Random Photos Part One - With Reader Photos

Four parts today.

Reader Photo #1

Reader Photo #2 - (and yes, that is Mark Ruffalo)
Sonja Morgan was out promoting Real Housewives just a day after being arrested for DUI. Here she is with Alex McCord.
Guess. Go ahead and guess. Give up? Sinead O'Connor.
Always recognizable is Simon Rex.
Finally, someone at Sesame Street put Grover in a picture. They always just have Elmo. For me it will always be Grover. Oh, and Oscar and the Cookie Monster.
Steven Van Zandt & Southside Johnny - New York City
I always expect to see Tony Hawk with a helmet and skateboard. Seems strange when he doesn't have them.
Many of the Twilight women posing for Vanity Fair. That is Dakota Fanning in the middle.
Meanwhile, some of their cast mates were in Seoul.
In other vampire news, it seems that Vampire Diaries is very popular in the UK.
And finally, one last vampire, Peter Facinelli with Jennie Garth in New York.
This dancer's name is Y Not. Well, I can think of a bunch of reasons Y Not to do this.

  1. Sinead O'Connor looks completely unrecognizeable. wow!
    I love Jenny Garth's dress.
I just recently started watching Vampire Diaries. I like it. Please don't judge me.

  2. I would have never guessed that was Sinead O'Connor.

  3. I <3 Grover too, Enty!!!

  4. Oof! Sonja does look a little rough/hung over...

I'm getting a crush on Peter Facinelli...even though he's such an asshole on Nurse Jackie.

Y not? Because you'll pull a bloody groin muscle!

  5. Yay for reader photos at the TOP! Am SUPER jealous of whoever it was who got to pose with Ruffalo!

Now that is weird. Weren't we all positive a couple of weeks ago that Jennie must be pregnant again? The right dress makes all the difference, I guess!

I don't like Ian S's hair like that. Actually, or the hair of the other guy from that show, now that I look at it.

Enty, have you ever heard anything untoward about Dakota Fanning? A friend of mine here in Vancouver swears she likes blow...a lot and has a friend of a friend of a friend (etc.) who has partied with her. I was just so shocked because she's the last person I would have suspected. I guess I"m naive.

  6. I was just going to say the same thing...reader #2, I am very jealous...*L*

  7. Love Jennie G's dress. I guess this swings the pregnancy rumors back toward "No". She looks great and def not preggers there.

I'm a huge fan of Vampire Diaries. I thought it would be campy fun but it's really good! Fast-paced, great plotting and storylines (they do a great job of keeping many characters involved and relevant) and oh the pretty. So much pretty. LOVE it. Give it a try if you're on the fence.

The Monster at the End of This Book is probably one of my all-time favorite children's storybooks. I still have my original copy and you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands before I'd get rid of it. Grover Forever!

  8. jealous of reader #2. And beautiful pictures, both of you!

Why don't those Real Housewives have drivers? If I was rich, I would have a driver always so I could be drunk whenever where ever.

  9. It's nice to see some readers! BTW totally jelaous of reader #2
-Both Simon and Tony look rough.
-Is Vampire Diaries good or interesting? I might give it a chance.

  10. @redfishbluefish -- Monster at the End of this Book is the BEST!! I used to pretend the page he covered in bricks was almost too hard to turn. I always read that when I'm supposed to help out at any of my daughters' preschool. The kids are always on the edge of their seat!

  11. Pretty reader photos.

Reader #2 Mark seems nice. Do you know him personally and if so is he a sweetheart?

  12. Is it me or is Jennie Garth looking a little like Melanie Griffith in that photo?

And on the Sinead picture, its hard to believe that she is the same stunningly beautiful woman (okay, at least to me) from the "Nothing Compares 2 U" video from the 1980's...She was a gorgeous bald woman back in the day!

I hope that first part (about Sinead) made sense. The, was stunningly beautiful to now, unrecognizable-and-that-gray-hair-isn't-helping-you-age-well woman.

