#3 - Kindness - This gorgeous B- list movie and television actress with a string of hit television shows and movies as co-star but not the best luck as star doesn't always get the biggest paycheck but she is really good in donating it. In her last two projects she has donated her entire paycheck to a shelter that houses homeless women that have been the victims of domestic violence. She also volunteers her time at the shelter and tries to get as many of them jobs as possible on her productions.
#4 - Kindness - This C list comic actor who used to be A list and on what seemed like every show on a network for awhile was at an event for one of his children. The event was to raise money for music programs. The school was just trying to raise enough money for one year for one class. Our actor wrote a check that will allow the program to hire two teachers and fund their salaries for the next five years.

ReplyDeleteAnd, while I don't want to admit it, this does make me think a little bit more highly of Bob Saget. I still think he's a dirty ol' man, though.

ReplyDeleteEverything that I have ever read has indicated that Bob Saget is a douchebag...but I have to say, that is a wonderful thing that he did for that school.

I agree with Sadie, I was never a fan of Bob Saget, but he does love his kids and did a good thing.

ReplyDeleteI saw Carla Gugino at Comic-Con a couple of yrs ago (promoting Witch Mountain) and she just seemed so genuine and cool. And Saget, wow. Surprise.

The kindness reveals are always the best ones. Even a Coke Mom reveal (I know we'll never get it!) would pale next to these (of course, I am probably in the minority on that opinion).

ReplyDeleteI agree, QS. Saget may or may not be a douche, but the book store blind wasn't that bad. If I recall, wasn't it just a case of "don't you know who I am" to get out waiting in a long line? Bad yes, but not an indicator of much. It's not like he slapped each person in line as he cut in front of them.

i was suprised by the bob saget thing - i think that is AWESOME. music programs are so important in our children's schools and most of them are being totally gutted. good for him.

ReplyDeleteThought #4 was Saget from the get go. His ABC shows were the low point of human civilization but have always liked him as a comic and never blamed him for taking the paycheck. And doing something good with it, apparently
Carla Gugino is a gorgeous, beautiful woman who looks much like an old flame of mine. Hearing this blind...well, you know how bad behavior can make a pretty person ugly? I'm free to not worry about that with her.
