Jon Gosselin Despises Kate

Well all I can say is that I hope the Gosselin children were not watching Good Morning America this morning. If they had been they would have seen their dad say some pretty nasty things about their mom and not really seem too sorry about saying them. Of course he also wants to keep the media out of all this and hope they respect his privacy. Kate too.

"Our relationship will never be fixed... I don't trust her anymore. I was abused...I was beaten down...I'm not going back to that lifestyle."

I think all he is doing is repeating what people had said when they watched the show and made comments. Did she treat him poorly sometimes? Hell yes, but he isn't exactly a prize either.

Jon also said that it was Kate who broke off the marriage and that it was Kate who refused to go to marriage counseling. He also said the reason he stopped wearing his wedding ring was that Kate stole it. He also claimed she hid the remote control and so he couldn't watch what he wanted to on television and that she ate all the good chocolates while leaving him the ones with liquid in the middle.

"I can't sit on a sofa with that woman. I can't sit on someone right now that I despise—I despise because she's not speaking from the heart. Please, the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV."

That whole quote doesn't make much sense, but I have noticed when you let Jon try and string together more than a few sentences you usually get that result. I'm hoping this is the end for all the publicity and for the show. No more. The public has surrendered. We want no more of Jon & Kate. I want more of Hoarders.

  1. Yes, more Hoarders! John is a sociopath and shouldn't be allowed around children, much less procreate.

  4. Oooh, yes, LOVE that Hoarders show! My Memere was a hoarder, when she moved from her small 2 bedroom home to a single room in a nursing home, they filled 6 16-foot cube vans. SIX!!!!! She had so much stuff in that house, she literally made 'mazes' with the boxes of shyte in her attic so she could move around.
Guess who's NEVER going down that route? ;)

  5. Ewwww, I hate Hoarders! They live in such disgusting conditions. I saw a bit of the cleaning out of one woman's fridge and I begged my sister-in-law to change the channel or I'd vom on her carpeting. I could NOT handle it.

Barton, people hate Kate because she's an unrepentant C U Next Tuesday! lol Her little remark of "This is all MY kingdom" when they moved into the 1.4 Million Dollar house which they "bought for the kids" didn't go over well with me.

  7. I agree enty, bring on the hoarders. I love that show! It makes me feel a little better about my home. I'm not the most organized person, but after watching an episode, I feel pretty good about my housewife skills.

Hopefully this will be the end of Jon and Kate + 8. He's pretty much thrown his family and the income they generate under the bus. If TLC has any sense, they'll bolt, because all of this reflects badly on them as well.

  8. ohhhhhh, i'm missing out! so haven't seen 'hoarders'...*tivo*

"I can't sit on someone right now that I despise..." wth? he'd sit on her when he didn't despise her?

  9. anyone watching 'househusbands of hollywood'?

  10. Oh, so what. I despise both of them. Why isn't that a headline?

  11. I'm thinking he had a lobotomy and Mr. Lohan (aka the Mayor of Crazytown) is actually feeding him lines....and not just of stupid things to say either. This guy is a complete Tool!

  12. I know I've said this a thousand times, but why do parents feel the need to express the contempt of their partner in front of everyone? Gah. Poor kids. I wish he wouldn't buy anymore Ed Hardy caca and just save up the money for that for the kids' therapy. They're gonna need it with those two nitwits as their parents.

  13. Is that show any good, Southerner?

  14. Househusbands of Hollywood? How have I missed this?

I am team Kate all the way. This guy is such a spineless pile of blubber, I don't blame her for becoming such a "bitch". She was just trying to get shit done. I bet when they first started dating, he was the kind of guy that would agree with her all the time, about everything, and let her make all the decisions. Where most normal women would have left him to cry about how all women want bad guys and why won't they date me I am such a niiiice guuuuyyyyy, she stuck around and THAT is the only thing I have against her. That and the hair.

  15. I was just talking about Hoarders to a friend here at work, I LOVE that show! Makes my little place look spotless. :)))

Although I must say, the one last night with the cat collector was not fun to watch, they found a bunch of dead kittens and cats in her house. Not good.

  16. I hate Hoarders - every time I watch it, I have to get up and clean something.

  17. I LOVE Hoarders!! My deceased mohter-in-law was married to one, and it made her last years HORRIBLE. Fortunately though, he hoarded newspapers and magazines and not dead cats.

  18. 'househusbands of hollywood' comes on fox's reality channel. i like it okay. it's probably somewhat scripted, but not so over the top.

    it's worth one 'looksy'.

  19. I'm starting to see Kate in a whole new light...I thought she was a HUGE CONTROLLING BITCH to poor, long-suffering John--but now I'm starting to think that it was poor Kate who knew that if she let up for one SECOND that he'd take the first train out to Doucheville.

I give her credit for maintaining some small semblance of dignity while John continues to embarrass himself and act like an ungrateful ass.

  20. Barton - it was recently disclosed thatKate wanted to have another set of multiples - not the "just one more" that she says in the opening lines of the show. Since she was the breadwinner of the family at the time - she was a nurse and Jon is an "I.T." guy - there wouldn't be much time for the finances to run out. She has had the idea to exploit her children on TV all along. that, to me, is reprehensible. She does that show for herself, NOT the kids. Ad she treated Jon like shit on that show (although he seriously needs to grow some actual balls). She treats everyone else like that, too. I happened (unfortunately), to catch the segment where Emeril Lagasse came to their house. At one point she hit him, and not gently. The look he gave her was priceless. I almost wish he would have turned around and smacked her right in the face.

