Alena Jenkins On Good Morning America

Ryan Jenkins's sister was on Good Morning America this morning. She was asked among other things whether she was the person who drove Ryan Jenkins to the hotel where he hung himself. She declined to answer so I think we all assume that is a big yes. She is not going to be charged with a crime so there was no reason for her to not answer yes or no.

She was also asked whether she believed her brother committed the crime. She said, "Until proven without a doubt I have to say my brother is innocent." Well, I don't know how much more proof she needs. I guess she is looking for the Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane defense that there must be a photo showing it before there can be guilt.

TMZ released some pictures showing Jasmine Fiore being very intimate with her ex husband in the days prior to her death. Not intimate like sex intimate but some kissing and groping. Jasmine's ex had just been released from prison. Alena was asked if that could have set her brother off. Alena said no because Jasmine "was a bit of a show off" who "would quite often expose her breasts in public."

Nice. To see the video, click here. To see the photos of Jasmine and her ex, click here.

  1. What is wrong with people today?! If my brother died I wouldn't be running to ANY show to famewhore myself! What happened to grieving? For F**ck's Sake!! (gives side eye to that chick)

  2. Every time I see this particular picture of Jasmine it reminds me of Jessica rabbit in the Dick Tracy movie.(No disrespect meant. it's just an observation)

This is just further proof to me that at some point EVERYONE will become some sort of 'faux-celebrity'. Her brother is accused of brutally murdering his wife, then killing himself and it's the sister being interviewed on national television and then has the gall to refuse to answer a question because it may make HER look bad???!!!!

It is heartbreaking that there will be no justice served for Jasmine's death.

Society as a whole is the total lack of class!!! What ever happened to just plain good judgment, and decorum…....why do you NEED to be on TV and why the hell do the TV "NEWS” personalities Interview theses bottom feeders to begin with?? hole is the total lack of class!!! What ever happened to just plain good judgment, and decorum

  4. In case your blood pressure was not thru the roof yet, here's an article from Calgary Herald. An interview with the 'head-up-ass' father.

  7. @mygeorgie Thanks for this.

Wow, if he was really so 'genuinely concerned about' his wife that he was supposedly so 'in love with' then he WOULD NOT have left to go home to Canada! This makes no sense and his family members are all wallowing in a sea of delusion!

The tragedy here is that this poor girl is DEAD and no one is going to be held accountable for her death. That is SAD.

  8. thx, mygeorgie, for the link.

    eek! =O

  9. I know, the guy is a self absorbed Dick (apple far from the tree?)

No innocent spouse would leave the country within days of filing a missing person. You would want to stay to help/hear news, non?

People do NOT get thrown in jail for simply pushing someone into a pool.

Why go out of your way to "take the sneaky way" into Canada, bypassing authorities?

  10. River, thy name is Denial. I know no one wants to believe the worst of their loved ones, parents especially of their children, but the evidence is right there.

I just don't understand how the sister can't be charged with something if they proved that she is the one who drove him to the hotel.

Also, it was a good call by the authorities to hold the father otherwise I am sure his money and private jet would have spirited his son off to South or Central America.

  11. I don't understand why she was on the show in the first place. Maybe she initially thought she could clear his name or make him look like the victim...I don't doubt for one second that this is extremely hard for both Jenkins' family as well as Fiore's, but it might be a good idea for them to stay away from the media. Just sayin'.

  13. GMA and the Today Show will sell their souls to the devil for a story which will garner them bigger ratings.

Although I am glad that they are keeping out of the spotlight, I would have preferred to see Jasmine's parents pleading for justice in their daughter's murder.

Everybody loses in this situation and it is just tragic.

  14. I would be in denial if my brother was accused of something like this too. But I wouldn't be going on TV shows about it unless I had some sort of proof that I thought cleared his name.

  15. Northman I don't know if the law is the same everywhere but generally if you are a close relative (sibling, mom, dad, and even sometimes an aunt or uncle) you cannot be charged for harboring the defendant bc the law assumes that you would do so out of loyalty to your family member. A theory likely bolstered by the innocent till proven guilty thing. I don't know if this extends to aiding in their escape but I think that this is why they are not charging her.

I think the guy is guilty (obviously) and probably part of his bad character had to do with his upbringing. So it is not that much of a stretch that the sister would be kind of warped too. The statement she made about Jasmine exposing her breasts is just a pathetic justification/qualification in the sister’s mind IMO.

  17. @Alice, then his family just need to STFU; yes they suffered a loss, but it is looking like their son wasn't innocent in all this. Jasmine's parents for SURE have lost an innocent daughter.

    @ Jax, aptly summed up.

  18. @ Northm... I was just stating my understanding of the law and that I think his family is as effed up as he was.

  19. Everytime I see this particular picture of Jasmine, it reminds me of Jiminy Cricket.

Go look at it again and imagine her green. Go on, I'll wait.

  20. @Alice, ITA with you. I guess my ire at his stupid family clouded the tone of my reply to you. No harm meant. :-)

  21. It's cool ;) I wasn't sure though! It is such a sad situation for Jasmine and her family. I don't care about her profession or conduct she did not deserve what happened. And as for the sister…I know she is family but still! I listened to this thing on the radio the other day where this mother had done a book of poetry inspired by the murder of her daughter by her ex. The thing that got me was that the mother went to the trial and she had all this hate for the mother of the ex and the ex’s mom came up to her when it was all over and said “I am SO sorry” and they hugged. That is what happens when you love your family members but still recognize that they have done something evil and unforgivable…much more admirable a response than what is going on in this current situation.

  22. This douche had on more makeup and tweezed eyebrows in this photo than I do on a night on the town.

  23. Personally, I think that Jasmine looks exactly like a Bratz doll in that picture.

  24. Not only does the sister go on GMA to whore out her 12 minutes of fame, but she also throws the victim under the bus to get run over again. In her last statement, she basically says that Jasmine was a slut in public. Whether that's true or not, show some respect. The woman was just brutally murdered and had parts extracted and pieces chopped off---presumably by Ryan Jenkins. It's probably best to speak kindly of the dead under the circumstances.

Oh. But wait. That would involve some class. It doesn't seem as if this family really has any of that growing in their garden.

  25. The warrant for his arrest hadn't been issued at the time she took him to the motel, so she didn't technically break the law.

  27. I am growing to hate the news media. They will give any whore a platform for their 15 mins. Why compound the victims family's pain by putting on a mediawhore who calls the VICTIM a showoff? Hello pot ...this is kettle...

  29. I don't know the Jenkins family. Maybe they are unable to believe that the Ryan they knew was capable of such terrible acts. I would not easily believe such terrible things about people close to me.

Perhaps there is an advantage to not admitting to anything - so that it is more difficult for the deceased woman's estate to successfully sue Ryan's estate for compensation. Ryan was not convicted.

  30. As I watch Antonio Sabato's new show, I keep wondering which one of them he's going to pick off in an orgy of rage and jealousy. (Tully's the most likely.) I'm also shocked that the production company behind I LOVE MONEY 3 is claiming it's going to sit on the episodes forever, they're cancelled, they'll never show them -- they're totally going to show them. Pundits used to say that the only place a reality show hasn't gone yet is on-screen murder, but we've finally achieved an off-screen murder between filming and screening. So I guess we have one more rung to drop down on, before we're officially living in Hell.
