Yesterday's Blind Items

Normally I would have included this in a little note at the beginning of Four For Friday. However, I didn't want it to get lost in the shuffle. The last time I checked there were over 100 comments and guesses and yet, none of them were correct. Just saying.

  1. Damn! I thought for sure it was LeBlanc.

Enty, please forgive since I'm not sure about posting links to other sites, but this blog has a very similar item to what you posted. Are any of the guesses right?

  2. I'm not quite sure why this is the name that jumped into my head, but... James Van Der Beek?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Charlie Sheen is an B+ / A list tv star. He's been on 2 & 1/2 Men for years.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Abe Vigoda.

Hasn't really worked since "Fish" didn't pan out for him....

    ReplyDelete
  5. Did you check Abe's IMDB, he's always doing something.

    ReplyDelete
  6. what about Dean Cain?

    ReplyDelete
  7. the ex of linday lohan Wilmer Walderrama? i really thought on Matt Leblanc!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Could this be Dave Chappelle? Chappelle's Show was a hit and he was definitely B on the way to A list at its height. But ever since...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hmmm, not sure if the actor is married or not, but I will guess Ricky Schroeder, or "Rick" as he now goes by.

Was on Silver Spoons, then kind of fell off of the map. Then he got a second chance on NYPD Blue and quit.

  10. i was just thinking ricky schroeder, weird..

    ReplyDelete
  11. love when you chime in and give hints, ent.

  12. Anonymous12:54 PM

Van Der Beek was my guess, as well.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sweet honest Enty! :)

    Yea, not "my" Chandler Bing!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Could also be Jonathan Taylor Thomas...hasn't done much since leaving Home Improvement to jump into films...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ooh, does this mean that in other blinds someone has made a correct guess? That would be very good to know :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I thought van der Beek batted for the other team?

    ReplyDelete
  17. GO Pomme! Brilliant!
I am TOTALLY on the Wilmer Valderamma train. This is exactly the sort of degrading douchebag thing he'd do. He's a known face whose career at this point is made of b-rated indie films and working the charity circuit for money.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I thought Ricky Schroeder converted to Mormonism and now has loads of kids. I think he'd be too fatherly to do this.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Trust me -- it AIN'T Rick Schroeder. Guy's about as straight-laced as they come these days.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wilmer was a guess in the original blind item. Enty nixed all of those.

    So it can't be...
    Any of the Friends
    David Caruso
    Wilmer Valderrama
    Gale Harold
    Benjamin Bratt
    David Duchovny
    Eriq LaSalle
    Anthony Edwards
    Mark-Paul Gosslear
    Mario Lopez
    Jimmy Smits
    James Caan
    Michael Vartan
    Scott Baio
    Jesse Metcalf
    Tim Allen
    Jacob Pitts
    Rob Morrow
    Adam Brody
    Topher Grace
    Robert Isler
    David Spade
    Gary Dourdan
    Andrew Dice Clay

  21. Good guesses, but I think JTT is gay and Wilmer Valderamma was guessed last time, so it can't be him.

    ReplyDelete
  22. My guess now is Shane West.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I've got a story about JTT. About three years back a female friend of mine was doing some type of charity/humanitarian project and turns out JTT was also helping out. JTT and my friend hung out once...not really a "date," per se. Anyway, JTT told her he was really into charity projects and such. I told her that was actor code for "I'm washed up and I have nothing better to do."

    ReplyDelete
  24. One of the boys from Drake and Josh.

    ReplyDelete
  25. nice one SkittleKitty

shane west is a great guess. i'm jumping on that train ;)

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's gotta be someone who hasn't been working, or at least hasn't been working much. At least that's what the blind indicates. Shane West was on ER until the end just now and has a few projects in development according to IMDB. Zach Braff is still on Scrubs.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "lost in the shuffle"

is this a clue or am i over-analyzing.

    ReplyDelete
  28. JTT voluntarily gave up acting for college. I believe he went to Columbia University.

    ReplyDelete
  29. IT'S THE PIV!! JEREMY PIVEN

    ReplyDelete
  30. GOOD point Quintessential Southerner...hmmmmmm Someone from "Vegas"? Or someone who has played in that poker show?

    ReplyDelete
  31. This is a long shot but what about Frankie Muniz

    ReplyDelete
  32. "Lost in the shuffle" today..."roll the dice" yesterday...

Sorry to be all over this. I'm bored at work, can't you tell?

