Aspen Gets Tough On Charlie Sheen

If Charlie Sheen is going to walk away from his alleged Christmas morning knife attack on his wife it is going to take a little more effort than he probably planned. While someone was busy stealing his SUV this morning and driving it into a ravine, Charlie was contemplating the fact that not only was he going to have stop watching so much porn when his wife comes home, but that he is going to be charged with a felony and a misdemeanor for the alleged attack on his wife.

According to TMZ, when Charlie shows up in court on Monday he will get the good news about the possibility of doing time. I'm just glad the district attorney had the guts to charge Charlie with a felony. I was afraid that with Brooke recanting and saying she doesn't remember what happened because of the booze that Charlie was going to not even get charged.

  1. Wouldn't the DA be obligated to press charges in this situation? I mean, there was a knife involved.

  3. I'm not a lawyer but I did do Grand Jury duty, as little as that qualifies me to venture anything in the way of a legal opinion.
However, that being said, you have a weapon used in an act of violence, in this case assault.
It's already on public record that he did it, so yeah, they're going to charge his ass with felonious assault and I hope that Charlie's new boyfriend isn't a fan.

  4. I'm curious about the stolen Mercedes. With all the drama, the stolen car can't just be a coincidence. It's just the latest chapter. Did Brooke return to LA from her rehab release?

    Crazy.

  6. Colorado law doesn't require cooperation of the victim to prosecute on domestic violence. I worked for a sheriff's dept out there for a while.

  8. The local LA news says Charlie reported it stolen at 4AM this morning and there was no one at the scene when the cops found it off of Mullholland near his house.

I'm skeptical that it was really stolen.

  9. Two of his cars were stolen according to Tyler Durden. A Bentley as well as his Mercedes.

  10. Apparently On-Star called Charlie at home to let him know his SUV air-bags deployed and his car was in an accident. That's how Charlie found out his car was stolen. It's pretty weird, though.
