$1M Worth Of Stuff In A Chevy Yukon

I don't know what Usher was thinking. Usher apparently had $1M worth of stuff stolen out of his SUV last month. First of all who leaves a $1M worth of stuff in their SUV? Second of all who leaves it all out in plain sight at a shopping mall two weeks before Christmas? Usher said that he walked into an AT&T store and when he came out, $1M worth of furs, jewelry and electronics had been stolen including two laptops that supposedly had new songs Usher was working on. Umm, does anyone besides me think there were more than just songs on those laptops? I don't feel sorry for the guy at all. $1M worth of stuff in your SUV at a mall? That is just idiotic.

The breakdown was $1M in jewelry. $50,000 in furs and electronics and about $20,000 in cash.

  5. Sounds to me like it was an inside job - someone knew what was in that SUV.

And well said, Karen. He apparently said most of the stuff were Xmas gifts - if someone bought me a fur I'd honestly look at them like they were crazy. Then again, I'm not a fame or money whore.

  6. Don't these dudes usually roll with a posse? Where was the guy who was supposed to be watching the truck?

  7. More proof that these "talents" are so far removed from their origins that they can't remember that you don't leave valuables lying around. Hell, he can just go buy some more, no problem.

Remind me again why some of these people are famous?

  18. I hope he's got receipts, 'cuz I don't see any insurance company believing this BS.

  22. If he got ripped off because he was stupid, I feel sorry for him even if I do think he's stupid. I'm not into blame the victim.

If it's an insurance scam or hide the assets from the soon-to-be ex-wife, then I hope he gets caught and penalized.

  32. Insurance fraud? Who keeps that many high end items & cash in an auto anyway? Unless there is a security tape showing the theft, I call bullshit. If he's really that stupid I would never let him have unsupervised visits with little kids.

  33. WTF. Did he by out the entire Zales inventory. I would think that someone with his money, would have a private appointment with a high end jeweler to make these types of purchases. This is screams insurance scam.

  34. This sounds UBER-fishy to me...

(Also, Chevy doesn't make the Yukon. Chevy makes the Tahoe. GMC makes the Yukon. I thought every dude in America knew that...)

  35. Poor Usher all that Bling and not enough $$$ for a car alarm.

It's a hell of a way to extend the time needed to record album.
" All my new stuff was on my lap top. Ya know the one that got stolen."

Also a good way to cop out for not buying gifts.

"Honestly baby, that full length ermine coat was stolen from the parking lot. It was.It was. George was suppose to be with the SUV but he was jonesing for a Glazin' Raisin. I would have fired his ass but it was X-mas and all so I made like Jesus and forgave. You should too baby. Afterall it is better to FORGIVE then to receive. HEHEHE. Hey no hitting on X-mas."
