While shooting on the set of their latest movie, these two stars have a completely different way of interacting with their fans. Well, I should say one interacts with fans, and one pretends she cannot see or hear them. Our B+ list movie actor usually plays the fun guy and it seems that when he is filming it is the exact same way. He spends most of the time in between takes speaking with fans, taking pictures and talking the entire time. Our A+ list actress on the other hand spends her time in between takes as far away from the fans as possible and has absolutely nothing to do with them. She is very good at pretending not to hear them or see them.

ReplyDeleteI believe some sharp CDANer nailed this one. I totally believe it. Miss Type A indeed. I get the feeling Ms. Witherspork feels superior to most of us peons. While Paul Rudd is a sweetie beyond belief and sooooooo hot.

ReplyDeleteShe always tries to come across as "regular" and "down to earth". I can understand how, as an actor, you'd want to stay focused and not just go hang out between takes. I get that. But to just completely ignore the people that, in reality, pay your ridiculous salary, is quite rude.

ReplyDeleteI still love Reese as an actress. Some people are like that -- and I am too -- They can play any character in a film or play, but they have a hard time being themselves. Just because you're a good actor doesn't mean you're a good socializer. I guess I'm in the minority here, but I know that being Type A can cause an errant bitchface or twelve.
This does not surprise me in the least. Paul seems like a geniunely nice guy who appreciates his newfound star status (he didn't seem to do much after Clueless), while Reese seems to have developed quite the over-inflated ego since winning the Oscar. America's Sweethearts are rarely as sweet as they seem.
