Thank You E! Online - Say Goodbye To Speidi

E! Online took a big step yesterday and hopefully their on air brethren will follow their lead and also that Seacrest dude who does a radio show every morning from the E! building. I wouldn't hold my breath on that though. E! Online has decided to ban Speidi from their pages. Barring a death, a pregnancy or Heidi's record going number 1, they have banned them. I support that ban and will also never write about them or post their pictures unless Spencer is caught making out with Ryan Seacrest or doing community service picking up trash on the side of a highway.

The couple serves no purpose for any of us in this world. They contribute nothing. Their sole purpose is to take and take and take. They are showing a generation of kids that it is ok to be total a-holes and fake and you can still make lots of money if you are willing to sell your soul. Speaking of soul, do Speidi actually go to church or do they just have private time with God on Sundays while they figure out Heidi's next topless photo shoot location?

I never have seen people who talk the talk like they do on religion and yet never actually go to church. It is almost like they are playing it for more fans. They wouldn't do that would they? No, not them. Hopefully lots of other sites and organizations will ban them as well. If there is no oxygen there is no fire. Right? I think I learned that watching Backdraft. I guess that movie was good for something more than just keeping my nightstand stable.

  6. While this news amuses me, how much do ya wanna bet that a sex tape or a pregnancy announcement will drop in the next month?

  7. Yes! Finally. I could go the rest of my life without hearing either of their names again and I'd be happy.

  8. YEAH! Thank you good people at E!

Yesterday Perez, today Speidi ... what's going around is coming around.

Now, where's my winning lottery ticket?

  10. What prompted this? I thought E! would report on anything.

    Can Paris be next?

  11. Reality tv stars are basically glorified game show contestants. I've never understood why any of them become celebrities. I mean, could anyone imagine contestant number 3 from The Price is Right parlaying their 30 minutes on contestant row to a career of being famous for nothing?

If I had my druthers, reality show people would get zero media coverage outside of their stupid shows.

    Maybe I'm just bitchy.

  12. WHAT? that's the best news next to the awesomeness of the enty piccy drive!

what prompted this? are they saying this publicly? i'm about to weep tears of joy!

  13. I'm glad my vote helped! I'm with califblondy - I REALLY want Paris to be banned next. I won't worry about Jon & Kate, because I know no one will care in a year.

  14. They say all good things happen in three's. First, Perez gets his nasty ass kicked, now Spiedi is banned from E, what could the third possibly be? Paris gets imprisoned in Dubai for looking extra skanky in a bikini. All I know, is that there is a GOD! Yeah!

  15. Can we have a Speidi ban on here now, please?!

  16. "What prompted this?"

E! put up a poll on their website asking if their readers wanted a ban, and you can guess how much of a landslide it was. I myself voted early and often.

  17. I have to say, as annoying as these people are, it's good that there are narcissists to fulfill our insatiable demand for gossip. If they weren't around, the celebs who actually do value their privacy would be under attack much more. However, there is a limit on the famewhoredom I want to see, and Speidi are past it. LiLo, however, I am still fascinated by. (Sorry to the people who want her banned.) Will she and Sam make it? I want to know!!! ;)

  18. if we banned all the useless people we'de all be sitting here staring at a black screen.

  19. YAY ENTY AND E!!! What great news!!! I will now even read Ted Casablanca's oh so annoying blind items just to encourage the network to continue their ban against Speidi. WOO HOO!

They had people vote to ban or not? I love it!
Just the way the Founding Fathers envisioned it, LOL...

  21. LOL, Jax! Except for Hugh Jackman. TMZ is on a mission to find something wrong with him, and as far as they (and I) can tell, he's just about perfect. I'm so bummed he doesn't give me any special tingle - he's one celeb crush who won't let you down.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, Jax, we would still have Ben Affleck.

  23. A round of applause to E! and ENT!

  24. I'm glad my vote made a difference with those two fame-seekers :)

I agree we need to keep SOME people around to snark about, but my preference is for actual people in the industry that work/have worked - not people famous just for being famous. I include Paris Hilton in that group and most reality people. They don't deserve recognition.

I, admittedly, love watching the train wreck that is Lilo.

  25. thank you, mooshki and jax, that's what i keep saying every time people here demand a ban! without someone to laugh at, we'd all be awfully bored!
but i hope their E! banning doesn't bring out his ugliest side and he takes it out on her, because you KNOW he's capable of it.

  26. Seriously, this news made me happy.

  27. This is the coolest thing E! has ever done.

I can understand not wanting a ban on every idiot, but there does come a time when a star's stupidity has saturated the entertainment market. At that point, they should drop off the gossip radar.

Speidi passed that point around a year ago.

  28. Enty, I'd let you off the hook if Perez and Spencwhore got in a smack down like little girls. Hell I'd pay good money I don't have to see that one. You could even headline it

    CHICKFIGHT???

    ReplyDelete
  29. YAY Now if only everyone else would ban them maybe their 15 minutes of fame would finally run out. As for the church going thing Enty I think they are waiting for s church to offer them money to show up.

  30. WooHooooo!!! Late post but I had to add- Conan needs to follow suit! He makes a speidi joke almost every night, and every single time, my man turns to me and says "who??"
Then I'm stuck trying to explain who the f they are when in actuality they're NOBODY.

    Love you, Ent!!

  31. Is the ban just on eonline or also the tv station?