  14. Wow, Dakota looks beautiful!
I am in love with Mark Ruffalo. My cousin's cousin was in that Jennifer Garth/Mark Ruffalo movie (he played Mark's character as a child). Supposed to be a nice, humble guy. Shy.
There's something about Simon, I agree.
I have always thought Jennie was beautiful.
    I have always been Grover's #1 fan!!!

  15. The makeup artists for Twilight should take a lesson from the makeup people at Vanity Fair.

  16. I also still have my original of "Monster at the end of this book" (with the gold colored binding and all). It was my favorite as a child and now it is my daughter's favorite.

  17. Well, I'm almost afraid to say it, but ...

that is me with Mark Ruffalo!!!!!!

I met him at Sundance. I talked with him after seeing a screening of the first feature film he's directed, "Sympathy for Delicious," starring his friend, Christopher Thornton (also met Chris). He sat a couple seats down from me during the screening to gauge the audience's reaction.

I told Mark I was very impressed with his film and that he made it look effortless. He was soooo sweet and I swear he blushed when he laughed and said, "It wasn't effortless!"

I also talked to him and Chris about a project (fingers crossed!)

The photo was taken after the closing night awards when he got a special grand jury prize for "Sympathy." He was walking on air, I tell you!!!

From everything that I saw and heard from those two encounters, I would say that he's a very down-to-earth nice guy!

I hope "Sympathy" gets distribution, because it is a very good film with a great message. It came about after Chris became paralyzed (they've been friends for years since acting school). Chris complained about how there aren't good roles for paraplegics and Mark said, "So? Why don't you write one?" Ten years later, "Sympathy for Delicious."

  18. Love Mark Ruffalo.. Glad to hear he is down to earth, Nunaurbiz!! Such a cutie, so sad about his brother.. :(

Sinead. WTF.. I would never have guessed it. Never.

This is the first time I have actually liked something Kstew is wearing. But I do have to admit, I have no fashion sense.. (just ask my gay's, who are also my rooomies and best friends)... But I think she looks nice. For once.
Side note: Not a Twilight fan. Never read and books or seen any movies. I don't even know why I typed that last sentence.. Must be the Jameson's talking

Okay.. Who is in the first Reader Photo?
C'mon.. It's no fun if we can't put a face to the username, is it? :P

  20. It's a sad, SAD day when Susan Boyle has more sex appeal than Sinead O'Connor. She looks like my school teacher in that photo .. which grade? ALL of them rolled into one!

  21. I agree, there certainly is something "mmmmmmm" about dirt nasty. Every time I see him, it brings me back to when MTV actually played music videos

  22. WOAH....I'm reader #1. Thanks for the top spot, Enty! I'm sitting in a fake pick up truck at the Mardi Gras exhibit at the Presbytere in NOLA. haha :)

I am jealous Reader #2! I love MR also.

I kind of like the new Housewife Sonja...she is semi-sane.

    Holy Moses, Sinead O'Connor.

    Enty, what about Snuggalupagus???

  23. **Apologies.**

  24. @redfishbluefish thank you so much for reminding me of one of my favourite books from when I was a kid! I love watching the old Sesame Street on youtube.

Peter Facinelli just looks like a jerk sometimes...as does Simon Rex. They both give good bitchface.

  25. Nice to see faces, MCH and nuna!

  26. Great reader photos and great story Nunaurbiz!! Thanks for sharing.

Sinead - 44 years old now. Possibly peri-menopause? Or prednisone?? We shouldn't judge. At least not just yet. Everyone has sickness sometimes. Looks like me when I'm sick or hurt and the doctors have drugged me. Just sayin'.

  27. Sinead just looks like a regular 40 something housewife out here in Texas. Relaxed. Likes food.

    Love Grover, always have!

And Mark Ruffalo I have always loved. He is always the best part of any movie he is in.
