In what one source called a "freak out," Mischa Barton called the police yesterday afternoon to come get her. A police spokesperson said Mischa called the police, but 911 and the police responded to a medical issue. The police wouldn't say where Mischa was taken.
I don't know if you have seen pictures of Mischa over the past few weeks but she has started to look really puffy and not very healthy at all. Mischa, if you will recall was charged last year with a DUI and possessing pot and not having a drivers license despite being behind the wheel of a car. She was sentenced to 36 months probation.
As much as I like to make light of situations, I do hope she is ok and that whatever issues she was having yesterday get better and so she can get back to the person I like to make fun of so much.
sounds like a bad coke trip...at least she did the right thing in calling for help.

ReplyDeleteIf I had a grown child acting like her, I'd try to bring her home for a while, get her some help to straighten out.
She looks like Pete Doherty's sister there. That never bodes well for one's sobriety.

On BlindGossip.com there was an item about someone who sounds very much like Mischa - she was the favourite. The blind was about someone who's recently become really addicted to meth.

ReplyDeleteMischa Barton was removed from her LA home by police officers last night after suffering from an undisclosed medical condition. After her rep commented that the escort was necessary only for safety purposes, it appears as though her state is worse than originally thought. She's allegedly been placed under a 5150 hold, which will allow Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to hold her for up to 72 hours. It's the same situation Britney faced during her troubles in 2008. Hopefully Mischa is already on the road to getting whatever help she needs.

ReplyDeleteI heard on the news this a.m that she had a breakdown. She looks like she's become addicted to one of the ones that gets you really quickly, like meth or heroin.

ReplyDeletewow...she looks terrible. i won't say she had a great career ahead of her regardless of what drugs she is on---she was definitely on the path of being a cast member of the surreal life. but i really hope she gets better.