    ReplyDelete
  33. James Van Der Beek has been married since 2003.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous2:12 PM

If this is Frankie Muniz, I will absolutely die from laughing. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to have sex with him, but I'm sure with his $$ he does okay. Ugh... ::shudders::

    ReplyDelete
  35. JTT is gay.

good point about shane west. forgot he was on ER.

are we counting out Josh Duhamal?

    ReplyDelete
  36. frankie muniz is supposed to be broke?.

    ReplyDelete
  37. OK if JTT is gay, and the blind says the actor didn't go home with any of the women, couldn't he be the answer to this?

    ReplyDelete
  38. BTW all!

Today it's "lost in the shuffle"

Yesterday, it was "rolling the dice" 2 times!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Jason Alexander? Considered one of the most famous celebrity poker players, tried to do another show post-Seinfeld. Occasional movie.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Because of the Melissa Gilbert item today, I'll say Rob Lowe. Left West Wing, had the lead in 2 subsequent series that failed - Lyon's Den and Dr Vegas - and is now in a supporting role on a tv series that he'll get written out of if his character and Calista's get divorced. Yeah, he did movies earlier in his career, but he's all tv now. Dr Vegas fits the roll of the dice thing.

    ReplyDelete
  41. what was the other actor on Vegas? James Lesure. He was on Lost briefly, but I haven't seen him do much else. Duhamel has done pretty well in movies, especially Transformers.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh, and look at him. I'd believe 4 skanks would degrade themselves to get a shot at doing him.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Van Der Beek is a good guess.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The more I think about it, I'm wondering if Enty is giving us a hint by saying "lost in the shuffle". There was no real reason for him to NOT let us know at the top of today's blinds. So maybe someone that was on Lost or (keeping with "roll the dice" from the original blind) someone associated with playing cards/gambling?

    ReplyDelete
  45. What about Gary Dourdan from CSI? The show is set in Vegas.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Guys on Vegas:
    Josh Duhamel
    James Lesure
    James Caan
    Mitch Longley
    Tom Selleck
    James McMann
    Guy Ecker
    Greg Osbourne
    Dean Cain

    ReplyDelete
  47. CSI(Las Vegas)Guys
    George Eads
    Paul Guilfoyle
    Eric Szmanda
    Robert David Hall
    William Petersen
    Gary Dourdan
    David Berman
    Wallace Langham
    Archie Kao
    Larry Mitchell
    Gerald McCullouch

    ReplyDelete
  48. I like the Gary Dourdan guess.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Laurie I thought about Jason Alexander but he currently has about 4 movies in the works.

Does Tom Selleck fit the blind?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Malcolm Jamal Warner?

    ReplyDelete
  51. I just don't see these guys being so easily recognized. I don't even recognize some of their names.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I wouldn't be even one iota shocked if this were that arrogant S.O.B. Tom Selleck.
    How I loathe him...

    ReplyDelete
  53. hmmm, maybe Jay Mohr. Married to Nikki Cox from Las Vegas.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ray Romano. Everybody loves him, including four star-effing, desperate skanks.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I sure don´t. That show was terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thank god it's not my Matt Perry!

Good God, there's something seriously wrong with me.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I might be liking the Dean Cain theory.

Regognizable, on a hit show for a few years, tried for movies but didn't hit. That idiot Ripley's Believe it or Not show was his production company. And he had a role on Vegas, so the gambling clues (if they are clues) work. He has a kid with an ex-Playboy model, so he likes the girls who flatter him up. He seems to work a lot, though, according to his bio. But it's all small crap. Does that count as 'barely working?'

I think Dean is def in the running here.

    ReplyDelete
  58. WBotW, why is Tom Selleck an arrogant S.O.B.?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Damn, I still can't believe it's not Topher Grace! (Maybe Ent didn't see that guess?!)

    1) He's done about 90% television.
    2) He's pretty recognizable, & decent-enough looking to attract women easily.
    3) He quit "That 70's Show" in 2005 (as a solid B-lister) to "roll the dice" on becoming an A-lister in films...Which soooooo hasn't happened! He's barely managed a project a year since 2007.
    4) He's known for a dry/sarcastic sense of humor, which totally fits what this jack*** did. (Not that the skanks didn't deserve it, of course.) :)

Topher may not be our guy, but he sure as hell fits the clues..

    ReplyDelete
  60. >Does Tom Selleck fit the blind?

No, but I'm pretty sure if fits some of the gay ones.
