NOT Christopher Meloni - the lead and married.

NOT Keifer - lead of the show.

    NOT Belzer - he's married.

NOT D'Onofrio - hasn't been on the whole run of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  33. OOOhhh I like the Nip/Tuck guess

    ReplyDelete
  34. FX isn't a network station.

I wanna say Alex Rodriguez, since George Eads is a "confirmed bachelor", but is 6 seasons really that long of a run?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wish I could get rid of some...

    ReplyDelete
  36. It just occurred to me, please tell me that the guy tried to deduct the $65G as "pr expenses." :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Haha, that's awesome, Mooshki.

    ReplyDelete
  38. What about someone from Desperate Housewives James Denton perhaps?

    ReplyDelete
  39. george eads is allegedly gay...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Has Desperate Housewives been on long enough to be considered "long running?"

Both of my guesses were shot down earlier, I got nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Can someone tell me why he would list this on his tax return? Surely it can't be a deduction! And I don't believe he could claim these medical expenses on his taxes unless they were for himself or a dependant. Sounds a bit strange.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It seems that many of these are dramas and I usually watch comedies, so it's tough to think of names. Long running makes me think of the L&O family of shows, CSI (maybe just the original to fit long running). How long have NCIS and Without a Trace been on?
ER really fits the description well, but many have not be on the entire run and I just don't see this as Noah Wyle(and he did miss portions of the last 2-3 seasons). Well, maybe my rambling is enough to spark an idea from someone else....

    ReplyDelete
  43. Bxrlvr, maybe he was trying to claim them as a charitable donation :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ice-T on Law & Order? Maybe Coco had a bunch of booby ops this year.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Nah, c, it's "for women I guess he was dating". But it could mean he is married. Obviously from a show that has a rotating roster.

Who have we seen walking around with multiple titties on his arms?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Could it be Hill Harper (CSI NY)? I know he isn't married, but we really never hear anything about his personal life other than that some of his female friends in the business have some unfortunate reputations (*cough* Gabrielle Union). I've always suspected he had a Captain Save-a-Ho complex b/c of that, but that theory doesn't fit with buying boobs.

    ReplyDelete
  47. C, Ice T is a great guess! I can def see him doing this for friends, family, whoever.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The comment about not spending the plastic surgery bucks on himself makes me think this isn't the hottest looking guy around, which would eliminate a lot of guesses. I was going to say Richard Beltzer, but I see where somebody else says he's married. Noah Wiley left ER for a few seasons. I don't watch L&O or CSI, so I can't think of anyone who has been with a show since its inceptions.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Bxrlvr,

Celebs don't necessarily do all the ground work for their income tax preparation. As a matter of fact, I think it's likely most of the big stars just pull out a credit card, and someone on staff actually makes sure the bills get paid and some bookkeeping is done. So the accountant may have seen these expenses at any time during the year, but just has to eliminate them in preparing income tax returns.

OR, some clerical person seeing a doctor's name/facility's name on the checks, thought these were legit medical ezpenses, and the tax prep person had to dig for details to verify/eliminate.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Since when could you write off a boob job on your taxes???? Otherwise, why else would the accountant need to know this aside from paying the bills????

    ReplyDelete
  51. It can't be IceT he has not been on L&O-SVU the entire time. I think he missed the 1st season.
    I think Belzer's married to a woman
    who did porn.

    I say Michael Weatherly NCIS

    ReplyDelete
  52. "most heinous internet faux-pas."

Can someone fill me in what that is exactly? I am clueless and now, chicken shit about stepping in the same do-do :/

    ReplyDelete
  53. Grace,

I think a boob job is a deductible medical expense for a cancer/mastectomy patient.

A former IRS agent I knew years ago worked on the audit of a stripper. She deducted her boob job the year she had it done, but the IRS made her depreciate it.

I'm sure plenty of celebrities at least try to deduct their cosmetic procedures. Maintaining their looks could certainly be argued as necessary for their employment.

    ReplyDelete
  54. mygeorgie,

I can only assume it's the "first!" post for the first post.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yep, calling "first" is so 2006. :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Whole_lotto: Really? All that hoopla for saying "First"? Why isn't there a slam for "long time lurker, first time poster"? THAT drives me crazy. Like announcing your bra size before posting.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks for the heads up though! Fair Warning :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. I like the Michael Weatherly guess. What about someone from House? Or Bones? Trying to think of a different drama here. . .

    ReplyDelete
  59. 'All that hoopla for saying "First"?'

