How To Make $100K In Two Hours

I have been reading the stories coming out about Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin breaking up and I think the whole thing was a scam from the outset. Go with me here.

#1 - The couple supposedly got together without anyone knowing it including her mother. They did all of this in just two weeks including Mr. Broke himself going out and buying a ring. Oh, and getting the deal with US Weekly.

#2 - I think US Weekly was in on it. When is the last time you can ever remember US Weekly giving an entire cover to a story. No other stories were on that cover.

#3 - - Bristol has been telling people she broke up with Levi because he told her he may have got his old old girlfriend pregnant. However, she has gone on the record saying she has not even seen Levi in years, knows who the daddy is thank you very much and has no idea how the story got out there.

#4 - Bristol has supposedly moved back in with her parents. So, she decided to break the lease on the apartment she had? I don't think there ever was an apartment. I think it was just so US Weekly could try and explain how they could have even dated for a tiny amount of time without any of their friends or families knowing about it.

#5 - How much is the breakup story worth?

  1. Totally with you, Enty. I am LOVING that this all went down as Chelsea got married in a beautiful, private, classy wedding. Talk about contrast.

Now, the fun part: is she pregnant again? BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE MY LIFE>

  2. #6 you wasted space on this instead of giving us some much needed Ben Affleck stories.

  7. Levi's vehicle was photographed at her apt before the engagement story broke. They may have made a deal with USWeekly then.

  8. Agreed, Enty. US Weekly paid for that ring.

  9. I admit it; I subscribe to Us Weekly. (*hangs head in shame*) I read the Bristol-Levi article and it seemed rather obvious to me that Levi wasn't into it at all. Bristol did all the talking and Levi barely said a word. I found the whole thing odd ... now I know why. Whether Us was in on it or not, I think Bristol & Levi were never "reconnected" and pretended to be in order to get paid.

  10. If this was all made up, shame on them. How horrible that they'd both accept 100K for looking like idiots. Bristol looked like an idiot for taking Levi back and Levi looked like an idiot for being a cheat.

they both sold their souls to the devil.

  11. I agree, it was faked from the start. I don't think Mama Grizzly-killer had anything to do with it. Wait for the real follow-ups, when Bristol sues Levi for his share of the take.

  12. It's all so incredibly trashy! Hopefully it will be the last nail in the coffin that is Sarah Palin's presidential aspirations. Yess!

  13. Oh well. So much for me rooting for them. I guess I got played too! :P

  14. I just wish they would both go away forever. Although once Levi has no more Palin connection it's a good chance we won't have to hear about him all the time.

  15. Hmmm.... I'm going to err on the side of Bristol on this one. I think this kid played her from the get-go. Like I said before, he needed cash and the idea was pitched to him from someone (Probably that idiot "manager" he has) and he went with it. She's just young and tired enough from raising that baby on her own to fall for whatever line he's feeding her, and he led her straight down the path to the cash.

I'm all for believing that it takes two to tango, but I dunno... I really get the feeling Bristol's been scammed royally. I can totally see Levi sweet-talking her into keeping everything quiet and hush-hush until the cover story broke. I feel sorry for her.

  16. Who got the $100K? Him or her? Or both?

@chopchop, not to worry, all the rest of us read it in line at Walmart.

  17. Really cannot STAND this family. What a laughing stock they are really. I wish people would wake up and see what white trash behavior they all exhibit before deciding to send her off as the next potential presidential candidate.

Yes, I agree with you completely Enty that this is a SHAM from the start.

  19. @chopchop and sunnyside1213, I used to have a coworker who bought all the gossip magazines, then brought them to work because her husband objected to her wasting so much money and time on them. Then we would all stand around turning the pages of Star, Us, In Touch, etc., and our boss would come in and shake his head at us. Those were the days -- it was right when Lindsay was just starting to be a lesbian, ah, young lesbian love ...
