Jaycee Duggard Speaks

I didn't know what to expect when I saw Good Morning America and Jaycee Duggard. I don't remember ever hearing her voice. It is amazing to me that people like Jaycee and Elizabeth Smart are able to discuss so easily what happened in their pasts. I think I might just run away forever and not speak to anyone again. Yet, here Jaycee is on Good Morning America and on prime time tonight talking about her life and what happened and what is happening now. Definitely worth the five minutes.

  2. I just can't believe how good she looks, in spite of all that.

  4. Wow. What a wreck that story is. I especially love how those two people who kept her for that long plead not guilty. HA! The best thing for them to do would be plead guilty and hope that the judge takes that into consideration when he sentences them. Unless they're going for insanity, but then they'd have to say it.

  5. "baking cookies with tenderness and hope"..?!? The reporter should be shot for writing that cheesy crap. We understand the hell this girl has gone through and that it's a miracle she's returned home with even a semblance of sanity. I love when the media talks down to its viewers.

  8. There is a ton of info. here on her case and the scumbags who kidnapped her. That slimball had the nerve to request Jaycee's address and to see his daughters since they are a "family".

Interesting how her Mother said the church was not helping them. I thought they were! I know the church released a statement saying they were helping this family.

  11. Somebody with tons of excess cash needs to step up and set things right for these girls. This never should have happened. It would be good to see some big money in California step up.

  12. I didn't hear Jaycee say anything about her ordeal. All I heard was "Hi, I'm Jaycee"

  13. Umm am I the only confused by which girl in the 'baking cookies' video is Jaycee? I mean I think they sort of make it seem like its the tall girl in the green but then towards the end of the video they make it seem like its the shorter girl. I know her half sister is younger than her but that doesn't mean shes shorter ya know? I'm just confused.. anyone know which one is Jaycee? lol

  14. May Jaycee's healing journey be easy and quick, and may the rest of her days be filled only with joy.

There would be no other reason to do this kind of show after all the crap she's been through.
