ABC Didn't Want You To See Jennifer Lopez Fall

For those of you on the east coast you got to see Jennifer Lopez fall right on her butt during the performance of her song. Oh how I envy you. The rest of the world has to watch it on YouTube because ABC decided not to embarrass Jennifer Lopez. Why? It isn't like no one would ever see her fall. ABC says "Due to the live nature of the show, we did not expect the impromptu moment in question. Regarding Jennifer Lopez, execs and producers felt it was respectful to Ms. Lopez to edit the mishap for later time zones."

Respectful? Did you listen to that crap she was "singing?" What would have been respectful would have been to give the world someone who could actually sing. That would have been respectful. Meanwhile, here is the fall in question. Be sure to send it to all of your friends and family this holiday season. It makes a perfect gift.

  1. They edited MV's, I mean, JLo's fall, but they kept Adam Lambert's. Of course, they edited Lambert getting fake-blown, FTW.

Does ABC think no one in the west has the internet?

  2. granted, the performance was as awful as we all anticipated after Enty posted the clip last week, but i'm confused... what did the boxing theme have to do with ANYTHING?

  3. It couldn't have happened to a better person....and of course today she states that it was apart of the choreography.

  4. BWA-hahahaha!!!!

Angie, really? Is that what she's claiming? She's a joke.

  5. I think she was joking about that when she said it to Seacrest.

Ugh. J. Lo. My friend was watching it last night and he thought she was saying Louis Vuitton. When I explained what she was really trying to say, he was like, "That makes so much more sense. Too bad the song still sucks!"

    Which, it totally did.

I love, love, LOVED Glambert getting faux-blown though.

  6. Is it just me or did Enty give away the identity of MV?

  9. Yes yes yes! This is just as great as when Diddy stepped in dog poo!

  10. I'm from Chicago, believe me, we all saw her fall flat on that famous wide butt.

    !!! :) !!!

So awesome, song was terrible, she cannot sing, or act, or do anything productive. Her clothing line is a ghetto joke & I honestly think she deserved to be embarrassed on tv. She was really struggling and her thighs, I'm sorry, but those things in those horrible shorts - wow.

Huge flabby thighs, no wonder she fell from all her weight. Don't get me started on how badly Janet did either. I was embarrassed for her too.

  11. Read the third paragraph of Lainey's post today, I think this pretty much solidifies that J Lo is MV. I can't believe how many other (legit) artists collaborated with her: LL Cool J, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, NAS, and Carlos Santana.

  12. Celebrity Trainwreck! That outfit?! No Louboutins?! MV makes the real MV look like high art. Rob Pilatus must be rolling in his grave.

  13. whether she was poking fun at herself or not....I had to rewind it several times, just to see her s'mush that booty...it was the best part of that song.

  14. Thank you, youtuber, for muting the volume on the song so I can watch without subjecting my ears to that crap song.

And enty..."What would have been respectful would have been to give the world someone who could actually sing" I think we have an MV reveal!

  15. I didn't watch the AMAs and had to find this video when I heard about it this morning. It really is the gift that keeps on giving -- I laugh every time. :) Couldn't have happened to a nicer, more talented person. Good thing it didn't happen to a genuinely nice, talented person.

  18. why would anyone care if j-lo was MV though? it isn't like she has any talent anyway

    ReplyDelete
  19. there is NO way in HELL Lainey has any inside info on who MV is. don't beleive her hype.

ooh i saw jlo pop up off that stage like it was a trampoline on her big ole butt! thankyou early east coast feed.

  20. Lorin, I think it would be more of a scandal due to her collaborators than her, herself

  21. Given how horribly she's treated people through the years, karma is paying her just a little friendly vist.

  22. I was disgusted from the start to finish of her "performance" - ridiculous boxing theme like she's still some big star. Being on the west coast I missed the fall, but it couldn't have happened to a better lip-syncher.

  23. Ed, I thought that too :)

  24. Wellllllllllllll............

lets just say I feel much better about my own thighs after seeing Jlo.

Falling down, that I will remember.

Her song, totally forgotten a nano second after she finished.

  25. hahaha, i feel like such an idiot - i thought she was saying louis vuitton too!

  26. "Regarding Jennifer Lopez, execs and producers felt it was respectful to Ms. Lopez to edit the mishap for later time zones." Translation...she b*tched us out until our ears bled and we just wanted to make it stop.

I did not see Janet's performance but I am bummed out it was not good. I like Janet.

  27. Alice! LOLOLOLOLOL!

  28. Yeah...nice fall JLo...although at least she got right back up and kept going. She is a pretty good dancer-she should stick with that. It does sound like JLo is MV, but what about all those worlwide concert tours? A red herring perhaps? And what about S's voice being good? Not quite so much. Sign me "still not sold on JLo/MV."

  29. I can just picture Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck sitting on their couch & giggling when she fell.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I didn't think the fall was a big deal & it's stupid if they (or she)felt it needed to be edited out. I agree the outfit sucks and she doesn't look great in it, but at least we know the girl eats.

    lol at the Garner-Affleck comment

  31. worse than the fall was that unfortunate choice of outfit. i couldn't decide which was worse...the granny bloomers or the structured hips.

    sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Did anyone notice at the beginning of the performance when she started to lip synch into the mike but the vocals hadn't quite started yet? Loved it!

  33. I follow a girl that writes or used to write songs for mv oops j.lo. last night one of her tweets after that j.lo fall it read something in reference to the fall :
I saw my past 2nite. LORD I THANK YOU FOR TODAY. WHERE I AM, WHAT I HAVE AND WHAT'S TO COME! I AM FAVORED BY GOD!!

This songwriter has made me wonder if she is the one behind it! When fresh outa the oven was released she said that wasn't what she had written and it really surprised her.

idk but last night's fall was a symbolism of j.lo's fall in the music career once her real identity is truley revealed. hum...

  34. Keisha- I totally noticed that too!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well, I would like to see it, but it seems like Dick Clark Productions has had it removed from youtube. Is it anywhere else?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Once again...Jo-Faux for the win (MV)!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh yeah, thanks Enty!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh yeah, J.Lo has to be MV. I had reservations too, but these reveals override that for me. I agree with those who said the BI was likely exaggerated. Also she may not have sounded fantastic on her earlier albums, but she sounds so much worse now. Plus the timing of Enty revisiting the BI makes a lots of sense now.

I do think J.Lo would be a shock, despite not being known as a great singer. It's pretty much her jack-of-all-trades persona that secured her fame. She's a lousy actress so why does she get invited to the Oscars, work with respected stars, etc? She gets way more credibility than she deserves because she's considered to be multi-talented and to have star power because of it. If she were found out to not only completely lack one of those talents (the one she really built her fanbase on), but to be a complete fraud, it would be pretty damn scandalous.

  39. I was sold that JLo was MV but this makes me think differently....

  40. She does Spanish because she can sing her own voice. How are you going to have a black girl sing spanish? well maybe if your beyonce. but that's another story. I have all of j.lo's c.d's and i definitely hear a difference from the beginning to now! something has to prove me otherwise to not get off the j.lo wagon besides this video she did. remember she's rehearsed. she has a manager who has to make sure the right ? are answered correctly. also remember enty said that the dates were fudged so this video doesn't prove to me nothing besides that she's going to stick to spanish so she can use her own voice.
