Sandra & Jesse - What Do You Think?

I noticed yesterday that when I posted the US Weekly for this week, lots of you were interested in the whole Sandra Bullock talking to Jesse James portion of the cover. I think last week The Enquirer said that Sandra was reconsidering the divorce and then of course even Jesse's lawyer admitted that Jesse is moving to Austin which is the same place Sandra lives most of the time.

The last part is interesting, but I also think that has to do more with Jesse and his custody fight and making it more difficult for Janine to see their child. I cannot imagine Sandra taking Jesse back right now. I don't see it. She was so embarrassed and humiliated that I don't think she would be willing to take that chance right now. Maybe 30 years from now, but not anytime in the near future.

If you look at US Weekly's cover it just says they are talking. I bet they talk fairly frequently. I mean they did adopt Louis together, kind of. Sandra also probably wants to see Sunny on a regular basis so they need to arrange that. Talking is not getting back together.

  1. GRRRRLLLL DON'T DO IT!
You take that man back and sure he will behave for now, but in time his ass will be back on the prowl, trust me, I KNOW!

  2. I'm sure she realizes that. She loved him. When you love someone you can't just turn your emotions off just like that.

Let them talk and try to be amicable for the kids sakes.

  3. When they're a drug addict you can certainly turn the emotions off. It's a life and death situation. Nobody needs that kind of drama in their life. He needs to go away. Far, far away. She needs to keep him away from her child.

  4. Hillary Clinton stands by Bill and will never divorce him and I think he humilated her 20x more then Jesse did.

I still think she won't divorce him but will just lay low until it is socially acceptable to take him back. Expect lots and lots of charity work out Jesse.

  5. What does Jesse's first ex think of his move to Austin? I thought she was pretty involved with her kids. Or, is he moving her to Austin too?

  7. I'm sure she is hurt and humiliated. She might still love him, who knows. I don't think I could still love someone after such deception. However, I think she loves Sunny as her own child and would do what she could to make sure she never goes back to her mother full time. Even if it means staying with Jesse a while longer. I'm sure Jesse has been dangling Sunny in Sandra's face to take him back. I wouldn't be surprised if she does.

  8. Wasn't there a blind item somewhere else about a celeb woman getting cheated on that knew about it as it was going on, but only was surprised by the extent of it and that it was made public??

I have always felt Sandra knew stuff, especially when I heard he paid a huge settlement for sexual harassment during their marriage.

My money is on her taking him back too, if she hasn't already and is only going to go public when he gets his image back in some kind of shape.

  9. I think they should keep it civil for the kids. Good for her for thinking of them first!

  10. I believe in the big Louis adoption People article, she said that Louis would have a relationship with his siblings. I'd think that Jesse and Sandra need to talk, and Jesse would want to be near where Louis lives, so that the relationship between the siblings can flourish, not to mention Sandra's relationship with Jesse's kids.

I totally agree about Hillary and Bill.
As I said yesterday I feel she will most likely go back and I can't fault her if she did. She was married to this man and they shared a life and family together. You may want to walk away and never look back but it is easier said then done. Yes he was an ASSHOLE but, if they really love each other and he is TRULY SORRY for his actions then it is possible to make it work. Although people don't like to believe it, it is possible to change, and Jesse can do it, IF he TRULY wants to.

  13. Agree with timebob, too, but I think there was a big difference between Hilary/Bill and this case. Hilary could/would have been paid a significant amount to stick around and "by her man", and of course had political ambitions of her own. It was in her own best interest to stick with Bill, but I doubt she'll ever forgive him.

Sandra, on the other hand, is her own woman and independent. I was pretty surprised yesterday to see how many of you think she'll go back to him. I really, really don't see it happening, but I've been wrong (many times) before.

  14. I don't think that Hillary cared if Bill cheated as long as he didn't get caught. She didn't want him to hurt her chance to run for president.

  15. If I'd been married to someone, and he had kids from a former marraige that I helped raise and loved as my own, it would break my heart to no longer have them in my life just because their father and I weren't living together anymore. I suspect whatever living arrangements are being made, it's for the kids' well-being and to maintain those bonds. If the stories are to be believed, Sandra is probably the most stable influence those kids (from all of his relationships) have ever had.

  16. She is definitely getting back with him. Whether its because she wants to be with him but more than likely its because she wants to be near his kids. I hope he doesnt embarrass her again.

  17. I think the Bill/Hillary thing was more embarrassing b/c of who he was at the time. I don't think she would have, had she not had her own political ambitions either. But politics is politics and Hollywood is Hollywood. I think in terms of Hollywood, Jesse humiliated Sandra on a similar level.

I am kind of on the same page with what @Sue said. That sounds like something she'd do.

  18. I think it would be very bad for her career if she took him back, but women do foolish things for men.

  19. MCH: Politics is politics and Hollywood is Hollywood, but more and more, politics is Hollywood and Hollywood is politics. This is nothing new, but is becoming increasingly overt. The line has been blurred (deliberately, I believe) so that celebrities become politicians, politicians become celebrities, and, eventually, the two will become indistinguishable. But when presidential candidates start posing for beefcake pictures, that's it!

  20. @Robert - I see your point...this is true. And let's face it: Many politicians are as idiotic as celebrities, anyway. :)

  21. @MCH: If not more so! What always amazes me is seeing interviews with actors or politicians who seem intelligent and voluble onscreen but reveal themselves as vapid and inarticulate when left to their own devices, without a script. How do they do it? A candidate running for office is just the figurehead for a gigantic political organization in the same way an actor is the figurehead for a gigantic entertainment organization. In both cases we're witnessing the calculated orchestration of a massive media production. The better looking and well-spoken you are, the better your chances of success: elective office or an Oscar. I think the Kennedy/Nixon debate really brought the power of TV to the forefront, and we've never looked back, or been allowed to. Whew!

  22. @Robert - Very well said and VERY true. :)

  24. I think Jesse can't stand being known as the scumbag who humiliated America's sweetheart so he selfishly is doing anything he possibly can (i.e. move to Austin) to stay in her life to win her back so that HE can win back America. It's all about his own selfish needs/wants.
