Pink Injured In Harness Fall - Apologizes To Fans

If you have not been to or seen a Pink show on this tour, she flies over the stage and audience. To do so she is strapped into a harness. Well, at a show in Germany last night, the harness was not attached properly and Pink came flying out of it. Kind of. She was kind of half in and half out and slammed into a barricade.

Even though she could have been seriously hurt, she says she is fine. And you know what? She actually apologized to the fans for having to stop the show midway through it so she could go to the hospital. In fact, she apologized while riding in the ambulance to the hospital. I think after watching the video, you will see she had a good excuse for missing the rest of the show.

  6. i like pink. she's rough and tumble and aggressive and in-your-face...everything that i am not. she also comes across as genuinely grateful for her success and it's obvious she loves her fans. go her. i hope insurance kicked in and the rigging guys are more careful next time. poor thing, i hope she has a speedy recovery.

  8. If you look at the video the girl attaching her. Wasn't getting it locked in properly. Pink looked to the side and crossed her arms as a signal to start the aerial becuase she wanted to fly. I think Pink did this to herself. The girl was still trying to attach her and went flying off the side of the stage herself.

Sorry, but Pink was impatient and gave the signal to go to early.

  9. I third everything that Pookie said :)

Pink! has really grown on me these last few years, she seems genuinely true to herself, isn't a party girl, is a great friend to animals and is incredibly talented.

I don't always love her music, but big ups to her for the way she's handling her career. Was reading her tweets yesterday and she was so SORRY to her fans. It was really sweet.

  10. @timebob The crossed arms signal was to say stop, not go.

  11. I agree with the monk. You can see the girl on the left still struggling with the wires/harness and Pink notices this and tries to get the attention of whoever is on the side of the stage to STOP. That person apparently didn't see this and they all went flying as a result of someone back there not paying attention. She's lucky she didn't get hurt worse than she did.

  12. As she started to move, I can hear her saying "No!" right before she goes flying offstage. I'm another one who's not a hardcore fan but have enjoyed her music over the years. She doesn't take herself too seriously and has obvious consideration for her fans, and that's more than okay by me.

  13. I don't listen to a lot of popular music anymore, but I do love Pink. She is real, but she needs to get away from Peaches Geldof and Scientology.

  14. bitch is insane, and i love every second of her for it. i can't think of any other performer who'd get back onstage after a horrific fall like that.

i'm not a diehard omgobsessed pink fan, but i love her spirit, her music and i'm glad she's ok
