More Steven Seagal Allegations

Each day, more and more women are coming forward with their allegations of sexual harassment or abuse at the hands of Steven Seagal. This weekend, and unidentified woman who said she was hired to be an actress in the movie "Out For Justice," told the NY Post that she and other women on the set were told to show up at Steven's trailer or hotel room to be naked for him or to perform other sexual acts. When she refused, she says she was fired from the movie. At the time these events occurred, Steven was still married to Kelly LeBrock.

"The wardrobe girl gave me a tacky corset and a tiny skirt and told me, 'He wants you to try this on,' [and] . . . led me into the bedroom. As soon as I undressed, he tried to come in. I didn't have a top on, so I pushed the door closed and screamed. When I came out, my boobs were hanging out. I was offered a contract."

"At least two other actresses on the set had beepers. He would beep them to go to his hotel room at night. His then-wife Kelly LeBrock was suspicious and showed up on set. She had just given birth to their son. I felt so bad for her. One night, he called me at home . . . he said, 'Do you want to come to my hotel room?' I said, 'I don't feel comfortable with that.' He asked if I wanted to perform a sex act on him. I said, 'I have a boyfriend and you are married.' Days later I was released -- technically, fired."

None of this surprises me. I just wish people had come forward sooner. I think a lot of the people coming forward now are doing so because Jenny McCarthy did. Of course when Jenny did come forward before, no one really paid attention so I can see why someone who is not as big of a star as Jenny would feel scared to lose out on possible jobs especially if no one is going to listen to them or take it seriously anyway.

  4. There is also the fear that you will no longer be called in for jobs in the industry if you don't play along. Several actresses have had to endure that crap and feel that it is a rite of passage to becoming an A-list celebrity.

  7. He's a great example of Instant Karma. When you exercise all the powers of douche life gives you, rest assured they will disappear just as quickly, and you will live out your days as a fat, sweaty, international JOKE.

  8. Sigh. I can only hope that stories coming out like this make it easier for women in the biz one day to be able to say "no". What a male-driven industry.

  12. Well the good news is he is a joke in the industry and is now bottom of the barrel on basic cable reality show. Which looks like with all this bad press A&E will drop the show and kudos to the police chief for suspending filming.

In 1987 my friend auditioned for James Toback's The Pick Up Artist with Robert Downey Jr. She told me she was approached by a casting agent to meet with the Director for a role in his movie (he liked her "look"). She thought this was going to be her ticket out of Brooklyn.

She met James alone in an office and he told her to suck on his nipples. That's it just suck his nipples. Her being a free spirted girl did, hoping it would get her role. She never heard from James or the casting agent again.

Oh, and the girl who got the part.

    Vanessa Williams.

Sad, people can be so creepy when given a little power.
