Today's Blind Items

This married A list television star on a very hit network show always has portrayed himself as the ideal family man. He always mentions his wife in interviews, and when they make one of their infrequent appearances together he always appears to be the loving husband. The reality is that he has slept with about 10 people from his show ranging from crew to extras to cast. Considering the other guys on this network you wouldn't think he would be king of the cheats, but he is.

  1. Aw, please don't be Hugh Laurie.

  2. I hope I am wrong, but Mark Harmon came to mind.

  3. Matthew Fox?

Interesting that the blind says "people" and not "women".

  4. craig t. nelson from parenthood/nbc? but i don't know that he's a-list or that the show's a hit.

  5. Agreed delcodave. That's the first person who came to mind for me as well.

  6. I was thinking someone from one of the ABC shows.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Steve Carell was the first name that popped into my head as well...

    ReplyDelete
  8. NCIS and The Mentalist are the two top-rated scripted shows. I'd say Mark Harmon is A-list. I'd say Simon Baker is more B-list. Hope it's not Harmon though, I've always liked him.

  10. I think that it is probably a CBS show. The comment about "the other guys on this network" seems like a reference to Charlie Sheen.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It seems like Steve Carrell and his wife are frequently photographed together, so I don't think it's him.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Could be House with the other guys on the network being Boreanaz and Ramsey.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Do you think there's any way it could be a CBS show? How could Charlie Sheen ever come in second to anyone in cheating?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Chris O'Donnell?
    Gary Sinise?
    Laurence Fishburne?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm thinking is Mark Harmon, with CBS as the network with competition for king of cheats. I think he's great, but I can see him being a subtle Lothario.

  16. Paisley, I like your guess and reasoning.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Dempsey immediately comes to mind

But would these rumors be new? I could have sworn he was in another cheating blind.

    You'd expect this from Dane

  18. Patrick Dempsey is my guess, but it could be anyone mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dempsey IMMEDIATELY came to mind.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Why not Boreanaz? I know he has recently been uncovered as a cheat, but maybe it could still be him?

    ReplyDelete
  21. COULD THIS BE A MV REVEAL today in the photo comments???? Enty says "Jennifer Lopez at the World Music Awards, well, because, umm, oh yeah, her husband makes music."

    ???

    ReplyDelete
  22. All you people that said Mark Harmon - Bite your tongues off !
I would be devastated if it were him !

    ReplyDelete
  23. Dempsey was my first thought.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hugh Laurie...Talks about spending time with this family in England when he gets the chance...Yada, yada, yada.

    ReplyDelete
  25. What about Chris Meloni? The last sentence makes me think it's not an ABC show; plus McSteamy and McDreamy are seen with their wives alot.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lately it seems that the only decent, faithful people left are fictional characters. That's pretty sad.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hugh Laurie, it's not quite often that we get to see him with her wife. And maybe king is a clue for "Street Kings"

    ReplyDelete
  28. CBS could include Sheen and Lettermanas the other cheats

    ReplyDelete
  29. I still think Rob Lowe is a sex addict but is just more clever about hiding it vs. a Charlie Sheen type.

    My guess is Rob Lowe

    ReplyDelete
  30. its simon barker mark harmon does very few interviews

    ReplyDelete
  31. Definitely Patrick Dempsey. There have been these rumours before (does anyone else remember the rumours about him and Amy Adams a few years ago?)

    ReplyDelete
  32. My vote goes for Dempsey, given the number of attractive...people... on Grey's and I'm sure the crew would be all over him.

For those guessing Carell, the cast of the Office aren't exactly the type of you'd sleep around with, heh.

    ReplyDelete
  33. i'm going with Dempsey...and might i add i don't really get his appeal. but i know i'm alone on that one, and i'm ok with that :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't know if anyone remembers Dempsey in FFF. If I were a man and that small, I wouldn't let anyone take my picture naked. So, while I think it is him, I wonder if her gets any repeat business?

    ReplyDelete
  35. what is FFF? i may have to look it up! haha!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Dempsey was the first name that came into my head. Cause when the wifey is on the red carpet with him he always makes it clear that he's Mr. Happily Married with children.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Full frontal fridays. Mrs. M5. Wow there hasn't been one of those in awhile!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I worked with Mark Harmon and he is as straight and narrow as they come--he has his medallion from his altar boy days welded to the top of his gear shift--I seriously doubt this is him--he wouldn't pee in the shower.

