BuzzFoto Blind Item

These two comedian costars who are known to be friends off stage but bitter enemies in their popular movie, are no longer buddy-buddy in real life either. It happened on the set of their latest movie when one of the stars decided to play a trick on the other (who is severely allergic to peanut butter) by slipping peanuts into his food. When he went into anaphylactic shock and had to be taken to the hospital, halting production, their relationship has never been the same.

  5. I know Ray Romano is allergic to peanuts. Can't think of a popular movie that he has been in though.

  9. OMFG. I have the anaphylactic allergy to peanuts, and that shit is no joke. I can't believe a grown adult would do that? He basically tried to kill his friend. What a guy!

  10. There's a not so fine line between practical jokes and attempted homicide.

  11. How would anyone find that stunt to be funny?? Ohh, I forgot, they do that sort of thing in comedies.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

  12. Having a child with major food allergies, this makes me livid. Yikes...

That said, I can't find anything about either Stiller or Wilson having peanut allergies. Or allergies. Ugh.

  13. Okay, that shit is so fucked up, there are no words for it. What a fucking moron that "friend" is. Agree it sounds like Stiller and Wilson, I can see Wilson being stupid/arrogant/wasted enough to try something like that and think it's funny.

According to my Google Skillz, the following actors have peanut allergies:

    Joshua Jackson
    Ray Romano
    Daniel Radcliff

Since Ray is the only "comedian" on the list, I looked into popular movies where he has a rival, and it has to be either Ice Age or Men of a Certain Age.

Manny's ~rival~ in Ice Age was Diego... voiced by Dennis Leary...

So that's my guess. Even though I don't think I've ever read anything about them being friends irl...

  19. I could see Denis Leary doing this. He strikes me as a jerk. But is he a comedian?

It would be really nice if Blogger had EDIT. Santa are ya listening??

I could see Denis doing it too. And yes, he's a comedian.

  21. Well,he presents himself as a comedian.

  22. For most animated movies, the voice parts are usually recorded independent of other actors (i.e. alone).

I like the Owen Wilson/Ben Stiller guess, but I'd prefer it to be Ben Stiller pulling the 'prank' since I expect him to be an asshole. There's no hard evidence, though one site said Owen turned down Reese's Pieces, so he could have the allergy....

  23. Whoever it is, is a HUGE asshole.

  24. Will ferrel and John ? from step brothers and talladega nights.

  25. Why is this blind?

Is not really career-damaging or slanderous.

    ReplyDelete
  26. If it's not career-damaging it should be!

That's not a joke. Seriously, that person should be arrested and charged with something. If not attempted murder than greivous bodily harm or something like that.

  27. I have no idea who this jerk is, but people with food allergies can get seriously ill just smelling or touching a peanut, strawberry, etc. The 'comedian' responsible is damn lucky he didn't kill the other guy. Good Lord.

  28. And they are filming an Ice Age movie right now.

  29. I think we're all talking like these stars live in reality like us. I think this is just an act of complete ignorance and stupidity. I don't think he intended anything by it, he's just so far removed from the real world he didn't know the extent of what he was doing.

  30. Wasn't there another blind where an actress did this to someone?
