16 & Pregnant

Because I have no life other than watching as much television as possible while I slowly drink myself to sleep each night, I managed to watch the season premiere of 16 & Pregnant last night. My first thoughts are that MTV did a better job this year of not glamorizing teenage pregnancy. I thought last season they made it seem much more appealing. This year, at least in the episode featuring Brooke last night, they really did a good job of showing how tough it is and how it is tough to make any of your dreams come true when you are struggling to raise a baby as high school kids.

I thought Cody was not exactly the most motivated of individuals but that he seems to be a pretty involved dad which is more than I can say for some of the dads from last season. I think if Brooke can turn into her mother and whip Cody around that they may be able to achieve something. You know, like get that barn they want.

The season preview looks incredible. I can't wait to watch that one family who seems to spend the whole time yelling at each other while they take turns hitting each other. Great environment for a baby.

  4. Those two clips at celebitchy.com showed me that Amber is a nasty piece of work. I don't think I could watch the show. (I do watch a few "reality" shows but try to avoid the ones that make me want to kick in my own television.)

  6. i'm most offended by them naming their baby Brody when the father is named Cody. think outside the box.

Enty, i agree, i watched the old episode before with that kid Joe. I wanted to smack him in the teeth so bad.

  7. Is this the one with the preview of the lady saying on the couch " Whats you need is a DNA test because if that baby comes outs and its not yours, there is gonna be some rumble in the jungle". When I first heard that, I swear yall, I had coke cola coming out of my nose.
