Snooki Understands Why Her Castmates Are Jealous Of Her

You know, it really does not take that long for someone to become a diva does it? Barely a year after being plucked from obscurity and a life of asking people if they want fries with that, Snooki now says that she misses her old life, but knows that her fans need her.

I know, I know. Yes, everyday we all wake up and say our life would suck without some Snooki. In the latest issue of Steppin' Out, Snooki says that her castmates are jealous of her fame but that she cannot help it.

"I know the others want the same opportunities that Mike and I get, but we don't control those things. The media isn't asking for the others so they can't really be mad at me."

Snooki and Mike both got huge bumps in salaries and also make the most for club appearances. You know what is really scary? I did some math today and Elliot Spitzer is getting paid about $500K from CNN for his new primetime show which will air five days a week. He gets paid $10,000 a week which is great money but Snooki gets triple that amount just for the show and all her responsibilities consist of is showing up on time, drinking, tanning and not getting into too many fights not caught on tape.

Oh, and don't think that you can get to know Snooki. It turns out she only trusts her childhood friend and her management team. A management team? Last time she had a management team she complained when she got put on the drive-thru.

  1. I'm just glad she's left the food serving business.
There's no way I'd eat anything touched by this woman. She looks like she can't remember the last time she saw soap.

  6. The diffrence with Spitzer is that he will be on CNN well past the time limit of Jersey Shore on Mtv. MTV doesn't invest in shows past 4 or 5 years with the same cast.

Snooki meet Spencer Pratt. There is your future.

  8. Good lord. Magazine covers and headlines like that sure don't help with this chick's self-importance issues either.

  9. I was not graced with height and looks are subjective so I won't go their either. I will say that I think society has declined mightly if this bar brawling trash gets paid more then someone who actually works for a living.

  10. You just know she will look back one day (not that far in the future, much sooner than she could ever imagine) and cringe at that quote about the "opportunities that Mike and I get, but we don't control those things" and how the media "isn't asking for the others." She's so taking it for granted right now, and seems to be of the impression that she has an actual skill or talent and is deserving of what she's gotten. It'll all be gone and she won't believe how ungrateful and presumptuous she was.

  11. @Tenley: I think you're pre-supposing a level of intellect and a quality of reflective thoughtfulness that Snooki simply does not possess. If anything, she'll fail to understand her fading popularity, grow increasingly angry and end up in the tabloids for her erratic outbursts. "WTF, bitches?"
