#1 & 2 - This foreign born still A list model/reality star and her foreign born celebrity husband have lots of employees. The thing is they treat them all very, very well. Not a day goes by where they don't send someone on their staff a letter, card or e-mail which tells them how much they are appreciated. It's the little things.
#3 & 4 - At the opposite end of the spectrum is this couple which consists of a foreign born B list movie actress and her former A list movie actor husband. Not only do they regularly berate their employees and yell at them, but the actress loves to have what she calls cleaning days. Not cleaning one of their homes mind you, but cleaning out all of their employees. As in firing them all. Her other special thrill is firing someone right before they are scheduled to go on vacation.

I know someone who happened to be staying somewhere that Heidi and Seal and entourage were staying, and she said that Seal came over and talked to them and their child and was super nice, so who knows.

ReplyDeleteThere are some stories going around in the German press right now about Heidi replacing her two judges on Germany's Next Top Model without informing them herself. Neither of the judges (one of them who had been a judge since season 1) have anything really nice to say about working with her, one of them has said a couple of harsh words actually (i.e., not having her cell phone number, about her not spending any time with the contestents unless the camera was there, ...) I can't find any English articles about this but you can find plenty of German ones if you want to look them up.
ReplyDeleteJ, I won't deny that I'm a Heidi-defender here, but she spoke a few years ago about why she does not spend time with contestants on her shows: She doesn't want her judgment clouded by personal feelings. She is very German, very serious and conscientious about her duties.
ReplyDelete#1 is Heidi and not Paulina because it says "Still A list model/reality star." Paulina is no longer an A-list model (Legendary, but doesn't model anymore like Heidi), and she has been fired by Tyra Banks. Paulina is no longer 'still' either profession.
I believe that CZJ got the score of the century when that old man chased her down. He wanted to go on a date with her after seeing her in that Zorro movie. A lot of other men did, too, but MD was the richest. Gross.
If I were CZJ's assistant, I would put weight gain powder or lard in everything she ate or drank. Only 40 pounds, and CZJ would tilt more to the Delta Burke. Awesome!

ReplyDeleteMaybe Heidi and Seal are different when it comes to people who are close to them. I once had a boss who constantly slammed his desk drawers and swore worse than a sailor. But with his family? Number 1 Dad and husband. When they called, everything was dropped, even interrupted meetings for them.
ReplyDeleteI imagine there aren't many B list actresses and former A-listers who have multiple homes (has to be more than 2 otherwise I don't think that would be part of the clue). I think CZJ and MD are pretty good guesses.
What about Iman and Bowie for 1 and 2? I don't know what their reputation is in the industry -- just a suggestion since some of you have some not so nice things to say about the front runners.

It doesn't matter if you have an Oscar or not that determines whether you're A or B list. Sandra Bullock doesn't have an Oscar yet, and is considered A list...where Gwyneth Paltrow has dropped to a B. It's whether you can carry a movie on your own and if you're a box office draw (A list). a B list actress/actor is someone that can carry a movie, as long as there is another B list movie actress/actor starring along side with them. Someone like Catherine Zeta is a B list. Michael used to be an A list...but has definitely dropped.

I'm much more Iman/Bowie on this because I've heard nothing but great things about how Bowie treats his fans, and Iman seems like pure class. Though perhaps it is Heidi and Seal, who knows? But Ric Ocasek is disqualified because he was born here in the States and is as such not a "foreigner" unless this is framed from a non-American viewpoint.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if #s 3 and 4 are CZJ and Michael Douglas because Douglas comes from a family of sociopaths (the only decent one in the clan died recently) (his old man Kirk was pretty much the devil incarnate according to the mountain of stories against him), and CZJ seems like such a null that she would actually probably get off on doing bullshit like that. Eventually they'll get theirs, though; maybe their homes will fall into the sea or they'll be swindled BADLY by a Bernie Madoff type (who actually gets away with it) or something.
