More Hiltons On Television

I had heard the rumors that one of Paris Hilton's aunts was going to be in the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. I didn't think I would have the misfortune of having to watch two of them (pictured above with Paris' mom). And yes, having to watch because for some reason I can watch that Real Housewives show every week. Hell, just sit me in front of the television on the weekend and I will watch a marathon. It doesn't matter what city, I will watch them. Joining the aunts who will probably be visited daily by Paris will be Kelsey Grammer's wife because she is not going to get on television any other way. Also there will be the woman who co-owns the Sacramento Kings and the Palms Hotel. They will all be joined by a woman who owns some restaurants. See, the producers have finally figured out the best way to save money is by having a place for everyone to travel to and a place to eat. I don't think they really need another show in another city, but I will still watch it.

  2. I think it is important to note that Kim Richards was in Escape to Witch Mountain. A favorite film from my childhood.

  4. it is kind of a crack-up that they are even trying to do this in los angeles because, let me tell you, no one with any actual relevance would EVER be so indiscreet. the only people who would consent to this are not in the game and never will be.

  9. Kathryn, I felt that way with the New York bunch. What REAL New York woman ever be so indiscreet? But, what the hell, I still watch and I'll probably watch the Beverly Hills trainwreck too.

I didn't understand the Hilton connection though. Is Kim Richards (I remember her when she was a little girl) related to Kathy?

  10. I have to admit that I will watch this show just like I watch all the other Real Housewive's shows. I'm addicted and right now I don't want to get help for it. = )

But I'm lucky because my hubby will watch it with me (oh he'll pretend he doesn't like it, but he gets just as involved as I do and even talks to my girlfriends about it).

  11. Throw these chicks in the pile with the others. I'll watch them all. I get a kick out of them and their deluded lives. Especially Alexis from OC. Jesus parted the Red Sea, hmmm? So thuper religious that one is.

  12. Kim Richards and Kyle Richards are Kathy Hilton's sisters. They are not Hiltons. They are just related to a Hilton through their sister's marriage. Kim actually has more movie and tv credits than you might think. She a more legit celeb than either of her nieces.

I see they didn't use the Hilton family plastic surgeon. Their noses are missing that distinctive bird beak tip.

  14. the fact that no real "society" woman would ever participate is exactly why I watch those shows. They are freakin hilarious. Alexis and the red sea, lol. Man, every one of those bitches are morons.

    and ku-doos to us! lol

  15. Another Alexis gem:

She got upset cause Vicki accused her of not having a job, which she doesn't, and started whining about being a mom of 3 and that's her job. It must be a really hard job when you've got 2 nanny's and no job yourself.

    and @chihuahuense
I'm glad someone else sees the humor in that Jesus gaffe.

It was Moses that did that, not Jesus. fyi sake.

  16. I remember Kim Richards from childhood movies. Wasn't she in like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or the Apple Muffin Gang or something?

Anyway, some great genes on that side of the family, IMO! They're all gorgeous, even though (no duh!) they've all had work.

  17. I watch a lot of crap television, but I only made it through about 10 minutes of the Real Housewives of OC...I just did not get it and I am really surprised that this show has lasted this long and has so many different 'spinoffs' now. But oh well. No one is forcing us to watch.

  18. OK, I remember now. Yep--Escape to WM, wasn't in The Apple Dumpling Gang but was in a ton of stuff like that during that era. Lots of TV Emergency! (God, I loved Randolph Matooth) and Nanny and the Professor.

    Ahh...70's TV was good times.

  19. Kim Richards was also in the awesome Tuff Turf movie (Netflix immediately) w/James Spader and Robert Downey Jr.

  20. Nanny and the Professor! That's the one I was trying to remember earlier.

  21. I remember Tuff Turf with Kim, also 'Hello Larry!' which was on in the 70's at some point. Kyle was on 'Little House in the Prairie', too. I think she played Alicia Edwards, Mr. Edwards' step-daughter.

'Old man Tucker was a fine old man, washed his face in a frying pan...!'

  22. So, what did Kathy do?

Was she already in a boarding school/marry-rich training program by the time the younger sisters were doing TV?

Is she that much taller than they are?

I remember loving to hear Kim Richards' voice. She still looks *wholesome* to me now.

    Gorgeous women.
