BuzzFoto Blind Item

This star recently announced a pregnancy but what she didn’t say was she has no clue who the father is. Not because she’s slept around, but because she was impregnated with science, not sex.

  1. Maybe I'm overly sensitive today, but I think this blind is awful. It's just nasty. So what if she decided to use an anonymous donor? Maybe she wanted a baby and couldn't get pregnant. Who is entertained by this blind? This one's just distasteful, IMO.

  2. Well said, Jessie! It's a women's choice, and clearly she has the money, so why not? And it's noone's business but her own.

  3. yeah, who cares?

  4. Agreed, maybe the person she is with is sterile? That would be devastating and would also account fo rher not knowing who the father is.

When someone wants to have a baby, they will do whatever it takes. IVF, surrogate, adoption, sperm donor, whatever.

  5. yeah, this is not the first BI in bad taste nor will it be the last.

  6. This blind is RIDICULOUS. I think it's also particularly nastily worded. "...she has no clue who the father is... because she was impregnated with science." You mean she used donor sperm? Que escandalo!

Jesus. I have so, so many friends with fertility issues and this blind is offensive and ridiculous.

  7. I am glad I am not the only one crying foul on this blind. As an infertile woman and the proud mother of 3 adopted children, there are some things that are sacred...even for celebrities.

  8. I agree with everyone else. Why is this even a blind. Even married women married to men sometimes have to use a sperm donor because of Male Infertility. It is nothing to be ashamed of, for it to be blind item makes it seem that way. I don't want to know, it is not anyones business, I am just happy for whoever it is.

  10. While I can't disagree with most of the posters on here who don't think this should really be a blind item I am amused at the "honor amongst thieves" attitude on here. Blind items in gossip columns are kind of mean spirited to begin with. Can any of us really cry foul when it isn't a kind or charitable thing to be reading this in the first place? Sometimes you have to embrace your inner snarkiness...

  11. Actually Generic, that's precisely my point. I've never commented on something being too nasty before -- I wouldn't be here if that was the case! I loves me some gossip! But this one feels different. The woman doesn't sleep around (which we all love to hear about), she hasn't done anything wrong -- it's like there's nothing to snark ABOUT, yet someone is trying to make what is actually a nice thing dirty, just to gossip. It's one thing to laugh at someone's poor choices in a gossip setting -- this isn't even that. There's no redeeming gossip value to the blind, it's only hurtful.

My two cents. Worth 1 and a half in this economy :-)

  12. I agree with everyone this BI is very poor-worded and in bad taste. However, the way the word "science" is used makes me think of someone involved in Scientology. So, maybe, it's Kelly Preston and it's completely no surprise to anyone.

  13. Well said, JessieE. I totally agree - I, too, love gossip. Snarkiness rocks. Just not feelin' it on this one.

  16. I think infertility is a very sensitive subject to a lot of women and couples. It can happen to anyone regardless of income, race, lifestyle or whatever, it is not a choice, it is just a card you are handed. Even if this woman is not infertile and this is the only way she can get pregnant because of circumstances, it is her choice. I am growing tired of the gay blinds also. If I never saw another one, I would be ok with that.

  17. I don't get what the big deal is! This doesn't seem nasty or cruel or insensitive to fertility issues in my opinion. Maybe some people are ooky about IVF, but it's not a big deal.

The way this is worded it doesn't sound like it's a married/involved star who couldn't get preggers the usual way, I took it as she didn't have a long-term guy and wanted a baby. Good for her!

  18. I think that Sociopath David Miscaviage is the father to all these Scientolotots. Wouldn't surprise me if he was Kelly Preston's. Maybe that's how they hooked Travolta into staying with Preston and staying in Scientology after the death of Jett.

  19. I agree that it's not much of a blind item. For me, reading gossip is about scandalous behaviour - dumb and outrageous things famous people CHOOSE to do.

It's not about things that they as human beings have no control over, like fertility issues, miscarriages, illnesses, and other non-scandalous events.

This stuff is A) boring, because we can learn nothing from it and B) actually private, even for the type of celebrities who makes themselves into a "brand" by slapping their names on perfume and other products.

  20. No one should be having children. ADOPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. I think trouble bubble nailed it, and that's why it's a blind.

  22. Scientology has nothing to do with 'science'. Sorry guys.
