Today's Blind Items - Kindness
I had no idea this youngish B list movie actress who has been in one movie after the other for the past year was so nice. Every day she is in town our actress goes to a coffee shop close to where she lives. Everyday she would see the same homeless man there asking for money. One day some guy kicked his cup and our actress stopped to help him pick up the change and they got to talking. From then on they would talk for a minute or two and she would give him a few dollars. She then heard his story and how he had ended up on the streets. Well, after about a month of this, our actress got him a job in the mail room of her agent, found him a place to live and gave him enough money to pay for his expenses for a few months while he was getting on his feet.

ReplyDeleteAmanda Seyfried has been in lots of movies lately, but I wouldn't say that she would be described as "youngish". I'd say she's definitely young. To me "youngish" is someone around 30 give or take a few years. Who ever it is, I can't wait until the reveals to find out. Hope things work out for that guy.

ReplyDeleteOooh. I like the Kristen Bell guess, and she probably fits the "youngish" category better than Seyfried. Plus, she's been in nice items before.
ReplyDeleteKristen Bell was my thought as well, she's nearly 30( i think) but looks younger.
ReplyDeleteAmanda Seyfried was in Mean Girls, which came out the better part of a decade ago. I mean it had not only Lilo in it but that Lacy gal who was in Party of Five. So Seyfried technically could still be very young, though she almost has to be at least mid-20s, yet having been in big movies for that long (even if she did start really taking off in the past year or so)makes it hard for me to consider her flat-out "young" in the business.
ReplyDeleteSeyfried and Bell both had successful TV careers before transitioning to movies. Enty usually mentions TV if the person has done more than a couple of walk-ons. Plus, "in town" sounds like the person doesn't permanently live in L.A. So I like the Mulligan guess.

Some of the stories of street people will just break your heart.
Some are just plain crazy, and you can't lock up crazy unless they are a danger to themselves or others. Sad.
This one must've just had a hard-luck situation.

I like the Malin Ackerman guess because I was just thinking that she was everywhere and in everything. Another one is Elizabeth Banks.
ReplyDeleteI work with homeless and sometimes half the battle is getting them off the streets. For some of them, the streets feel safer as often they have a mistrust of the system, so I love that this person was able to get back on his feet.
Oh and Colin RULES! Not at all how the media portray him.
