A new Sex And The City 2 trailer is out. Guess what? Our hopes that Miley Cyrus would somehow hit the cutting room floor and not show up in the movie have been dashed. She is in the trailer. So is Penelope Cruz and John Corbett.
So they went to the UAE, the place where a British couple was recently convicted and given jail time for kissing in public, as witnessed by a two-year old child who told the mother?
looks like it follows a similar formula to the first movie - bliss, tension, trip to exotic place, unexpected surprise, celebrity appearances, happy ending.
I'm only marginally familiar with the series, didn't watch #1 because of lack of interest, however (and I'm probably going to lose an assload of man points for this) it actually looks watchable, Miley issues aside. I won't see it in a theatre though, I'll wait until it hits DVD.
There's something about the friendship of these 4 that just gets to me. In a good way! Contrary to my foreboding (GOOP approved word) about the 1st movie, it was GOOD. I even rewatched it (a rarity for me). So I will also watch the hell out of this one And I *heart* me some Aiden!!!
Oh .. okay. It actually looks like it might actually be kinda good. Maybe they cut out all the crap flash-back stuff from the 80's?? [We can hope!] And the Aidan story line looks to be pretty interesting. [John Corbett is a cutie pie!!] So .. okay .. ya. I am looking forward to this movie now.
Oh! And I missed Miley in the clip too. I guess maybe I have "Miley aphasia??" LOL!!
