This C- list actress with B list name recognition used to be a B or B+ movie star. She then got into drugs and basically withered away her career. It happens. She had begun making a comeback last year but had to drop out of a movie because she needed surgery. What kind of surgery? Because of her past nose candy use, her entire nose had to be reconstructed and then had to have surgery on both of her cheeks as well. After taking almost an entire year off to recover she is back working and is in a big fall movie.
Brittany Murphy - At the time I wrote this she had not been kicked off The Expendables which was the fall movie. I have heard that many of the prescriptions she was taking were as a result of this surgery.

ReplyDeleteSo f-ing sad. It makes it worse when the person in question was undeniably talented and seems by all accounts to have been a wonderful, sweet, lovely person.

The whole Brittany Murphy story just gets sadder and sadder. The poor girl was plagued with image and self esteem issues. I can see why she turned to coke to self medicate those issues.

Thank God she had a will and left everything to her mom. I hope the tubby hubby doesn't contest it and try to get at her estate.

Her BWR flack Nicole Perna LIED to me because she said Britt did not do drugs... and SO DID Her half-sister Pia Jo... because she told me via email when she met up w/ her in Mississipi IN 2005, that Britt "never did drugs at all". Oh ya... what about Mommy Dearest Sharon? Sharon told the paramedics that Britt had a history of diabetes... why didn't she tell them that Britt was on meds because of Her plastic surgeries and had in the past(?) abused COCAINE? But no Sharon HID THAT. So these people were enablers ALL OVER... hiding Britt's *addiction(s)*. In fact, everyone surrounding Britt's Inner *Hollywood Circle* was/is a LIAR.
... very PI$$ED off at ALL OF *them*... SO 'NUFF SED.

ReplyDeleteI watched that interview with Craig Ferguson and she said she didn't drink b/c of how it would make her (referring to the fact that she was already a bit jittery/wound up).
I just wish someone could have helped her....

Jax, Rose McGowan was in a car accident and had a flap of her cheek hanging loose (EW!!!) so that was why she had surgery, but she clearly had her eyes done at the same time and maybe some other stuff. I'm not saying I don't think she's on drugs, but that wasn't what inspired her sudden change of look. :)

I wonder if she, like some other celebrities, Googled herself and saw the nasty comments people made about her appearance after the plastic surgery. You know, when people didn't know it was because she had succumbed to drug abuse and needed such a large reconstruction job. It was all about "what the hell is Brittany Murphy doing to her face? Doesn't she know shes gone too far?? Ew!"

BTW... if She had Google'd Her Name... then She would've seen me telling Her for YEARS that I Loved Her and to stay AWAY FROM *"Em"ma M"* and *other KREEPS*... to STOP Her TOTALLY UNNECESSARY *plastic surgeries*... because She was ALREADY SO IMMACULATELY Beautiful... to get off of *drugs* and go to REHAB... and to GET a DIVORCE from *SKUM-jackA$$* too... but She did NONE of *that*.
