Paris Hilton Banned From Wynn Resorts

In some very good news announced today, Wynn resorts spokesperson, Jennifer Dunne announced that Paris Hilton has been banned from all Wynn resorts. You know, you really have to admire Steve Wynn and his company for this. They could have just pretended none of this had happened and that a celebrity was special, but they have not. They fired her boy friend Cy Waits from his job, or as they said, "separated" him from his job.

Plus, they don't want to be associated with someone that brought coke onto their property. Sure, lots of people probably bring coke onto Wynn property, and if they are caught they are probably banned too. A casino does not want to do anything to endanger it's license to operate a casino. Plus, everyone knows Paris was at The Wynn when this happened.

Wonder if any of the other clubs will start following Wynn's example.

  3. Man, between this and Steve Wynn announcing yesterday that he is mandating that all his restaurants now also serve vegan meals, I am officially a fan. I'll see you in October, Wynn resorts!

  5. LOVE Vegas, LOVE the Wynn and Encore, and especially love their clubs, Tryst and XS. They were my two favorites long before this went down (AND I briefly hung out with Ice-T and Coco at XS!).

My friends and I always say how we want to shake Steve Wynn's hand...even more so now!

  8. not to mention, wynn, being one of the biggest coke-heads back in the day (and who knows? probably now) also has to protect his reputation and/or habit du jour.

    **steps down from soapbox.

  10. A casino operator with morals? Wow. This is a Wynn/Wynn. That's where I'll stay next time we hit Vegas.

  11. you know what? 5 years ago, i thought wynn had a pretty good idea with the fake grass in his vegas hotels, we tried to do it at home (too expensive to install, much cheaper over time in the desert).
to read this really impresses me. i will DEFINITELY check out wynn resorts, damn the expense, next time i hit sin city!

  13. I love Steve Wynn. He does and says what he wants, I'm sure he thinks that Paris is just trash and is more than happy to embarrass her publicly. She is not representative of the type of people his property courts, she's a Beverly Hillbilly. Oh Rocket Queen, I'm heading to Vegas in Oct too. I'll meet you at the Wynn buffet:)

  14. Don't be fooled, this has nothing to do with morals, this is a genius business move (and it will be noticed by the Hilton hotel chain and he'll probably be sued) (unsuccesfully). This is a HILTON he's banning, and it brushes the entire Hilton chain as trashy compared to Wynn's resorts. This is deliberate. And hilarious. And he's probably been fantasizing about something like this for a long time. He's got the perfect legal defense: He's not defaming the Hilton chain, the banning is strictly due to Paris's personal felony-level actions.

  15. And I also agree--brilliant biz move on Mr. Wynn's part. kudos. And if I ever go to Vegas this will def be where we stay. It is done. (although I might try to sneak in some mild contraband of my own hee hee)

  16. Yay Maharesred! Will I know you by your red hair? ;)

  17. He's banning a Hilton who's been disowned by the last member of the family to have any real connection to the hotels save through (former) inheritance. If Wynn claims she violated a zero-tolerance drug policy and can prove he's banned other people for the same thing, they're out of luck. He fired her boyfriend the same day he hired him!
Any chance we can get Steve Wynn a judgeship in California?

  18. @Tenley, brilliant insight!

  19. Does anyone know whether she made bail immediately? If she jumps it, we will have a whole state that is Paris free. (Please Paris, be this dumb.)

  20. But yes, Rocket Queen, indeed my hair is red!

  21. I heart this man. I'd rather see his TV show than Trump's.

Even if she jumped bail and left the state, she'd be brassy enough to come *back* and be astonished that she's arrested.

  22. Now, if only the rest of the world would follow Wynn's lead and ban Paris' stupid ass as well.

  23. Steve Wynn, thank you. I love that you are doing this. That stupid whore needs to know that she can't ALWAYS get away with it, because she's rich.

  24. I'm actually considering sending an email to Wynn to express my support on this! hahahaha Parisite is getting what she should have gotten YEARS ago. Hopefully other chains will follow suit. Today is a good day, let's hope it gets worse for this piece of shit!

  26. What Tenley said.

And if you look carefully at that pic you can see Paris' boyfriend very surreptitiously sneaking cocaine into her purse without her knowledge. The cad!

  27. Mango, are you looking for a job as Paris´legal representation? Cause I think you just blew her away with that awesome defense!
