Today's Blind Items - Competition For Coke Mom?
I know I have not written about Coke Mom in awhile, but I may have found someone better. Well, not a better mom, but this person is a much bigger star. Much. Like A list movie actress big or very, very close to it. Anyway, our actress has always come across as the victim or the martyr in her personal life. However, if you dig a little deeper under the surface you will see that she has issues. Now that she is alone again she has big issues. While you may see her with her child/ren out on the streets or something, that is the only time she spends with her child/ren. The rest of the time she sits in her bedroom, watching movies and television and shooting up. She has the most ridiculous heroin habit and the only time she sees sunlight is when she takes her child/ren somewhere to keep up appearances.
Kate Beckinsale? I dunno, I suck at these...

She lied about all her plastic surgery, and has regularly played the victim in all her failed relationships, although I do know some were abusive, she seems to drive men away. Plus, didn't she beat Gabriel Aubry to the punch and make it seem like their age difference and his wandering eye had to do with their breakup? At least that was what everyone "close" to her were reporting, and I am not so convinced Hmmm. So sad if she IS shooting up and ignoring her kid

@Jessica. She has been in abusive/controlling relationships and lost her hearing in one ear due to a beating. The slant on stories about her is always, she's so pretty but unlucky in love. Why do bad things happen to her? Poor Halle.

ReplyDeleteThis is SO Halle Berry; Everything fits and makes perfect sense why Gabriel Aubry would be trying to get full custody. I've always thought Halle Berry had a screw loose and this doesn't surprise me, people with "issue's" like hers generally do try to check out of reality. What a shame for that adorable daughter.

Wouldn't having a ridiculous heroin habit have a VERY obvious effect on your appearance? Apart from being thinner, Halle looks just as fresh and amazing as she always did. Think Amy Winehouse - that's not Halle. Plus, wouldn't someone with a heroin habit have erratic behavior? Doesn't a drug like that pretty much consume you? This sounds a little dramatized for effect because I can' think of any celeb who looks as bad as you would with this kind of habit.

ReplyDeleteno, it doesn't sound like Sarah Jessica Parker. Just because she has the body of drug addict doesn't mean this is her. She is still in a long-term marriage with M. Broderick. I'm going with Robin Wright (I'm pretty sure she dropped the Penn). She's always been able to coast along on her reputation of being treated horribly by Sean Penn, it would not surprise me at all if he put up with her using drugs during their marriage, and, frankly, the woman looks like sh*t run over lately. Sometimes I see pictures of her and she reminds me of a white Whitney Houston.

I don't believe Kate Winslet nor SJP have ever been viewed nor presented themselves as victims in their personal lives. Neither has Reese W., for that matter. That was the first thing mentioned in this BI after A-list or very close to it. At first I thought about Aniston, then child/ren is/are mentioned. I'm jumping on the Halle train. Remember David Justice & Eric Benet. Berry did win an Oscar, but her work since has been less than A-list, except for X2 and Last Stand (at least in Box Office numbers).

ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I also first thought of SJP. Lainey implied last year that she was using lots of coke because Matthew essentially ignores her. And he regularly looks annoyed whenever he's around her.
That being said, the Halle guess is very good - she just doesn't LOOK unhealthy, is the problem for me. Gorgeous and curvy as ever.
My second guess will be Susan Sarandon.
Halle looks way too good to be an H addict AND diabetic. With a combo like that it doesn't take long to see signs, and I don't see them in Halle.

I agree that lots of the clues point to Halle, but I also completely agree with everyone who says that she looks very healthy. Maybe a little skinny, but not so much by Hollywood skinny standards. Robin Wright certainly looks like an addict. So does her ex, Sean. Maybe they did drugs together, which is what kept them together all those years in spite of seeming miserable.

ReplyDeleteI don't believe Halle ever actually adopted her step-daughter. He might have cheated, but the interview I read, Eric Benet wouldn't go into detail whether or not Halle kept in contact with the little girl when they split up (and she obviously hasn't).
I think she used Gabriel for a babydaddy and after she got what she want, she didn't need him anymore.
I don't know about the heroin thing though.

On the question of whether or not an addiction like that would make you look bad --
ReplyDeleteI had a good friend friend who was a heroin addict, during my worst methamphetamine addiction period. And while I was skinny, and he was a little flabby, we weren't that different from the non-junkies who had subway sandwich and potato chip addictions. The biggest problem with drug addiction is hygiene and hydration, and getting enough calories into your metabolism to prevent "wasting." Most professional models are heavy drug users, and they just paint the face and send her out to work. As long as the handlers do their job and make sure you shower daily or twice-daily, as well as some Gatorade and a little food, you'll be just like everyone else in the industry.

