It's Dancing With The Stars Time Again

So, last week, Kate Gosselin looked like Frankenstein. From what I watched this week I think she has decided the best way to advance is to give up all independent action. All she does now is grab on to Tony and then let him drag her around the dance floor. She looks like a rag doll.

  1. she used the expression "beginner dancer" a bit loosely, but why does she complain about people's comments or magazines publishing stories? she's there in the spotlight because is she wants to, you can't expect everyone to like you.

  6. Yes, linnea, she is. If for no other reason than her attitude. Oh, and she can't dance. Praise Tivo! I don't have to suffer through her dance and interview.

  7. "Dancing" improved

    She's still a shrew

  8. Awww...poor Kate...while not a huge fan, she did improve. Plus, she is really the only non-professional on the show outside of Buzz Aldren. She isn't an actress, athlete, performer, etc and she has never danced before. I would probably be horrible.

I do wonder why her kids are never in the audience. It would be nice for them to come and root her on during spring break or something, or take a few days off. If I were her, I would demand that in my contract along with the home studio.

Anyway...she'll probably be gone tonight anyway. I do not see anything wrong with her pursuing a career. Chad had his kids in the audience...4 kids from 3 different women, none his wife, and no one is saying he's a bad father. What's wrong with a single mom trying to make a living? She's not running around drinking at bars, passing out, doing drugs, sleeping with a bunch of celebs, etc...no matter what you think of her, why is she getting so slammed? And why does her unemployed waste of an ex husband think he is a better parent?

  9. Holy schmoligans she's a whiny, self-centered, demanding, emotionally-draining BEYOTCH.

  10. Not a KG fan, nor a JG fan or DWTS fan, but one thing I can see from this clip is that she's really trying (I know, people are going to say she's trying on their nerves, but you know what I mean). Girl's got no rhythm, but let the first among us cast the first stone (well, I can dance, but at that level?)

Another thing is, you can see that she's just now starting to trust the guy dancer. When you dance like that, you really do have to trust him. to do a move like they did at the end, you've gotta have trust. i don't blame her for not having trust in people!

  11. I don't understand why Kate or Jon do not have jobs? Kate was a nurse before. Take a few shifts a week, for medical insurance alone, instead of tanning, manicures and so on. I would respect her a lot more.

  12. @Ice Angel

No one on that show is a professional dancer so that excuse doesn't fly. With the exception of possibly Nicole S. none of them are experienced dancers, they are all learning the dances.
People don't like her being is bitchy and obnoxious and for the most part are tired of seeing her.
And the only reason she is on the show is to continue to remain relevant and earn more money. I can't knock her hustle but she needs to realize that she IS NOT LIKED by a majority of people. Whining and complaining isn't going to make things change, only make them worse.

  13. I get it J, but my opinion is that many of the celebs have an upper hand. You cannot tell me that Evan's ice skating experience does not help. All competitive skaters take dance training. Plus, he is an athlete and knows how to move and work his body. Ballroom dancing is actually a sport in that it takes coordination, but also stage presence. I honestly wish Kate wasn't such a freaking sour puss all the time too, because I would probably like her better.

But why should she take a few shifts as a nurse when she has an opportunity to make a LOT more by doing this and other things. I honestly know that I would!

  14. Holy crap. Can we vote of that terrible band?

  15. Jon and Kate are not poor. They made millions from the show, books, and speaking engagements. They both play the victim card and it gets a little old.

I'm glad that the kids aren't being pulled out of school and thrown on camera for our amusement. The twins missed enough school when the Jon & Kate show was taping. Plus, they'd have to bring their fleet of nannies and Kate likes to pretend that they don't exist.

Kate's new book comes out today. She "shares" personal letters she wrote to each of her children and exploits their pain over the divorce. I have no idea why she's doing this except to make more money. This woman is vile and a money hungry fame whore.

  16. Oh..and because she is a mom, she should not care about her appearance? I know I would probably care about mine a lot more if I had cameras following me everywhere.

The thing that does get me mad is that she is hypocrite by saying that her life shouldn't be played out in the press. That is an unfortunate part of being a celebrity, and although she has always denied being a celeb, she certainly is labeled one now, as a celebrity dancer.

  17. she's so full of shit. her geriatric dance moves are mundane. there is no energy, no passion for movement, she doesn't even prance thru her steps, 1st year 3 year olds at least prance. she just walks, he pivots her in another direction and then she walks, just slogging thru her dress and so forth. i can dance at this level, actually, i dance beyond this level. and she sucks monkey balls. yuck, this show is sooooo offensive. i shouldn't have watched this.

  18. Oh please... everyone's perception of reality is warped. Her dance instructor tells her that if she "loses" this week, then Jon wins. What kind of crap is that to be telling a woman with two left feet? And what does her lack of talent have to do with her divorce?

Then she starts complaining about how she wakes up every morning and turns on the news to see how her divorce is playing out in public. Well, she did it to herself! I couldn't watch anymore!

The Gosselins have learned to live beyond their means and they need their TV show to stay afloat. If I was her, I would cut back on the spending, sell the farm (er.. house) and move to a smaller place. Neither she nor Jon can support the lifestyles they have now without cutting back -- even if they remain media whores. BTW -- there is no way in hell that Jon Gosselin can afford to pay her $20,000 per month in child support. No way!

  19. Penelope: did he actually say that to her? I don't remember, but I thought he was referring more to "if you quit...then he wins."

  20. I can't stand Kate. I watch the show, but leave the room when she attempts to dance. I thought about just not watching it all because she was on it, but I really enjoy the show for the most part and want to watch everybody else. I have quit watching the results show though. Shannon being voted off and not Kate was enough for me to quit watching. I will start watching it again once Kate is gone. Hopefully tonight, fingers crossed. I have been praying to the god of bitch to take her home.

  21. At the outset I asked myself, "Gee, I wonder who's going to win this year? The Olympic ice skater? The trained dancer/singer? The 80-year-old astronaut?" It's ridiculous! Last year, it came down to two people with professional training who'd been doing this most of their lives--shocker! This year, again, the scales are tipped so unfavorably it's hardly worth watching, yet I do, with the exception of Nicole and Derek, against whom I have my own personal boycott for that very reason.

  22. @ ice angel:
as i've mentioned before, i WAS a competitive ice skater when i was a kid, back in the days when figures were most of our scores.
to this day, i can't dance a lick. i can do what we call "seat dancing"-- i shake my butt and wave my arms around at a concert-- but i'm usually pretty toasted and everybody else is doing the same thing!
the last high school i transferred to tried to have me make up four years of phys ed in one semester, and i tried "modern dance" with ice moves, and did miserably (mom finally talked them into using my skating as credit)!
but hey, my big brother, who taught me almost everything, can't dance either, so what the hell?
    :)
