Today's Blind Items

What grieving brother is carrying at least two pens and a stack of headshots to sign for fans when they approach him? His only problem is that despite him probably being the best known brother no one is coming up to him asking for his autograph or headshot. He is ready though.

  1. Jermaine? Tito?

Where's our random photos, Enty? You hitting the bottle early today?

  2. Great guess AnonMom! I'll go with one of the Jackson's too.

    I'm with the Jermaine team.

  4. If this isn't a Jackson, it be Macaulay Culkin. His sister was killed last year while crossing the street.

  5. i vote for jermaine as well

  8. Gott ab eJermaine...I think he's probably the best known brother after Michael.

  9. Jermaine. I read that he was hoping to have a solo career after he sang Smile at the memorial.

    This isn't even a blind.

  10. Jermaine. And there have been reports in the recent past that he was jealous of Michael and that he was hoping to revive his solo career after MJ's London concerts.

  11. Definitely Jermaine

  12. Definitely Jermaine.
While I'm sure he is/was jealous of Michael's success, I have read elsewhere that his lack of career had something to do with Michael (i.e. Michael may have discouraged people in the industry from supporting a solo career by Jermaine).
Two (or more) sides to every story, though, I guess.

  13. Jermaine.

@gauchogirl, I hadn't even heard of that, wow.

  14. I vote for Jermadjesty's Father too.

What a sucky name for a kid.

Although I wouldn't put it past anyone of them.

Good old Joe is trying to pass off some poor young man as Michael's love child who can dance and sing just like Michael. How long until the concert event of the decade with the remaining Jackson Five and faux Michael, Jr., front and center? Ugh.

I heard Michael bought the rights to all the Jackson 5 / Jacksons music and wouldn't give permission to the brothers to perform them. How much does THAT suck for them?

  16. Why even bother having this as a blind? It's painfully obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  17. califblondy, I bet that would piss off the brothers BIG TIME. Their chance to shine in the sun, and it's taken away by someone who may/may not be Michael's offspring?

    Drama.

  18. Well whether Michael discouraged his success or not, I don't think he can sing for sh*t, either way.

  19. Agreed...jermaine. sad? tacky?

  20. What bugs me re: the Jermaine guess -- shouldn't the item have said he's NOW the most famous brother? The way it's written seems to imply that the person in question always was the most famous... which would rule out Jermaine, that's for sure.

Could also just be an oversight.

If it's not the Jacksons, though, I'd guess one of the O'Neal kids.

  21. The way the item is worded, a Carradine brother would seem to qualify, too.

  22. Why should Michael discourage people in the music business to sign Jermaine? He had a hit with Pia Zadora back in the days. Do you remember?
I also think that Michael loved the competition. He competed with Janet in a friendly way after all. Why shouldn't he have done the same with Jermaine?

  23. Jermaine also had hits with "Let's Get Serious" and "Do What You Do." Hell, I got a husband out of dancing to "Let's Get Serious." LOL.

    Thanks for nothing, Jermaine!

  24. Mina,

Jermaine backstabbed his bother on many occasions, including participating in books being written that cast Michael in a negative light, a few songs (Word to the Bad) that slammed Michael, and dropping all kinds of tips to tabloids against Michael. He;s a real snake in the grass, like their father.

    Greasmaine it is!

  25. @cdanluva haha. It totally is.

  26. @Patrice:

Well, then I wouldn't be surprised if Michael payed him back with telling others in the business to distance themselves from Jermaine. I just don't think that Michael would have done such a thing without a valid reason.

    Jerkmaine from now on. :)

  29. Um, this is off-topic and I hope you don't mind me asking, but since this is a BI post I would like to ask you a question about another BI that was posted on several sites a year ago, I think. The BI was about an actor who mainly does action movies and had a blockbuster movie coming out that summer. Apparently, the actor who's not openly gay had a boyfriend/affair and the guy wanted to break up/end the affair. The actor then visited said boy and raped him so that he needed to be rushed to the ER. The actor then gave his boyfriend/affair a high sum to keep his mouth shut.
Was this an Enty blind? Does anyone remember? Or even remember the guesses?
Sorry again for being off-topic here.

  30. Mina, I think most of the guesses were for Will Smith, but that one wasn't ever revealed.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Will Smith? Really? Oh my God! Do you have a link to the blind and the guesses, respectively?

  36. I thought of Mark Ruffulo at first, but I'm am sure it is a Jackson.

  37. Sad when 99.7% of us think the same person. Sux to be him, eh?

  38. Anyone remember a song by Jermaine called Planet of the Antmen? Even as a kid I thought it was ludacris. I hope it's not Tito. He (or his people) actually sent me an autographed photo when I was a teen after I wrote a fan letter to each brother. None of the others did.

  39. AnonMom -

I hope Ent didn't run out of photo licensing fee money again! That would explain the lack of random photos, for sure. Bummer.

  40. Totally Jermaine ..ego maniac that he is! I mean naming a kid Jermajesty alone should be clue enough!! : D- LOL!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think the words "stack of headshots" is a clue that this is an actor.

    ReplyDelete
  42. dave r., i like the off the wall o'neal guess!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Awww...I'd totally ask and accept his offer of photo/autograph. Hell, I'd ask ALL the Jackson's.(maybe not Joe)
