Joe Jackson Will Eat Dinner With You For $3000

If you have an extra $3000 sitting around the house and don't know what to do with it, Joe Jackson will be happy to take it off your hands for you and in return will sit down with you at dinner. Umm, seriously? Why in the hell would I want to sit down to dinner with Joe Jackson?

The dinner with Joe is part of the Platinum Package being offered by Bian Variani and Las Vegas Magazine. As you can see in the invitation below, for the $3000 you do get more than just watching Joe gum his food and beat your kids. You get two nights at The Palms and a copy of Joe's book. WTF? Joe wrote a book? "How To Make Money off Your Kids" Chapter 1 - "Beat Them"

Of course you also get dinner and tickets to see the Michael Jackson movie and free popcorn and soda.

Thanks Shawn

  2. I want it understood that in no way shape or form do I condone this (not that my opinion matters) however, you have to give the SOB credit - even with the cash cow dead, he's making money off the hamburgers.

  3. Ah, Merlin D. Bear, you make me laugh!

But, there's no way I'd be able to stomach dinner with that guy, even if he picked up the tab.

  4. They're also thinking of having MJ's kids do a reality show.

This family has no couth (or class) whatsoever, but like Merlin stated above, it appears that they have plenty of balls.

They would have to pay me to sit across a dining table from him. Where did his nose go, by the way?

  6. This article is misleading. People are NOT paying $3000 to have dinner with Joe Jackson. This is a hotel VIP package by the Palms, not Joe Jackson, although they are using him to promote the package. They will probably comp his meal and room for his appearance.

The hotel is also using this as way to promote a stay there, the Brenden theater and the celebrity chef. Check out the prices for room at the Palms, that's most of the $3,000 especially since it's two nights.

I am so sick of misinformation on these low-rent websites. I mean seriously, get a life. Most people went to college and can read and won't be fooled by your headline.

  7. LOL at Merlin and Syko. My thoughts EXACTLY. He expects me to pay $3000 to dine with HIM? I wouldn't care if I were a multi billionaire. I'd never want to sit in the same room with him, let alone pay for it.

  8. Without even reading the post, I can tell ya right now I would not spit on this fucker for FREE.

  9. Dinner with Joseph Jackson? Is that a threat? Why do you hate me? Ick, set and Nast!

I will, however, consider your deal if you give me the bottle of Champagne upfront, let me get my bubbly on, and then let me smack him around for the rest of the night with the empty. :-)

  11. @Landy:

I checked out the prices for the Deluxe room and it is $119 on 26 October and $79 on 27 October.

That Brenden theater and the celebrity chef must be pretty kick ass for the other $2800.

Oh, and "First family of music" my ass.

  12. Do you get to punch him in the face?

  13. Few years ago we stayed at the Palms - special $79 rate. They ugraded us to the Director's Suite. 1 bedrm w/ fireplace, 3 bath, dining rm w/fireplace, full bar, huge living rm, 7 plasmas, the master bath giant tub w/ light show and ceiling faucet, etc.....
I will always love that place, it was a-mazing!

    get out.

  16. I read where Old Joe keeps a suite at the Palms, so he's pretty much hanging around the Bingo area anyway. Room prices have dropped in Vegas, so I imagine either Joe is pocketing the majority of the cash, the popcorn is pretty pricey, or the Palms is trying to recoop some of its losses for letting the old perv in the buffet line or comp'd drinks at the Playboy Club.

Katherine Jackson sais that MJ's kids will not be in the reality show.

  17. @Landy, yes we can all read, college or not. We collectively hate this bastard's guts and no amount of promotion of any hotel or chef will change that, sorry.

  18. You get to pay $3000 to get that kind of indigestion?

How could you stand to be near this scum without throttling him I will never know.

  19. @Selenakyle....Thank you!!! Well said. Landy, go the fuck back to the 'high rent' district.

I wouldn't want to pay $3,000 to have dinner with him but Joe Jackson doesn't warrant hate in my mind. I think he's a great piano player. I really like his songs such as "Steppin' Out" and "Breakin' Us in Two."

Oh...wait...not that Joe Jackson? Oh, sorry.

  23. Omigod, would be such a boring evening. Joe looks like he'd be fast asleep by 7pm.