ReplyDeleteDitto to what Barton Fink said. I used to work in an ER and we had a lot of junkies come in. Some were obvious and others were shocking. I remember one guy was brought in wearing a gorgeous suit and in amazing physical shape - he definitely worked out. But he also had a serious, long running heroin addiction. No way would anyone have guessed by looking at him.

Not surprised that she as a bad rep; I always hated to hear her go on and on about being a black actress when her mother is white, she has caucasian features and doesn't look like your (dare I use this word?) stereotypical woman of color. I saw her photographed with her mom once at some red carpet event and I thought she was posing with Judi Dench.

As long as heroin addicts get their fix and they don't overdose, share dirty needles, or get "bad stuff", they can live just as long as you or I will. An A lister (or almost A lister) can keep a steady supply of the drug and get the best there is, and won't need to resort to sharing dirty needles with other junkies. Whoever this is would probably shock the hell out of us.

You guys are way too Hollywood in your perception of what a heroin addict "must look like"! When I worked at Planned Parenthood we would see junkies from every walk of life and at least 50% of them looked like your mom, sister, girlfriend. I have no doubt that Angelina Jolie is still using, and I see Halle Berry as the object of this blind. (if it's true)

ReplyDeleteAs for shooting up: think about where you've had people draw blood for labs. Do you have a needle mark there? probably not. Addicts can shoot anything up intravenously where there's a vein. "Tracks" come from repeatedly using the same site. But if you use your right elbow on Monday, your left elbow on Tuesday, your foot on Wednesday, etc, you probably could go awhile before you'd leave marks that would scar. Given that this person has a lot of disposable income for sterile needles, my guess is that she wouldn't be getting infections, etc.
I'll throw my hat into the Halle ring.

heroin itself doesn't make you skinny - just fyi. it's a nervous system depressant, not a stimulant like coke or meth.
ReplyDeleteskinny junkies are usually skinny because they shoot speedballs (heroin + coke), or because they're so deep into addiction that they're constantly too high to remember to eat. the subject of this blind has kids, and apparently a movie career that is prolific enough to classify her as a list - how many celebrity addicts have enablers to help prop them up?
nicole richie was a chubby (heroin) addict, john belushi, chris farley, dj am (before getting clean and getting gastric bypass).

(i.e. Some kind of substance abuse problem). You have to ask yourself, why are they always getting dumped? Both of them are gorgeous, super rich and famous. Why wouldn't a guy want to hang around?

Re: Gabriel...Maybe he is really being paid to go w/ Halle while she shoots in S.Africa b/c he is worried about the baby alone with mommy for so long. Just a thought.
Halle Berry famously claimed she had cured her type 1 diabetes with diet and exercise. The Diabetes Association was very upset with her misinformation because type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune disease and can't yet be cured. Turns out Halle was diagnosed with "diabetes" by one doctor when she first came to Hollywood and therefore likely had type 2 diabetes (which is more of a lifestyle/metabolic disorder). She only needed insulin for a brief period and with diet and exercise changes, she eventually didn't need insulin or diabetic meds at all. She (or the somewhat incompetent doctor) likely mislabeled her as type 1 (usually strikes in childhood) instead of type 2 (the more common, and potentially "curable" type).

ReplyDeletejust FYI. you have veins all over your body and any of them will do. the antecubital space---in the bend of your arm, is the one everybody thinks of, but you can inject heroin (or anything else for that matter) into a vein on top of your thumb, in your thigh or anywhere you can hit one. so don't focus on the sleeveless thing---i've taken care of many junkies who avoided the arms for that very reason.

I like the Halle guess, but I would've never thought that about her in a million years. In fact I had no idea about all of her issues until I read everyones comments. BUT ITA with Barton and the rest, not all junkies look like The Winehouse. Shit I did Meth for almost 7-8 years and it wasn't till the last year that people started noticing. And that was only because I wasn't working, and I was doing some really fucked up shit...You can control what you look like. It just depends on you and your environment. I do have to say though, I consider Halle A-List.
Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler are great guesses. Liv I would be shocked about, only because of Stevens addictions.
Whomever this is, it's just sad..I hope they get help!

ReplyDeleteThe track marks would be a big give away; too big to for Revlon to ignore. I'm sure Ms. Berry has her issues, but I don't think shooting up is one. Rumored drug use for her has always been needle free. And she is almost always bare armed.

Halle Berry is a great guess and the first person I thought of, but she is DEFINITELY an A-list. Oscar winner and Golden Globe winner, and she was also part of a successful franchise (X-men). Oh and if Nicole Kidman who hasn't had a successful movie in close to 10 years can still be considered A-list then so is Halle.
I think we are off, especially since Enty loves Halle so much, I think he would have mentioned how disappointed he was if it was her.
I think it's Katie Holmes.

