Heavy Metal Singer Takes The Cat Burglar Thing Literally

I have always loved the expression cat burglar, but you don't really ever see cat burglars who actually wear cat masks. It is kind of a nice touch if you think about it. Of course, despite the nice touch, it is still a crime and the lead singer of heavy metal band Divine Infamy was arraigned in a New York courtroom yesterday after she confessed to four robberies where she wore a cat mask. Shann Spalding robbed some boutiques in New York City and a Nine West store in Queens.

She says that she was forced to commit the robberies by some guy. I wonder if he knows Jeremy London.

  1. NYC Boutiques AND 9 West?!?!?!? These days cat burglars have no class at all! If you're going to steal, keep it classy at least! You can get 9 West at Goodwill. Seriously.

  2. Well, I guess I am not the only one who just doesn't know what to say to this.

  3. When I think of a cat burglar, I think of Cary Grant, in black, purloining jewelry from some swank high-rise, not some ninny in a mask robbing a Nine West.
A cat mask does not a cat burglar make!