I was being melodramatic. :) It's like mold - once it gets a toehold, you'll never be completely free of it.

    ReplyDelete
  60. No worries, I like me some melodrama. Keeps shit interesting Dahhhlings.

    Melodrama>drama

    ReplyDelete
  61. Melodrama's my favorite thing after hyperbole.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Omar from House? he's been there the whole time right?

    ReplyDelete
  63. See, I wonder about the etiquette involved. For example, how many times does someone have to go out him before getting approved for the procedure? Also does he decide the cup size, or does the recipient have input?

Or maybe it's something he uses as an icebreaker on the first date. "Nice to meet you. What's your bra size?"

    ReplyDelete
  64. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Mooshki... who died and left YOU in charge. Very presumptuous of you to decide what can and can't be done here. Personally, I'd like to rip the face off everyone who answers Affleck as some sort of supposedly humorous response. But I've learned to live with it.

    Get over yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hi, Molly, we were wondering what user name you'd pick next.

I never claimed to be in charge of anything. "Firsters" are hated by 99.9% of non-trolls on the internet. I read it on Wikipedia, so it must be true.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I kept thinking ER too. That's about the longest running show.

    ReplyDelete
  68. If Mooshki volunteers to move in and take care of the "First" situation, it's just our version of Neighborhood Watch. You have to be constantly on the lookout and stamp out trouble before it starts. Self-policing. I'm sleeping better knowing our blog is safe from that moronic crap, which would send me seriously over the edge.

I also like the NCIS / Michael Weatherly guess. something about that face.......
but I love the show, I make an effort to watch it. That and The Mentalist. Simon Baker is my tv boyfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Could be Bill Petersen,I think the clue is 'has been' on the show for the whole run. He just recently quit.Sure he's married, did that ever stop an aging star from dating?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Entropy, if you've ever *tried* to read Perez Hilton, you'll know how quick a series of "FIRST!" posts can make a blog utterly unreadable. I gave it up a year ago or so for that very reason.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Last!

    (LOL)

Gonna jump on me, too, Mooshki? Get a sense of humor.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Okay, it's my favourite show but I'm also on the MW/NCIS guess. He popped into my mind immediately but I was trying to deny it.

Secondly, you'll find that the majority of us will stand behind Mooshki. Just as ms snarky said it's self-policing. If it's a problem, guess what? You don't have to read the comments. Also, as far as the Affleck goes, I know he's our site mascot, but I agree with you, yes it does get annoying. However, I think you'll notice that it has toned down alot. Try reading the other two sites listed above and see how many posts you have to go through before you find one that DOESN'T have "FIRST!1!!!1" about 10 times.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Also, Moos wasn't even the FIRST person to bring it up. Re-read the comments!

    ReplyDelete
  74. eades allegedly gay. dream come true

    ReplyDelete
  75. Babs, (Molly 36.0?)

"If you start that shit, I will hunt you down and bitch slap you. I mean it."

You didn't see any humor in that? Let me give you a hint: it isn't actually possible for me to hunt anyone down.

I found this explanation on a public speaking site, maybe it'll clear things up:

"A fun way to add humor to your speech is to exaggerate certain parts of your presentation. When using exaggeration in your presentation you are basically doing a caricature of words. By using these words you "paint" a picture to the audience that helps them focus on what you are presenting to them. The way to use exaggeration is to inflate or deflate whatever you are talking about so much that it is obviously an exaggeration."

Just as I know that your use of "Last!" was a joke, meant to make a point.

    ReplyDelete
  76. The thing is too, that the "first!" posts appear on sites that get a whole lot more comments than CDAN. So you'll see people post "FIRST" when they are actually "NUMBER 32!!!". There is no need for that kind of contest here. On PH, the same people who do it are also the ones that spend a lot of time bashing Perez for being - and I quote - a "fudgepacker". Huh.

I don't read PH anymore, I completely stopped doing that after the Natasha Richardson thing when he was blaming everyone else for having the wrong information on his page, when he was just quoting other sources as well. But even before that, I stayed far, far away from the comments section because it was just a rampant display of racism, homophobia, attention whoring and plain ol' stupidity.
One of the main reasons to like CDAN is the fact that there is real, funny, and, for the most part, intelligent discussion going on here. Can we try to keep it that way? Please?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Sheesh, all this hostility.

William Peterson quit, so it's not him. This person has to be on the whole run of the show.