ReplyDeleteShe's eternally a victim, forcing Eric Benet to say he was a sex addict when he simply cheated. She has dogged Gabe horribly since the news of the split became public, saying she was pulling all the weight, yada, yada, yada. According to her, Wesley Snipes beat her so badly, she lost her hearing. David Justice is HORRID if you take Halle's word. She ALWAYS solicits sympathy.
Her A-list status is questioned b/c she's been in one bomb after another since winning the Oscar. Dig deeper under the surface? WOW. Its the worst kept secret that Halle has serious ISSUES. She's neurotic, insecure, selfish and a total b*tch. I know a guy that dated her & he insists she's a whack job, always nagging, throwing around her status & belittling her men. Its always been said, but hidden very well. She has a great team thats why the hit & run came & went. Halle was/is also a casting couch alumnae. Ever wonder how she got roles? She's an average actress, just pretty. I've only heard one crazy blogger allude to any drug use, but this blogger called Halle a crackhead. Never heard about any H.
You can shoot H in MANY places besides the arm. Veins run throughout the body, duh! She hasn't really done anything lately besides the zoo & park with Nahla. IMO she looks beat up underneath the make-up.
This blind fits her like a glove.

I don't think it is HB because even though you can shoot in inconspicuous places you will loose those veins and if you are a long term addict (it can take months or years or in my case days) to need to move on into better veins. Legs work, but HB wears a lotta shorts. I don't see covering up marks to run to the store or whatever. Anyone agree?

Just because Michelle W. broke up with Heath over drugs doesn't mean she wouldn't do them. My friend lost her baby's father to an od while she pregnant and later became strung out on the same thing that killed him.
I use to be a meth head, smoking it or snorting it made me gag, so I shot it. I had trouble with my arms so I always shot in the inside of my ankle, or above the heel of my foot or on my hand. None of those places are detectable. The backside of my hand would occasional scab over if I used it too much, but then I would just move on.
ReplyDeleteim feeling the halle guess, too. when i heard that gabriel was going to try and seek full-custody i thought that it was really weird and came totally out of left field but this would def explain it. the jenny mccarthy and katie holmes guesses are good too (leaning more towards katie, def a martyr).

Not Michelle Williams. She's on a promotional tour right now with Ryan Gossling for their new moves. She's not sitting around in her room watching moves and TV. This BI sounds like someone who isn't working at the moment.
ReplyDeleteNot Katie Holmes. I doubt Scientologist King Tom Cruise would allow her to put toxins in to her body. Scientology has this thing about bodies being pure. Also, Katie stays pretty busy. She takes dance classes everyday and is designing a clothing line. Katie's also never played the victim. She's always "so happy" and "blessed".
Not Kate Hudson. When has she ever been a victim? She seems pretty happy bouncing from man to man and living up the free and single life, not to mention that she's always working. Kate's also photographed working out and hanging out on the beach a lot, so she's not sitting around locked up in her room either.
Halle Berry fits... but does anyone else? Uma's been mentioned. I don't know much about Uma though to say if she's played the martyr card. Robin Wright also fits.
Uma was married to Garry Oldman, but I don't think she's said much about the short marriage except that it's didn't really count b/c she was only 20. Ethan cheated on her but she doesn't seem to talk much about her private life, or if she does, those interviews don't get much attention.

The victim in personal life clue does not necessairly have to refer to marriages/relationships. Kate recently gave an interview with the daily mail??? where she portrayed her childhood as very unstable, poor, etc, and that she was always ganged up on in school and made fun of about her weight. She got a lot of flack for it as she really exagerratted her upbringing and embarrassed her family. Also, she had a serious boyfriend when she was younger who committed suicide & she frequently talks about her grief about it. There were also rumors that Sam Mendes left her for younger actress.
"Keeping Up Appearances" - is a very famous & long-running British sitcom. Kate starred in a show in her teens in England called "Get Back." On the show she played the daughter of one of the stars of Keeping Up Appearances who's name is Rose. Like Kate's in the Titanic.
Kate uses the word "ridiculous" alot in interviews.

ReplyDeleteMy bad! The word "spotted" is used in the Gawker/Defamer blind item intro, not here. I got confused. Gawker/Defamers site intros the blind items by saying: "She only leaves the house to get SPOTTED with her kids."

Also, she only just started filming this movie. She filmed for a few days in april and just resumed again last week. Plenty of time to spend the interim in her bedroom.
Apparently she was bruised while playing basketball with her kids. Maybe she was bruised from shooting something but i doubt it was a basketball.

Kate Winslet just won an academy award for The Reader and was nominated in those very same academy awards for another Best Actress for Revolutionary Road. There is no way anyone here who knows anything about the business could consider her "almost A-List". You win a recent Academy award and are nominated for two the same year, you are WAY past A++ list. And I'm not saying that bc I think shes awesome or anything.
