DWTS Was Glad To See The Hoff Leave

Although Michael Bolton was kicked off Dancing With The Stars this week at least his fellow co-stars, dancers and crew will actually miss him. Not so much for The Hoff who was the first to leave the show. US Weekly talked to someone who said, "He was a mess. His people would call staffers 20 times a day, changing rehearsal times, canceling shoots and even suggesting things like camera angles and poses. It's like, we've done 11 seasons! We know what we're doing! He talks more than anyone I have ever met. And I have yet to have one conversation with him that makes sense.

For someone in LA to say The Hoff talks more than anyone they have ever met says a lot about what kind of condition he must be in. People in LA love to talk, primarily about themselves and talk a lot. I think the problem is that he constantly refers to himself in the third person and that he is often drunk, has many brain cells killed by his drinking and just says whatever pops out in his head at the time even if it is unrelated to what the previous sentence was about.

  1. No surprise there. He was drunk in every clip I saw from rehearsals and he was drunk live as well. Pathetic loser.

  2. Anyone calling themselves "the" anything, esp at 50+ yo, is off. What a maroon.

  3. It's going to be funny if Bristol Palin wins. Unlikely, but funny.

  4. I almost wished I had watched that. Almost.

  5. Completely by accident I landed on the final minutes of DWTS just before they called out that he'd been voted off and gave his farewell. Can someone please tell me WTF was wrong with his voice? He wasn't quite slurring, but it seemed like his tongue was too big for his mouth? I thought maybe drunk, but it mostly sounded brain-damaged. Does he always sound like that?

  6. I don't recall reading anywhere that he's sought treatment anytime recently, so I have no doubt his being constantly drunk seriously made it hell for everyone around him. It's kind of sad.

  7. Met him once. He initiated conversation with ME about random stuff like nail polish while I was trying to get his work visa together. It seemed to bother him that I wasn't asking him any questions about himself. At the time I thought he was on coke. Weird.

  8. Interesting.

Michael Bolton kind of seems like a douche, too, but in a different more uptight way.

  9. Maybe next year, DWTS will be smart and book KITT.

All joking aside, he needs help. Everything I've heard about him points to alcohol related dementia.

And I would cut my right arm off to go on one date with Haylie Hasselhoff. I think she's gorgeous.

  10. Honestly, I thought he acted sober when he was on DWTS, but I had few cocktails watching the show so maybe it was me.

  12. All posts about the Hoff should use a picture of him eating the cheeseburger on the floor.

  13. DWTS is my guilty pleasure. I'm glad Hoff made an early exit, closely followed by sourpuss Michael Bolton.

I do find it hard to believe the Hoff is still popular in Germany.

  14. If DWTS didn't know he'd act like this when they signed him, the producers are stupider than I thought.

  15. Cheryl I am eating a late lunch NOT FUNNY!

Okay really funny in an 'eeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwww' way!

I am shocked that voters didn't keep him around just for the what will happen next factor.

Cheryl, that is a nasty pic of him

Why was he even hired in the first place???

  17. @trinnean, he was totally and completely shitfaced, that is why he sounded like that. He mouth was dry from drinking the excessive amounts of alcohol he must ingest to get a buzz.

@The nightmare child~ LOL and spit my soda out on my computer keyboard at the KITT remark

  18. I agree with Cheryl. Please make that happen, Enty!

  19. I have a friend who used to party
with him years ago. He said that
The Hoff could do more cocaine and
    alcohol than any human alive.

  20. that picture of him is so skeevy! he looks angry and wild, and just weird! it also always looks like he is wearing really tight spanx under his shirts to hold in a gut.

  21. @Susan I completely agree with you about Michael Bolton coming off like a jerk. I didn't think Bruno's comments were anything but honest so the whole Bruno-gate thing going on puzzled me. And then when MBolton said Bruno was disrespectful I rolled me eyes. Disrespectful? For what, being honest? This man is obviously not used to hearing anything but how "great" he is. I mean, he's Michael Bolton! (right Carrie Ann, gag) Please. I was glad to see go...WooF

  22. The thing with DWTS is their weird voting rules. He could have gotten more votes than other contestants, but since they also take the judges votes into consideration in some way, we'll never know.

I wish Bolton would have gone the first week. He so clearly did not want to be there this week that I agree with Bruno. Someone else could have had that spot that actually wanted to be on the show.

  23. Glad David and Michael are gone. David was a nuisance and Michael was an embarrassment. Michael's performance was so cringe worthy that I started to doubt he could be a competent stage performer. I now have no desire to see him in concert.

  24. I love generalized statements like "people in LA talk too much".. lol.

  25. I thought Bruno was a bit harsh, but he and Len have always had some strong words for some of the contestants. It was shocking to my at how bad Bolton was at feeling the beat. How the hell is he a musician?

Anyway, Bolton is on a major tour right now, so I don't know what he was thinking joining the show. Didn't his team do any research? The stars have to rehearse a bazillion hours a day. And again, as a musician, he should know this.

I've always hated Michael Bolton. When he won the world over with his scratchy voice, shitastic love songs and long, flowy mullet, I truly believed it was the end of the world as I know it.
    Bleh.

  26. Yikes! I had actually felt sorry for The Hoff, but what a drunk ass!

I actually felt sorry for Michael Bolton but thought his comment about Bruno was a little OTT. I kept thinking too, at the end of the results show how he must be so pissed that he was losing out to The Situation!

I always think about Office Space when I hear/see anything about the real Michael Bolton. Heehee. "No talent ass-clown."

  27. Michael Bolton is a no-talent Ass-Clown. Just ask Michael Bolton.

He said that movie ruined his life. People would scream "ass-clown" as he was crossing the street. I think it is HYSTERICAL!

  28. @Jamie's Girl - LMAO
    I never heard that before!
Aww...now I feel kind of sorry for him.

  31. re Sateen's post: Does that make The Hoff a likely candidate for that blind about the actor who would show up at the coke dealer's house in his costume/scrubs?

  34. Oh Michael Bolton...what an edjit!!It always amuses me at how outraged contestants on DWtS can be at the 'harsh' criticisms and scores of Len and Bruno - how I wish that they had Craig from Strictly (the UK version) to face up too! Giving a 3 is the norm for him!!