  39. OT: John Travolta and his wife have announced they are expecting a baby:

  40. Seriously, if it's Hugh Laurie, on a purely selfish note, I needs to get a job at Fox!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Bitterella, Thank you, thank you !!

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's a CBS show for sure. Letterman and Sheen are on that network.

I feel like "king" would be a clue. Be back in a minute.

    ReplyDelete
  43. My first thought was Hugh Laurie.

    ReplyDelete
  44. This may be off base but maybe it's one of the shows previously distributed by KingWorld Productions. According to Wikipedia:
"King World was responsible for the highest rated shows in syndication for over two decades. They also had the television rights to a large library of theatrical films. When it was acquired by CBS Enterprises in 2000, it distributed a number of CBS-produced series for syndication, such as Everybody Loves Raymond (ancillary rights to this series are owned by HBO), CSI and Touched by an Angel."

It seems like it would take a while to work your way through 10 people on one show, so it's probably been on the air for a while...

    ReplyDelete
  45. oh holy cow...i knew that! it really has been far to long hasn't it? hahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  46. oh, and i'm NOT going to look that one up. doesn't sound like it would be worth my time ;)

    ReplyDelete
  47. i immediately thought... the guy who plays sawyer on lost... because matthew fox has been accused of cheating and balthazar getty of brothers and sisters cheated... but hell there are guys on every network being accused of cheating! it could be anyone! : )

    ReplyDelete
  48. it's kevin james. they don't call him the king of "queens" for nothin....

    ReplyDelete
  49. kitty litter, I thought that too. But hasn't King of Queens been off the air for a while?

I'm gonna say Gary Sinise. He's on CBS, his show gets good ratings, and he lives his public life like a boy scout.

    ReplyDelete
  50. NOT Hugh Laurie - insider info is solid; he is the real deal. Great actor, great guy.

Patrick Dempsey, Mark Harmon or Simon Baker.

You rarely do see Harmon with wife Pam Dawber, and he rarely does interviews though...

    ReplyDelete
  51. No way is it Mark Harmon. Patrick Dempsey yes, but his wife is some makeup artist chick, who when she married him, he got her connections in the makeup world to give her a world-class job.

    ReplyDelete
  52. My first thought was Patrick Dempsey, but honestly, it could be anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I thought Hugh Laurie and his missus had separated?

Mork would beam Mark Harmon's ass to Ork if he ever cheated on Mindy.

    ReplyDelete
  54. My first thought was Dempsey, but then wouldn't it be known that he's a cheater since that is the way his first marriage ended. It wasn't a fact that he hid.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I agree with the Hugh Laurie guess, because I definitely recall him and his wife almost divorcing before House due to him cheating on her.

On a side note, my husband looks SO much like Hugh Laurie!

    ReplyDelete
  56. You know, I was hoping that the definitive answer would have been given by now. I have no idea who this could be -- the clues are all over the place ("people" instead of "women" seems like a red herring, sadly), but the one thing that should be easily tracked down is that he mentions his wife in every interview and has portrayed himself as the ideal family man. Who does that?

    ReplyDelete
  57. I'm in with Hugh Laurie only because he's in the random photo section today.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Chris O'Donnell, perhaps?

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/19/chris-odonnell-talks-abou_n_581756.html

    ReplyDelete
  59. Not Patrick Dempsey, inside info and reports are that he is a great guy and truly devoted to wife & 3 kids. Wife is with him at almost all public appearances.Doing a TV show, 2 movies,
driving with his race car team, raising funds for his Cancer Wellness Center in Maine, commercials and ad shoots wouldn't leave him any time for cheating, if he was so inclined.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Patrick Dempsey for sure, I've heard several times from insiders that he cheats on his wife.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think it's someone from CBS (Charlie Sheen is king whore) but not Mark Harmon, he's as real as it gets. I would say Michael Weatherly because he's notorious for being flirtatious, although he's not exactly A-list. He got married sometime in the last few years and does name-drop his wife. He does mix work with play, Jessica Alba anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Robert Knepper : he always mentions his wife in interviews but I know first hand that he cheats on her.