These are the ones who fit the clues best:
Michael Weatherly from NCIS (6 seasons)
Alex Rodriguez from CSI: Miami (7 seaons)

Too bad George Eads is a confirmed bachelor, because he'd be perfect. CSI's ratings are way better than any of these other shows. Maybe it's Eric Szmanda? Or is he gay too?

    ReplyDelete
  78. 34C - I didn't know we were supposed to do this. Wouldn't you just roll that into your regular medical deductions? You would need a serious audit to find it there. At least, that's what I would do. I mean, seriously, it's medical, he paid, it has to go somewhere! Right?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  79. It's not a chartible donation. I'm thinking it's adjusted for INFLATION (sorry about the pun).

    ReplyDelete
  80. @ mooshki - Oooooh, I get it! It's like a joke, right? I get jokes!

    This is clearly Affleck.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I have no idea who the boob man is, but I am definitely curious to know if The Accountant became aware of these expenditures as the result of an inquiry with respect to their deductibility and/or gift tax consequences. But since Enty opened the door and in honor of it being April 15th and all, I thought I'd throw this out: In the early '80s I was doing the tax return of a rock band when the lead quite seriously inquired as to whether monies the band had paid to prostitutes while they were on the road would be tax deductible. (Answer: No) Sometimes the questions are even more revealing than the answers. I'd never seen them in concert and my first thought at the time was, "Wow, these guys must not be any good if they don't have groupies!"

    ReplyDelete
  82. Tax Lawyer...no groupies. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Babs is Babs and was never Molly, whoever the hell that was.

I'm all about the humor, too, Mooshki, but sometimes it feels like you're trying to be the room mother.

'Nuff said. Still "LAST". Still a joke. Ha.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I'd so let Micheal Weatherly get my boobies done.

Could Mark Harmon be the specialist to give a second opinion on cup size? PLEASE????

    ReplyDelete
  85. "...sometimes it feels like you're trying to be the room mother."

Sometimes I am. I've seen so many web communities fall apart, I can't bear to see it happen to CDaN. I know I make mistakes, but I really do just want this to be an enjoyable and intelligent hangout. I don't think that I have any special right to tell people what to do here, but I do have a responsibility to myself to do what I think is right. I care too much to stay silent.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Moosh. (Can I call you Moosh?) That's cool. I'm not a hater, and I truly enjoy this site and the comments contained herein. Sometimes they're stupid, sometimes they're truly brilliant, but they are always entertaining. I get your concern, and appreciate your devotion.

Didn't mean to stir up a shitstorm. Friends?

    ReplyDelete
  87. So have we decided? I don't think it is Eric Delko.

    ReplyDelete
  88. This is absolutely not Michael Weatherly.

    ReplyDelete
  89. mooshki just beat the rest of us to it. be glad it was her and not a couple of others i could name! =)

  90. 38D

    @ _-_=_ "34C"

    Awesome! It's catchy, non?

Speaking of 'putting it all out there', I'm watching Dog & Beth as I catch up here.....Yowza! If I had breasts like that I wouldn't bother putting on make-up.

Sorry, I digress. And I apologize for asking the question about "first". Shit disturbers eh?What a whirlwind!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hee, yes, you can call me Moosh. :) How I do love a happy ending!

    ReplyDelete
  92. son of a! my whole reply got lost?

so first point: csi has been on for 9 years. george eads is their main male star now next to lawrence fishburne (damn stunt casting). although he's "gay" and a "confirmed bachelor" he does use hot babes for events and i could see why some of them feel the need to enhance themselves to stand next to him. the man is delicious!

also, boobs/nose/other cosmetic work IS deductible, DEPENDING on your type of business. exotic dancing, escorting, glamour modeling, etc... they all get them exempted on their forms cuz it is a huge write off and considered a business investment. also, depending on which type of pr work you do, you could get some kind of cut back. i know a TON of chicks who've had 'em written off. they cost a fortune and i can't blame the chicks.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Michael Weatherly...... sorry got lost there for a moment. Yes, he could buy me anything and I would agree to it. I see this blind as an older guy, though. The Hill Harper guess was a nice way to think outside the box - I like that one!

    ReplyDelete
  94. 34DD

And Im gonna go with the hot cuban dude on CSI: Miami. Or is he biracial? Either way, yum.

And David Boreanez is married to that chick from the old FX Baywatch spoof. Son of the beach? or something. Granted he cheated on his first, non-celeb wife (ellen)-- yeah, I was obsessed with him back in the buffy days/
