Laurence Fishburne's Daughter Always Wanted To Do Porn

I am trying to think of anyone I know who always wanted to be in porn. You know, like that was their career goal. Montana Fishburne says it is always what she has wanted to do. "Being in an adult film is not a big deal to me. It's something I always wanted to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality."

Umm, you are 18. When I was 18 I was still trying to figure out how everything worked. What makes someone decide to be in porn? Don't they usually have other issues which lead to it? There must be some women who do it just because they like sex. I'm sure most of the guys do it because they like sex and they are too ugly to be an actor so being in porn is the closets they will get to being a star.

Earlier when this was all announced, Montana had said this is how she thought she could get famous the fastest. She wants to make it clear though that she wants to be a porn star and not a mainstream actress. As fast as they shoot movies she has probably already done 10 of them by now.

She also says that she has not spoken to her dad since she told him she was doing porn.

  1. Dad must be completely devastated. How will this affect his show and career I wonder? Sad. Sad. Sad.

  2. Most people in porn have issues, but there are exceptions. There's nothing he can do now but accept her decision, and never invite her to walk the red carpet...

  3. I would hope that he never speak publically about this, and that she saves and invests her money. Sex trade workers have a short self-life.

  4. She sounds to me like she has a low IQ.

  5. This is so sad.

It's horrifying to me, everything about it.

It's like prostitution, in that you're having sex for money, but it's never going to go away, even if you walk away from that life. It's recorded for everyone to see, her parents, her children and every stranger on the street.

  6. it blows me away that a young woman would aspire to be a porn star. i despise porn, i have watched a few things and it just makes me feel gross and dirty, not turned on at all..yuck!

  7. Porn stars are galmourized - look at Jenna Jameson, "The Girls Next Door", etc. Certain celebs do get famous for taking it off, so it doesn't surprise me that others want to model that behavior.

But it does sadden me. How humiliating. When she's older I'm sure she'll regret it.

  8. It's not surprising seeing how it's been glamorized. The whole humiliation thing seems to be lost on lots of people these days. Why would people act the way they do if they have any shame at all. Look at all to movies that influence this. How many times has Pretty Woman been on television! Prostitution, porn, stripping, dancing, and "modeling". What about on Millionaire Matchmaker - all the "models" whose biggest claim to fame is a cover shot on Monkey Spank!! I thought it was skeevy when I was young and they wanted me to model underwear. I don't think any young girl today would think the same.

  10. If she is 18 and saying she has "always" wanted to be a porn star, I am concerned as to what she has been exposed to in her young life. For her to have had so much exposure to porn already and to have such disregard for herself, I am thinking some bad shit has happened to her.

  11. Sorry, but this article is so sexist. Heaven forbid an adult woman admits that she is comfortable with her body and with her sexuality and the choices she makes pertaining to such. Her decision is hers to make for whatever reasons she may have.

If she were a 19 year old son of a celebrity no one would be giving her nearly as much shit.

I'm not saying I think her choice to do porn is the right thing, but I respect that it's HER choice.

  12. So, at career day in the 8th grade, she chose porn star?

  13. sorry to burst your bubble, but doing porn isn't like it was in the 70's or 80's. women are actually turning to it for empowerment and fame FIRST,money second. Sad state of our society, but it's the truth.

and some chicks just want to get paid to bone cuz they like it.

it's not always Daddy issues and abuse these days. thank you internet and Joe Francis.

  14. I agree with O and respect that it's HER choice.
I agree with Monica that she might regret it.
I agree with Enty that at 18 you're still figuring out how everything works.

I wish she had thought about it for a few more years because people grow and change alot in their 20's.

  15. Last night on CSI Las Vegas, Fishburne went to an upscale strip club and was lewdly staring at the the strippers. It was really skeevy. Though it was probably filmed before this whole thing went down, everything suddenly made sense with this family.

  16. It has been said that one of her reasons for turning to porn is because her mother and father told her they were not going to support her financially anymore and she needed to get a job. Don't know if it is true or not but she is 18 and can do whatever she wants to do.
Is this embarrassing for her father, Yes, but if she feels it is something that she wants to do then so be it.

  19. Oh Lady J, maybe she has a drug problem? Did you see her prostitution bust? There is a link on D-Listed. So maybe parents wouldn't support her so she would have to go to work and be responsible. The tuff love thing. Wow! No wonder she hasn't talked to her Dad.

  20. She could just be saying stuff like this for publicity. Or to get back at Mom and Dad. Or both.

  22. I'm sorry, I'm another that feels sad about this...for Montana who still seems to be young to be making this kind of decision, and for society at large that "porn" is now a career aspiration. If we change the word "porn" to "prostitution" (is there a difference? I guess one's more lucrative and "glamorous"), I'm not sure we'd all be hopping on the empowerment wagon so quickly.
I read this morning that her father tried to pay Vivid $1million to stop the distribution of the vid - his lawyer confirmed. Poor guy. I really hope it doesn't affect his career - it shouldn't.

  23. Thanks RocketQueen!

I hope Vivid takes the $1 million.

  24. It's her choice, but it sounds like she's punishing mom and dad. Oh, you want me to get a job? Fine! I'll do porno.

  25. @Nosey - it was apparently too late. It had already shipped. The lawyer was expressing disappointment.

  26. i mean really, so? it's her life, she's legal. she's got her dad's jaw.

  27. I don't think this will affect her father's career--that would be massively unfair.

  28. You can thank Paris Hilton and Kim K for young ladies like this who come from a privileged background thinking getting naked and having sex on camera will get them rich and famous. It worked for them. And no doubt Montana WILL get rich and famous from this thing. Who wants to bet the release and contract she signed gives her a lot more control over her image than an average girl just off the bus? You know, the average girl who decides to emulate Montana, but probably isn't going to get a reality show out of it.

  29. Sadly, reminds me of the recent arrest of former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's daughter Caroline for petty shoplifting. These sort of cries for attention (help) usually stem from a severely dysfunctional upbringing and - sadly - almost always results in this sort of self-destructive behavior.

  30. I think Lady J's assumption is correct. Here's what might have happened--she wants to be an actress and comes from an acting family (dad, of course; is Gina Torres her step mom or birth mom?). She wants her family connections to get her to the top RIGHT NOW. Dad says no, you'll earn your way just like he did. So the kid says fine, she'll go into porn and she'll show everyone what famous is.

It's sad, very sad. I hope she changes her mind.