They both need to go away, and quickly.

  21. mngddess-totally respect your views on this whole debacle but not for one minute do I believe Kate wanted another set of multiples. Not for a nanosecond. Also, to echo a few others who commented, Kate may be really green with her social skills, but she has always been devoted to her kids. She was tough with him, sure, but no tougher than any mother I know who has a lazy, lame excuse for a husband. I've always been team Kate, despite wishing she'd ease up a little bit, but I get why she was such a controlling mother. She had NINE kids.

Jon might be a douchebag, but he was an abused husband. Verbal abuse is still abuse. Their entire relationship was dysfunctional, maybe because of the stress of all those kids, maybe before.

Female on male abuse tends to be ignored.

  23. My sister told me about this interview and JG whined like a brat about the kids & how he married too young.

I asked one question that Chris C didn't.

" Well did Chris C. ask him if he got fixed since JG thinks he is being weighed down by all those kids?"

Of course he didn't. I don't know who the bigger whimp is. JG for his douchetastic behavior or Chris for failing to be a real journalist.

  24. mngddess, there is no way in hell Kate could have anticipated this ahead of time:

"I know, I'm going to have them implant as maaaaaany embryos as possible in the hopes that some huge litter will implant. THEN, I'm going to go to TLC and ask them if they want to do a show about us!"

    Nnnno.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I still have equal hatred for both of them. Forget about a second set of multiples - she still chose to have the first set knowing exactly what kind of a man Jon was. Why wouldn't she have stopped after two kids if she wasn't getting exactly what she wanted?

  26. >>>"I can't sit on a sofa with that woman. I can't sit on someone right now that I despise...<<<

I think the "sit on" was a typo. I think he meant "I can't sit on a sofa with..."

On one of their older shows Jon admonished Kate after she was verbally abusive to him by saying "See, Kate, that's why people say bad things about you." I think he was trying to let her know that she was too mean to him in front of the camera. I think she was nice to him in private and he wanted her to be nice to him in public and that's why he said "Please, the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV" in this interview.

I think the things Jon is angry about now are not things he was upset about when they originally happened. It sounds like he is repeating what other people who haved watched the show have pointed out to him. Almost to the end of last season he was very sweet and loving to Kate, no matter how she treated him. I don't know what finally sent him over the edge but it seemed like he snapped overnight. From what he is now saying, it appears that he has been jealous of the relationship, albeit platonic, Kate had with the security guy. Maybe that is what finally did it.

  27. Does anyone, anywhere actually give a flying fuck what Jon Gosselin thinks? Does HE even care what he thinks? This guy is awful. AWFUL. Even if what he says is 100% true, he has no business broadcasting it to the world if he honestly cares about his children. NONE. If he considers himself abused, file a freaking police report or bring it up in the divorce proceedings. The way a real man handles his problems is not to run to Good Morning America.

I'm sorry but this is just crazy. I've thought he was a passive-aggressive ass for a long time, but at this point it's extremely difficult to reconcile his claim to love & want what's best for his kids with his completely INSANE behavior.

He hates his wife, get a divorce. He hates his ex-wife, complain to your new girlfriend. You do NOT indulge your compulsion to whine in such a manner that harms your children. Period. Whatever Kate did or didn't do is irrelevant. This guy is a self-absorbed dick.

  28. Gosh, aaa, you are kind of mean.

Some of us who have been watching Jon & Kate for years are interested in what's going on. Sadly, this divorce is playing out like many divorces everywhere. Usually people just talk to their friends and family but in this one they are talking to their public. I know divorcing couples who say and do worse things than what has come from these two. It isn't right but it is common.

  29. The whole situation is tasteless. I hate reality programs, and I don't understand why they are so popular, I really don't get why people want to watch other people bitch and fight with each other. I want to be entertained, this isn't entertainment to me it's trailer trash TV!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I really like Hoarders. For some reason, I can totally understand how they got to that point in their lives. I am NOT a Hoarder, but there but for the grace of God...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh my god. She HID the remote and ATE the good chocolates??!! What a bitch! She should be locked up with the serial killers and psychopaths! Clearly a spousal abuser!

    What a douchebag.

  32. Why won't Jon and KAte just go the hell way?? I "despise" them both and wish them away .. NOW!!

  33. I want more Intervention! And updates on the same! Hoarders is creepy to me. Weak stomach. I dare you to eat left over casserole while watching that show.

  34. Hoarders is very, very creepy. It's what keeps me from renting property. Anymore. I had someone in my house a few years ago. When they were thrown out (thank goodness I didn't do the lease thing to strangers!) I found two 50 gallon garbage pails full of beer cans. There were six bags of brush in the yard that I picked up before I just called in troops. It was a Hoarder before things could get worse. I'm sure of it!

  35. Looking over all the recent press, I have to say, it's produced one of the best headlines of all time:

JON GOSSELIN: I HATE KATE, SHE ABUSED ME

    ReplyDelete
  36. Fuck sakes, Jon. STOP providing sound bites your kids will eventually read/see.
I don't care for Kate either, but Jesus - I can see why she would develop into a shrew having to deal with this guy.

  37. Speaking of hoarders, it's all too appropriate to mention that show immediately after mentioning the Gosselins. They seem to have a psychotic need to collect both children and money.
